Lucie and I have lived in Ontario, Quebec, British Colombia in Canada most of our lives and few years in Texas and Florida. Lucie was previously involved with Immigration and I with Air Traffic Services and Training. As often happens, we also came to Costa Rica on a vacation and immediately fell in love with the people, the nature, the country…and decided to put a foot down. When we first viewed Villa Tucan Tango, we were immediately “wowed” with the vibrant colours, the open, expansive rooms, the incredible, tropical property and 270 degree views of the mountains, jungle and Pacific Ocean. We also saw great potential for further development. And so it began. We just finished construction of a 1200 sq ft deck and more outdoor living areas, wrapped around the leading edge of the infinity pool, along with a 900 sq ft games/movie room, gym and bar with wine cellar. Our two garden ensuite bedrooms are now available and the kitchen renovation will be finished in October 2022. Villa Tucan Tango is a 4,200 sq ft luxury retreat located in west, central Costa Rica, only 5 minutes by car to the Pacific Ocean and tropical beaches of Dominicalito Bay. This 2 acre, tropical paradise is located in a small, private, secure gated community and is nestled into the mountainside at an elevation of 350 feet. From several locations in the villa you will enjoy breathtaking, front row views of the jungle canopy, mountains and ocean including absolutely stunning sunsets. The property is adjacent to the biological corridor where wildlife such as the Tapir can safely pass. You will have a variety of exotic birds such as colourful Toucans or be entertained by a troop of white-faced Capuchin monkeys, including mothers with their babies. This area is called Las Escaleras, where the mountains meet the ocean and where you can experience the real Costa Rica and still be near services and live in a luxury home.

We pride ourselves to provide assistance 24/7 during your vacation and make sure that you are well prepared before traveling. The owner and the property manager are available to assist you with arranging a private driver service, airport shuttle, a local chef, booking rental car, activities, massage therapist or surfing lessons. An activity schedule will be drafted according to your wishes and transportation will be booked in your name with delivery option to the villa. Our chef also offers a bar or grocery delivery service. Housekeeping is available upon request at an additional fee. Throughout your vacation, the property manager checks on the property and guests to ensure that everything is going smoothly. Our activity coordinator can book and coordinate activities in the area such as paragliding, ATV quad tours, snorkeling and fishing, bird watching tours, waterfalls, horseback riding on the beach, surfing lessons, zipline canopy tours, yoga instructor, Spanish guitarist, in-house massages, etc. Nacho, our property manager, is also an experienced chef, bartender and owns a shuttle service company.
