Detached holiday villa for 8 people with heated swimming pool and view of the sea, a few km from Tropea.

Villa Michaela is located in one of the most beautiful and quiet areas of Capo Vaticano.

From the veranda there is a breathtaking view of the blue sea and the Calabrian coast and, on clear days, one can see Mount Etna in Sicily and the Gulf of Gioia Tauro across from it. The villa is ideal for couples or families who want to have a relaxing holiday in a private setting. It can accommodate 8 people.

The veranda leads into the main living area which has a couch, TV, and kitchen with dining table. There are 3 bedrooms and 2 have en-suite bathrooms. The veranda has a big couch, 2 armchairs, a hammock, and a big wooden dining table. There is also a beautiful view of the Straight of Messina.

There is a separate guesthouse with double bedroom and en-suite bathroom.

The villa is fully furnished and has all amenities, from an ironing board to a coffee machine, to make our guests’ stay as comfortable as possible. Wi-Fi is available inside the villa and in the garden too. In the garden, there is a barbecue and a ping-pong table.

The brand new infinity saltwater swimming pool is filtered and cleaned with salt.

Great place to stay. All the amenities you could need. Fantastic pool and plenty of outside space for everyone to enjoy. Some restaurants and shops nearby which are useful indeed. The host was excellent and we would love to return some day.

Spectacular panoramic view of the sea. Property is stunning and helps lend to the feeling of peaceful luxury. Plenty of outdoor seating and lounging areas. The house was very clean and accommodating. The beds were very comfortable. Francesca was extremely helpful and communicative. She assisted greatly by helping us secure transfer from the train and renting a car before we ever arrived. Once on property, she responded promptly to assist when needed. Easy check in and check out. Overall, it was a fantastic experience! Be sure to walk to the Bier Garten Capo Vaticano - food is fresh and delicious, views are stunning and the people that run the place made us feel like family or long lost friends.

Beautiful holiday home; gorgeous view

We have been renting holiday homes for over 20 years, and this was one of the best. The house is airy and spacious with fully stocked kitchen, large bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms; lovely outdoor patio and dining area. The guest house adjacent is great for additional use. The pool is spectacular. It has a large deck area with top-notch chairs & umbrellas. Also, this was the only house we ever rented that had beach equipment - umbrellas, towels, snorkeling equipment, etc. Ground staff and/or gardener come by almost daily, so if ever there is a problem (which there hardly ever was,) you could address it with them, and the issue was solved immediately. Had a fantastic holiday. We highly recommend this property.

Lovely, well equipped house with great views

This house was perfect for us (two couples) with two ensuite bedrooms, modern bathrooms and a nice kitchen/living room opening onto good outdoor spaces. The kitchen was well equipped (especially liked the bean to cup coffee machine). Unlike other villas we've had where the kitchen was stripped bare of 'essentials' left by other guests, this one was generous, with salt, oil, balsamic vinegar etc all there and the hosts gave us a bottle of wine, and there were plenty of cooking knives, tea towels, and all sorts of useful cooking equipment. There were a stack of beach towels, bags and umbrellas too. All in all it was the most generously equipped villa we've ever had. The views were stunning. Outdoor pool nice for a cool off. The only thing we'd have liked better was closer access to the beach - you could cut through the Blue Bay Hotel access road but it was still a 15 minute walk with a stiff climb on the way home. Do-able for a day on the beach but not so practical for a quick morning sea swim. Trattoria di Mimmo just a 10 minute walk away serves excellent pizza at great value, with amazing views of Stromboli.

We have visited Calabria on many occasions and stayed in hotels and family apartments. This Villa was really delightful, clean and a quiet retreat. The pool was an added bonus even through the beach was only a short distance away. Glorious sea views and setting. Many added facilities available to us which was a great surprise and we felt totally at ease and safe in our holiday home. Well done Enotria for finding this perfect gem!

La maison est juste parfaite. Elle est bien pensée, bien meublée et très pratique. Pour une fois une douche italienne qui ne déborde pas de tout les cotés. Les lits sont très confortables, on y a bien dormi. La vue, juste splendide. La piscine très agréable, à la bonne température, et l’eau salée est bien plus agréable que l’eau chlorée. Pour ceux qui aiment la plage, il faut compter 15 minutes à pied, et bien plus pour remonter. Plage très belle et l’eau absolument transparente. Très propre. De l’autre côté, il y a une jolie promenade pour aller voir le couché de soleil. Maison appropriée pour des familles, entre amie ou juste en couple. Seul petit hic, l’eau n’étant pas potable, il faut prévoir les bouteilles d’eau.
