Private sandy, beachfront property, located on Lake Ontario. Safe for kids to swim, kayak etc. Two decks, one overlooking the lake. Very peaceful, steps away from forever wild State land. One mile long, sandy beach, located on State land, next to property.
Nice spot to just relax and enjoy nature. 12 minute drive into Cape Vincent and Chamount.

Beautiful spot!! Quiet and relaxing! The place was very clean and had everything we needed. Host is absolutely wonderful and very quick to respond. We would definitely stay here again.

The property was very cozy and clean. The beds were comfortable, and the one room had an excellent view of the water. The water was a little too shallow there for swimming or fishing off the shore, but there are lots of places close by to do those activities. My understanding is that the water level was down a bit from normal as well, but i'm not positive. We did enjoy borrowing the kayaks that were available for use. All in all we had an excellent stay, and Vivian was quick to respond when I messaged her with a question.

Amazing Stay!

We had an amazing time at Vivian’s cottage! Our kids loved playing in the shallow water and yard, the cottage was extremely clean and had all the amenities we needed to make our stay comfortable. We really enjoyed meeting Vivian- she was very friendly, accommodating and made our stay even better! Would love to stay here again!

Quiet retreat on lake

Quiet property on Lake Ontario. Only sound we heard was the water lapping along the shore. Very peaceful, clean and looked like what we saw in photos online.

Hidden gem, upstate

Spectacular views of lake Ontario off the front deck. Wonderful views of a lush yard and garden off the back deck. Private and clean, with access to kayaks and boogie boards for water fun.

Wonderful experience

The property was clean and comfortable, with a lovely view of the lake. Vivian could not have been more welcoming or helpful. We loved the tour of her gardens. Sitting by the fire pit and watching the sun set over the lake was magical.

Weekend getaway

We had a lovely stay at three mile bay. This rental had everything we needed and some nice touches. The lack of a living room was okay as we were not there too much and really enjoyed the outdoor balcony overlooking the water. Very quiet and serene in this area. We would definitely return!

We were so pleased with the cleanliness and how pretty and well appointed and supplied it was. It was perfect for us. Had a campfire each night. The hostess was very helpful.

This rental is a hidden jem

Three of us girls wanted a quite few days at the beach, this place was perfect. Location was secluded on the beach, with cayakas, a fire pit and for our stay the full moon. Beds are super comfortable, kitchen had what we needed for preparing a few snacks. The town of Clayton and A bay are a short drive away, with great restaurants. We enjoyed a great breakfast at Jacks diner on the main drag also. Vivian is an outstanding host. Re ommed this property for a quite beach get away.

Wonderful host and well appointed

Vivian is an excellent host. The unit is adorable and very well appointed; and she goes out of her way to help you have a lovely trip. My only suggestion is that the description should let people know that the unit is an apartment above a garage so they are aware that there are steps to climb.

Peaceful, beautiful property right on the lake shore

This is a nice little "cottage", well appointed, beautiful lakefront setting, quiet small shoreline neighborhood. All appliances worked well, although we did not have need of the washer/dryer. Vivian is a very good host, and Panda is a very friendly dog. It is only a short 15 minute drive to Cape Vincent, and 30 minutes to Clayton. Regrettably, our stay was during the late Spring, when the lake water level was still high, leaving no beach to walk. But, the road into the property provides a nice mile-long walk right next to the shore line. We would recommend this property for anyone wanting peace and quiet, and lake access for kayaks or a small boat.

We had a lovely time in Three Mile Bay! All of the amenities and little touches made us feel comfortable and welcome. Great stay if you’re looking to do some day trips around the 1000 Island area, especially Cape Vincent and Clayton.

5th or 6th year staying @ Vivian's on the lake. She makes upgrades every year. 6 kayaks/canoes/paddleboards for guests use. Fire pit was used to its fullest. Many close beaches/restaurants/breakfast spots within a 10 minute ride. Easiest check in-out. The best spot to pick up fire wood is the entrance of Poilt Peninsula State park (a 3 min drive). I recommend this hidden gem to everyone i know. However i should cut back on that as her availability fills up fast. For good reason! Thank you Vivian. See you next year!

The property is perfect! The location is right on the water, secluded yet a short drive into the various villages. Vivian is a great host and was very welcoming. Both bedrooms have everything you need and the kitchen and bath sit centrally between them. It is well appointed and we loved the quiet stay!

Absolutely amazing place, location, accommodations! Vivian and her grandchild are absolutely lovely hosts. Her dog Panda was so friendly and made us feel loved too! I met one of her cats…again friendly, and sweet! I’d stay again in a heartbeat!Vivian also got things ready for us so my daughter and I could see ay there a whole day and 4 hours sooner than our planned check in (we had camper trouble at our last location and had no utilities at all!)

What a perfect little gem of a cottage. Beautiful view out the bedroom doors, quiet and peaceful. Cottage was clean, beds were comfy. Would stay there again. Only wish there was a couch or some place to sit when you don’t want to lay down… other than that. Just right!

Beautiful location!

What a beautiful, quiet spot for some R&R. Brought our soldier son here for a respite and went kayaking and paddleboarding. Firepit at night for some Smores. Owner was very hospitable and accomodating. Would definitely stay here again. Had perfect weather!
