"EL CHALET"
VIELHA located 14 Kms from the chic and modern ski resort BAQUEIRA.
It is an apartment of 200 sqm ground floor with garden and wooden terrace
Its location and originality makes it a unique property for rent.
It is located in the center of VIELHA, but quiet, no need to take the car except to go to BAQUEIRA 15 minutes (there are also shuttles and bus).


VIELHA is the capital of VAL D'ARAN and is located 975 m above sea level.
This town of 6000 inhab. has all the services (Supermarket - Bank - Hospital etc ...)
For after ski bars and restaurants (about a hundred ... you do not have time to do all !!!)
Many sports facilities (ice rink - Swimming pool - Spa) make the stay comfortable for skiers and non skiers.

When does the ski season, the ARAN VALLEY, remains a very popular destination in spring, summer or autumn.
Indeed the area offers a multitude of mountain activities in a magnificent setting as hiking, mountain biking, canyoning, climbing, rafting.

La casa es espectacular. Nunca hemos estado en ninguna casa mejor tanto para esquiar como para turismo rural en primavera o verano. Todo perfecto salvo que durante los dos primeros días la casa tuvo un problema de suministro de gas que afectó tanto a la casa como al resto del edificio y por lo tanto estuvimos sin calefacción, agua caliente ni cocina pero entre la ayuda de la dueña y nosotros pudimos gestionar la resolución. El problema fue que coincidió en Domingo y por eso se retrasó la solución del problema de suministro de gas y técnico de una caldera.

Vivienda muy completa.Dispone de todo tipo de detalles.La zona es muy tranquila, se aparca bien y estás al lado del Garona y cerca de acceso a sendas para hacer rutas.El único “pero” es que la habitación de las literas y la de al lado de la sala de juegos son incómodas , tienes que atravesar una para acceder a la otro o si no quieres molestar a las literas salir a la calle y acceder desde la sala de juegos.

Logement très agréable

Tout est fait pour se sentir bien. Logement très propre, très bien pensé. Les chambres et les lits sont grands, chacune a sa salle de bain. Beaucoup de détails qui font penser que nous sommes comme chez nous. Immense véranda et terrasse, il n'y manquait que la table de jardin. Ce logement est aussi très bien situé dans Vielha tout est accessible à 5 min à pied, bar, boulangerie, piscine... En famille ou entre amis, c'est sûr que nous reviendrons. La propriétaire a été à notre écoute tout le long du séjour. Merci pour toutes vos attentions. A bientôt

The property was perfect for our group lots of space so we could relax before and after our race. It was in a central position to get to the finish area and to restaurants etc.. But also incredibly quiet. It would perhaps be good to have some information in English at the property . But otherwise we were very happy with our stay.

Great place to stay for skiing at Baqueira

9 people stayed in this large house. It was well furnished and had everything you would need for a weeks holiday. The house was warm and had a well equipped kitchen and large communal lounge area. The town of Vielha was fabulous with good bars and restaurants in walking distance. The skiing resort of Baqueira-Beret is a 20 minute drive. The skiing is brilliant. Recommend parking at Orri or Beret. We’d like to thank the owner, Maitena. She was prompt in her communication and very helpful. Great holiday.

Mucho mejor que lo que se ve en las fotos. salón impresionante, habitaciones perfectas, baños fabulosos... Pero el salon de la terraza y la terraza ... sin palabras, los adronos, la iluminacion... todo perfecto. (solo pondria un sofa en la otra casa, ... por decir algo. Muchas Gracias.

Brilliant size and location

Pros: loads of comfortable seating inside and out. Well supplied with utensils, crockery, glasses etc. Games room was fun. Despite cons below (which are mostly housekeeping issues) we had a fabulous stay and really enjoyed Vielha and the Val d'Aran Cons: the apartment could have been a lot cleaner. The bathrooms and floors hadn't been cleaned very well and our bathroom did not have any toilet paper or a bin. Not good when we arrived on a public holiday and all the shops were shut. Luckily the other bathrooms did have paper. A lot of the lighting required new bulbs and the lamps in our bedroom had no bulb and a dead bulb. The smell of cigarette smoke in the side with the games room was very strong which took a few days to dissipate. There were stick air fresheners left around the place, but the synthetic smell was so overpowering we had to take them outside. The internet didn't work for the first half of our stay either and when it did start to work (after a reboot somewhere outside the apartment) it cut out a lot. It also only worked in one side of the accommodation, so the side with the two double rooms, kitchen and dining area is actually without an internet connection. We couldn't turn the central heating on as there were no instructions and as it turned out the batteries that controlled the system were depleted. Finally, the owner lives in France and employs a Spanish caretaker. Neither could speak English though this language is listed on the Homeaway site. We spoke enough basic Spanish to communicate so it wasn't a problem for us, but may be for visitors who have booked this accommodation expecting to talk in English.

A home from home....worth every penny.

What can I say.....the house is beautiful, clean and well appointed. Lots of room and some nice touches, it feels like you've walked into someone's house not a Villa that's being let out. For the motorcycle community, the surrounding roads are to die for. All the bikes have secure parking behind an automated gate. Well worth a visit....... Thanks Maitena for the great location, I'll definitely return in the future.

Un apartamento "Gourmand"

Precioso apartamento, amplio y lleno de detalles que hizo nuestra estancia en Vielha inolvidable. La situación es excepcional dado que está muy cerca del centro pero alejado del bullicio de coches y gente propio de este mes de agosto. El apartamento está compuesto de dos casas unidas por un precioso jardín. Es decir, tienes dos cocinas, dos comedores y un sin fin de habitaciones. Todo ello está perfectamente conjuntado por un pasillo acristalado en el jardín que consigue crear un maravilloso conjunto. Si en agosto es bonito, en invierno debe ser alucinante. Además hay que añadir una sala de juegos con billar y futbolín donde pasamos muy buenos ratos. Maitena, muchas gracias por toda tu ayuda. Nos lo hemos pasado muy bien toda la familia.

IMPRESIONANTE CASA

Nosotros fuimos 12 personas desde el Sur de España, en concreto desde Sevilla, y las expectativas que teníamos sobre el Valle de Aran y la casa eran grandes. Pues bien, nuestras expectativas se han visto colmadas con creces. Precioso el valle, la casa es increíble, muy grande y espaciosa, pensada única y exclusivamente para que sus huéspedes se encuentren en lo más parecido al paraíso, en la que no falta ni un solo detalle y con una decoración exclusiva Yo la recomiendo 100 X 100. Gracias Maitena Soulier y Paquita por hacernos inmensamente felices con "el chalet ". No nos importaría cruzar el país para regresar de nuevo a este acogedor hogar y estoy convencido de que volveremos.......hasta pronto!!!!! 😍😍😍😍😍
