Our families have been in the Eastern North Carolina area for over 100 years and we love all our state has to offer. From the mountains to the sea we enjoy the people and places that make NC so unique. We spend lots of time outside year around and especially on the rivers and creeks around Belhaven. We're huge fans of music and we love supporting local restaurants and businesses. We have one daughter and live full time in the Raleigh, NC area but are at our home in Belhaven on a regular basis.
Why they chose this property
We purchased this property because we love Belhaven, the laid back river lifestyle, and we have a long family history in the area. We also wanted to have plenty of space for family, friends and visitors when they come visit Belhaven.
What makes this property unique
We love old houses and were thrilled to find this jewel. The main house is over 125 years old and features amazing craftsmanship such as original hardwood floors, claw foot tubs, crown molding push button light switches and two large porches. The porches provide a great place to relax on the swings and rocking chairs. Located in a quiet neighborhood, we're close to everything in town by bicycle, walking or car. The guest quarters are newer but have repurposed features such as stairwells, doors and windows that were salvaged out of other homes in town. The property can easily host a small or large group with plenty of space for everyone to spread out. Belhaven is a special place and we're happy to own this amazing property and share it with our visitors.
