Monteleone Sabino vacation rentals

The apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The terrace had a spectacular view and was perfect for breakfast or for a glass of wine in the evening. We loved the little town with its steep cobbled streets. We enjoyed walking to the trattoria on the square for morning coffee, and we were able to get basic supplies, including bread and milk, at the little shop there. Our host responded immediately to questions and was very helpful.

Stayed at this beauty property our last night before flying home. It is beautiful and spacious. The owners welcomed us. Wish we had more time to enjoy this home.

We enjoyed our stay very much, Eduardo was very friendly, and helpt is with all questions. Poggio Mirteto is a small village, with nice people, and good places to eat and drink. We loved to come back agian.

Everything about this property was as advertised or better. Michela was a perfect host--responsive, helpful, and not at all intrusive. The location is very private and very quiet yet less than an hour to downtown Rome. Three distinct outdoor seating areas and two inside mean that there is a place to be for every occasion. The spaces inside and out are just wonderful. The outdoor kitchen is fantastic. We had the grill going every other night. The large second refrigerator in the laundry area was a godsend, as we kept it full of food and beverages and could do large shops at the grocery to keep our teen age boys fed. Fresh eggs from the resident chickens were a lovely surprise! Casaprota and Collelungo are charming ancient towns, well worth a walk around. Note that the bakery in Casaprota is actually pretty well stocked for basics for such a tiny store. All in all, an excellent place to both unwind and relax as well as discover the Sabine hills. We hope to return!

We had a very relaxing stay. Short drive to bars, restaurants and shops. Lots to do in the Lazio area, but just as great to chill out at the Villa. Thanks Adrian!

This was the best holiday home we have ever stayed in in Italy. Large and beautiful garden which was very well kept, crystal clear pool and a stunning view. Kitchen and laundry are equipped with all necessities. The only drawback we can think of is the weak wi-fi as it only reached certain parts of the house, but maybe that’s what’s best for a holiday. We also thought that a private tennis court was a great bonus. Special thanks to our hosts Daniela and Maurizio. They where always around to help. We will certainly come back.

La Meridiana in Oliveto is a peaceful, beautiful haven. The house is distinctive and contains everything that it is possible to need for a wonderful holiday. Split into three parts it is gives many possibilities and as a party of six we used the three large, comfortable bedrooms in the house plus the bedroom in the annex which is close enough to feel part of the main group but also a place where one could have some time away from the family. We played table tennis by the annex which was a lot of fun. The kitchen is well equipped although not very large. We like cooking and enjoyed the fact that there were plenty of pans and fridge space. It was a delight to have help with the cleaning for 4 hours a day and consequently we spent a lot of time in the very large and clean infinity pool. As it was particularly hot we did not venture far into the local area. The main town is Rieti which contains the usual shops and little boutique areas, it is not especially attractive but there is an exceptional gelato shop! Playing tennis in 38C sun is not to be recommended but we had a go and even though the tennis court is not pristine it was a lovely bonus. Having visited Tuscany and Umbria many times we thought that the scenery was very similar and quite stunning in parts but there did not seem to be so many little welcoming villages but perhaps that is a plus as it is not too ‘touristy’. As with most large villas there was a bumpy track but as seasoned travellers we expected that and were not put off although it did not work well with the people carrier that we had hired! The family and staff were very helpful in every respect. We had a brilliant holiday, loved the house and hope to return!
