Amandari is a 4 bedroom villa set in a peaceful and idyllic location with breath taking views over the Mahaweli river valley. Only 5 km away from the fabulous Peradeniya Gardens, it can accommodate up to 8 guests in 4 spacious, well-appointed bedrooms and offers living and dining spaces, a modern kitchen, a library/game/TV room and generous panoramic terraces. The total floor area of the villa is 3,500 sq. ft.

The magnificent views open to the Mahaweli River valley and stretch all the way to the central mountain region where in clear days the famous Adam’s Peak can be admired. This is an oasis of tranquillity, the perfect retreat where to unwind under the gentle breeze of the cooler climate of this part of the Kandy region. The magnificence of the blue skies during the day is followed by dramatic sunsets and an incredibly bright mantle of stars at night. Yet the property, with its wonderful sense of isolation and integration with the wilderness is just few yards away from public transport and the facilities of the local village.

The entire property,villa and gardens, are for the exclusive use of our guests.
Facilities are: Satellite TV, games, DVD films, books, piano, free WIFI throughout the property.
Bed linen and towels are provided for all rooms.
Smoking is not permitted inside the house but there are no restrictions concerning the outdoor spaces.

Please note that in the Villa there is not accommodation available for drivers.
Breakfast, lunch or dinner are available on demand. Barbecue facilities are also available.
Breakfast can be served either as traditional Sri-Lanka style or as English breakfast. Details and prices can be forwarded on request.
