Ihastuttava linna, joka on peräisin 12. vuosisadalta ja joka on entisöity 1700-luvulla Acciaiolin jaloin perheellä, upealla tornilla, joka on rakennettu Firenzessä sijaitsevan Palazzo Vecchion mallin pohjalta. Montegufonin linna on osa suurta kiinteistöä, johon kuuluu viinitarhoja ja oliivipuita Chiantin alueen sydämessä.

Etäisyydet Villa: pieni kylä Montagnana V. P. ruoka kaupoissa 1 km, Montespertoli kaikenlaisia ?? kauppoja noin. 5 km, Firenze 20 km, Pisa n. 70 km.
Bussipysäkki, jossa on bussit Firenzeen, Montespertoliin ja Empoliin, on vain muutaman metrin päässä linnasta. Vuokrattavia polkupyöriä ja skoottereita on saatavilla Montespertolissa.

Vieraiden käytössä: suuri ja erittäin viehätt��v�������������� rivipuisto, jossa on puutarhakalusteet ja pöytätennis, kauniit italialaiset puutarhat (vuodelta 1800) ja sitruunapuut ja uima-allas (12 x 6 m - avoinna 01.44-31) / 10). Vastaanotto on avoinna 8. 30 - 12. 30 ja 14. 30 - 18. 30. My��s linnan ulkorakennukset palautettiin ja niistä tuli viehättäviä huoneistoja. Linnaa johtaa Posarellin perhe. Mukava ravintola, jossa on hienoja paikallisen Chianti-perinteen reseptejä, on avoinna joka ilta (huhtikuusta lokakuuhun, paitsi tiistaisin). Pesula jaetulla pesukoneella (3 € / pesu). Wi-Fi-internetyhteys on saatavilla joissakin huoneistoissa, vastaanotto- ja ravintola-alueella.

We stayed there for a week and and were quite fascinated: The castle is set in a wondeful landscape. The pool is nice, the restauarnt was great. Check - in and chek-out were without problems. The appartment was nice. You definetly need a car - but then Florence, Siena and Pisa are within easy reach.

Location fantastica,appartamento con 3 camere e 3 bagni bellissimo e funzionale.Unica pecca del castello é la mancanza di un bar dove fare colazione o prendere un drink ma in tempo di covid penso sia di difficile gestione.Comunque lo consiglio anche per la posizione,vicino a Firenze,volendo Pisa ad un ora e alla via del chianti. [English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] Fantastic location, apartment with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, beautiful and functional.The only flaw of the castle is the lack of a bar where to have breakfast or have a drink but in covid time I think it is difficult to manage. However, I recommend it also for the location, close to Florence, or if you want Pisa within the hour and the Chianti roads.

We had the most splendid stay in the Villa. Incredibly spacious, great for our family, we cooked a lot of meals in the well equipped kitchen. The facilities available are incredible! Cost of drinks from the bar are great value for money.

Beautiful and historical castle with spectacular views of the countryside around. Our accommodation was part of some buildings adjacent to the castle which had been very sympathetically decorated in a rustic shabby chic style, with lovely views from all sides. However, it was situatedin a shady spot which was a shame as we were unable to sit outside and enjoy the Tuscan sunshine. The amenities in the kitchen had also seen better days with a couple of the appliances perhaps needing to be renewed and utensils a bit thin on the ground. Lovely towels and bedding were supplied however and the bathrooms and bedrooms very nice. The staff in reception were very helpful and the grounds of the castle and the swimming pool were in a lovely setting. Just one major fly in the ointment - the weekend after we arrived a huge group of about 60 Swedish guests arrived who seem to think it was their right to take the whole place over. They told us that we were unable to use the pool as they had hired it for the weekend for themselves but as we were also paying guests and had not been told otherwise by the staff, we stayed in the pool but did in the end feel bullied out of it especially when they took the one sunbed that was available for us to use and put their things on it over the top of our things. That night and the following night they had a disco set up with very loud music that went on until well after 1 in the morning and could be heard from where our accommodation was. They also had a huge dinner in the courtyard of the castle and when we wanted to get to the restaurant the gates were locked around the outside and the only way through was by walking through their dinner and speeches and we didn’t feel that we wanted to do that. Thankfully they had all left by Monday morning and we were able to continue enjoying our holiday. We do feel that if the Castle wishes to take these large parties of people, then in fairness to other guests, they should close the rest of the Castle and not take any bookings for other people until the large group has departed. We did hear other guests who were staying near us complaining about the loud music to each other, so we know it wasn’t just us. EasyReserve as a company dealt with our booking well, although when I emailed them a couple of times with a couple of queries they were very slow in replying, so one time I telephoned using the number for the local rate, to find that I had been charged £7! If I had had a ...

Beautiful villa in the hills of Tuscany! The castle has an old world feel to it, with a wonderful staff, gorgeous views, lovely town, delicious on-site restaurant and lovely pool.
