We were looking forward to a wonderful mountain vacation.. Although our wishes for a white Christmas came true, our excitement diminished Christmas eve when the outside weather hit 7 degrees F, and the house's heater did not work! We had to endure 47 degrees F in the house for a number of hours. Jim, the property manager, came immediately to check out the problem and called a service technician to resolve the issue. The problem was fixed, but it wasn't until 12 and a half hours later that the temperature in the house increased to a favorable level of 68 degrees F. Unfortunately for my husband, he caught a cold as a result.
As if that incident wasn't enough to damper our holidays, a fuse in the master bedroom blew out! This situation left us without electricity in some areas of the room. Jim came to the house soon after our call, but the main switch could not be located and we had to wait for the technician to arrive the following day.
Overall, great house, great location, great views and great service, we just had some bad luck.
