Eric and his group left the cabin and property very tidy. Followed check out instructions. Any host should accept his bookings, I certainly would enjoy having him back!

Great Cottage

The house was clean, cove was quiet and Donna was very friendly and helpful. Love the fact we had a slip onsite. Great place would stay here again!

Great location with enclosed boat dock.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Ruby. The cove was a great quiet location. We really enjoyed the enclosed dock to keep our boat in during our stay. Look forward to booking this house again in the future.

I have met some amazing families as a host, and they are ranked high in my esteem. Melissa and her family has been here on several occasions. They are always a joy to have on the property, as the cabin is left VERY tidy! Always ready to host Melissa, Travis and family/friends!

We come back every year

Donna is a wonderful host and we love having the dock to hang out on. The cabin is well equipped and there is ample parking for boat trailers with a ramp just down the road. We love staying at Donna’s place!

Relaxing Getaway

This was our second stay and we enjoyed it just as much as our first. Perfect place to dock the boat. Kids enjoyed fishing and kayaking. It’s peaceful and relaxing. Looking forward to another visit in a couple of weeks.

Family Fun Getaway

We had such a great time with our family on the lake! The cottage was very clean and well equipped as was the indoor dock we used to keep our boat. The boat ramp was very close and everything was in a great location! My kids loved the kayak and paddle boat that was there for us to use. We were made to feel very welcome during our stay and we can’t wait to go back!

Always a Treat

We’ve stayed multiple times. A small boat ramp is very close and it makes it easy to handle bringing our boat. Great location and dock. The house has everything we need. It’s perfect for a weekend getaway. When we aren’t on the boat kids like to fish off the dock. It’s a great place to stay

Great Stay

We had a weekend planned for our son’s birthday but it rained for weeks leading up to the trip. The lake was in bad shape with a lot of debris in the coves, but with the pedal boat we were able to make it to the dock and go out on our boat. Despite the high waters we enjoyed the stay. The house is well equipped for anything we need. We always love our stays at the Ruby!

Great place,

The location and the owner were perfect. Donna was great during the entire process. The cabin could use some minor tweaks: shower head was plugged with sediment, no bathroom window covering with direct view to neighbors, needs curtains in the bedroom (security light right outside) But the property was ideally located and the dock is wonderful. Would recommend.

Our Home away from Home

We have lost count the times we have stayed here. We do know we were unable to come in 2023 due to other events going on and we sure missed it. This has become our home away from home and look forward to more stays here. On the 4th our grands were able to join us for a day in the water just chilling on floats by the dock. We love this location and Donna has become a family friend. Extremely responsive and quick to reply to messages.

Lake getaway
