Kätevässä ja hallitsevassa asemassa Villa Kahili on rakennettu ja sitä ylläpidetään vaativimmalle tasolle. Tämä tilava ja yksityinen huvila sijaitsee upeiden Taurus-vuorten taustalla, ja siitä on upeat esteetön näköala lahdelle ja saarille.
Huomattavien huonekokojen, kauniisti sisustetun huvilan tunnelma on kevyt ja ilmava. Mahtuu kuusi ihmistä tyylikkäästi. Siinä on keisarikokoinen makuuhuone kylpyhuoneella varustetulla nykyaikaisella kylpyhuoneella, kahden hengen huone, kylpyhuoneella varustettu kahden hengen huone ja alakerrassa iso king-size-makuuhuone ja suihkuhuone. Kaikissa huoneissa on parveke tai terassi, ja niistä on esteettömät merinäköalat.
Täysin varusteltu avokeittiö vieressä on tilava oleskelutila, joka johtaa terassille, joka saa aurinkoa koko päivän. Ääretön uima-allas sijaitsee maisemoiduissa puutarhoissa, joissa on varjostettu pergola. Beautiful Villa

We had a wonderful holiday in Kalkan. The beautiful villa was very clean and comfortable. Our grandchildren spent hours in the lovely pool. Only down side to the location is the very steep walk down to the town, no problem coming back, a taxi costs 35tl, less than £2 and so easy to call.

Great Place to Stay in Kalkan!

Our family with three kids under 10yrs had a fantastic stay at Villa Kahili! Check-in was quick and easy, the villa was spotless, every amenity we had need for was available and easy to find (including kid-friendly dinnerware!), and the location was perfect (a short, 5-minute drive from the quaint and beautiful town of Kalkan, as well as restaurants and grocery stores, etc.). The view, especially from the terrace, is breathtaking! As much as we enjoyed eating out in Kalkan, our favourite meals were takeaway dinners on the terrace at sunset. The pool, of-course, was another highlight, especially for the kids. The only problem was that our stay was too short :). We eagerly look forward to coming back and staying at Villa Kahili again.

A Short break

This was an excellent location. It was close to the town and restaurants. The villa is is lovely, spacious and very comfortable. There was a good WiFi connection too when needed. A great place to stay and relax and a place to which we will happily return.

Amazing Villa, more than we had hoped for!

We stayed here for two weeks with our two children at this beautiful villa. It was just perfect, well kept and large. The views were so pretty and it was a quiet location within walking distance to all the lovely restaurants. We were so happy with this villa and it was definitely more than we had expected, facilities were great and the pool surroundings were private and pretty. Sheila was great and got back to us really quickly on transfers and any other queries we had. Would definitely recommend this villa to others!

DELIGHTFUL VILLA

Beautiful gardens and pool. All facilities provided for. Well kept comfortable villa and very clean..Location very nice with spectacular view over Kalkan bay. Could do with a light next to outside key safe as this is hard to see in the dark. Road outside villa can be very noisy due to passing traffic and very steep to walk. Roads down t o town very steep although this is typical of Kalkan you can easy find quick routes down. Taxis back to villa very cheap so no problem. Close local shops about 5mins walk. We have been in love with Kalkan for 4years and never disappointed Kalkan town is a lovely place easy to relax and enjoy lots of super restraunts bars and shops to wind away the evening .

Villa Kahili is the perfect place for a relaxing holiday

I can thoroughly recommend Villa Kahili with its amazing views, very well equipped, the location is ideal - nice and quiet but not far from town - bit of a hill to get back but then so is everywhere in Kalkan!! Garden and pool area is lovely and private - bedrooms amazing (especially master suite) - will definitely return.

Beautiful villa

Wonderful Villa

Thank you Sheila for letting us stay in your wonderful Villa Kahili. This was the best villa we have ever stayed in, lots of space, tastefully decorated, good location, fantastic outside space and pool. A 10-15 min walk down to the harbour, less to nearest shops and restaurants, a steep hill so for me a taxi back to the villa after the evening meal 10-12tl. We hired a car for convenience but local transport is very good and a car is not essential. Sheila arranged transport to and from the airport and hire car, this was very helpful and everything went perfectly. Cleaners come twice a week, pool/outside cleaned daily, all lovely people, polite, friendly and unobtrusive. Kalkan is a lovely town, the villa perfect; we didn’t want to leave and hope to return. Two weeks of relaxing in a lovely location.

Lovely villa with a great pool ideal for family of 5

Beautiful villa Kahili is situated close to the centre of Kalkan - the restaurants and bars are in walking distance however you might want to get a cab back as the walk is uphill on the way home. The villa has a good size infinity pool situated in a well kept garden with lots of plants and flowers along with a shaded patio area - great for lunch and a break from the hot Kalkan sun. We would definitely use Villa Kahili again - it is a superb villa.

Relaxing stay

Loved the villa- great location and very relaxing. Only 10 minutes away from town which as numerous shops and beautiful restaurants. However if you want to have a night in the kitchen has all the necessary equipment to cook a 5 star meal, alternatively you can give a BBQ a spin. Can't wait to stay again next year.

Great villa with stunning views

Loved the villa. Great views and lovely to relax by the pool on the sun loungers. If you a sun worshiper- you are able to get the sun from sunrise to sunset. The villa has various books and magazine to read by the pool, and if you want a night in you can just watch a DVD and cook a lovely meal. The town is 10 minutes away from the villa and has numerous restaurants and shops- you will be spoilt for choice. Can't wait to go back.

Great place for a holiday!

Lovely,luxurious villa. Very well appointed inside.The attractive garden and pool have an idyllic setting with a shaded area for alfresco dining. The view over Kalkan to the sea is amazing. The property is spotlessly clean and well maintained. There are many restaurants to enjoy,nearby.

Turkish delight!

A beautiful villa with fabulous views, ideally located minutes from the village of Kalkan. Everything is perfectly maintained and spotlessly clean inside and out, with great attention to detail. We enjoyed returning to this calm oasis set in a delightful garden, swimming in the pristine pool and relaxing on the sun loungers, after a busy day out exploring. I can thoroughly recommend a stay here and look forward to my next visit!

WONDERFUL VILLA

Villa Kahili is a real gem, plenty of room plus generous outside space too, and very clean. An easy walk down to the town and Kalkan beach. Our teenage sons made the most of the pool, we ate outside in the evenings, and enjoyed a glorious 2 weeks relaxing. Would thoroughly recommend this home to anyone looking at staying in Kalkan. The owners are also extremely helpful and accommodating, going the extra mile to make your holiday run smoothly. We really hope to come back again in the future.

Awesome quality of accommodation and facilities

My wife and I have just returned from Kalkan and a stay at Villa Kahili. We read all the reviews before booking and the only criticism we could find was the lack of hooks behind doors. Well, I can report that this has been remedied - there is no shortage of hooks! The existing 5 Star reviews are accurate. This is a splendid villa with spectacular views across Kalkan Bay and beyond. The downside of the splendid views is of course the walk to and from the village, but I am 64 and had no difficulty. It is no more than a 10 minute walk down to the village, maximum 15 minutes to the harbour, and taxis are plentiful if you want to take the short ride back up the hill. A hire car is only required if you wish to explore further afield. Sheila organised private airport transfers on our behalf, and car hire is available from the same company, or others, if required. The accommodation can only be described as luxurious. We have rented various villas and apartments across Europe but Villa Kahili is easily of the highest standard we have found. The two "smaller" bedrooms are in fact very generously sized; the double bedroom on the ground floor has an adjacent toilet and shower and direct access to the pool terrace while the twin bedroom on the first floor has en-suite toilet and shower facilities and private balcony. The master bedroom is palatial and I defy anyone not to experience the "wow" factor each time they enter. It also has a private balcony and stunning en-suite facilities This is a beautifully bright and well presented property with easily controlled and effective air conditioning if it is required. The kitchen is very well equipped, and all three bath and shower rooms have been completely refurbished for this season. They are fabulous. Only now, as I write this review, do I realise that there was never any shortage of hot water - we have regularly experienced such shortages elsewhere in both Greece and Turkey. We'll be back to Kahili and I have no hesitation in recommending the property to others. I do not ordinarily write reviews, but this property is extraordinary and deserves a 'thank you'.

Beautiful villa in a relaxing location!

Thankyou ever so much for letting us use your villa, it was fabulous!! Kalkan and the villa are such a beautiful place! You will be pleased to know everything ran smoothly. The transfer was there, pool cleaned everyday (sometimes twice) and the cleaners came! It was all very well maintained and wonderful facilities. We enjoyed days by the pool looking out to the sea. We had a trip to the gorge and waded through to the waterfall. Caught the dolmus to patara beach and spent the afternoon there. Enjoyed a turkish bath behind the yali supermarket (surprising how nice it is inside as its hidden)! Our favourite trip had to be the boat trip, we took your advice and went with Moby Dick. The food was fantastic and we enjoyed all the bays for a swim. Our favourite restaurants have to be aubergine, kalkan kebap and alternatif! We also went to Belkin's kitchen where you can sit on cushions on the roof terrace, we enjoyed the experience rather than the food. Spoilt for choice really and we couldn't resit using the barbecue so we brought our ingredients and spices from the Thursday Market and made some kebabs! The weather was perfect, not too hot and a nice breeze. We had a strange day on Wednesday when there were some strong winds in the evening and that caused some entertainment in the restaurant!! It was a bit cloudy during the late afternoon but that cleared up by the evening. I think our only regret is perhaps hiring a car and then seeing a little more of the ruins and history of the place. Would love to visit again!

Villa Kahili: Best Villa in Kalkan

We stayed at Villa Kahili for one week at the end of August 2012 and had an amazing time there. Kalkan is a great little find, full of character and charm. The villa sits atop the hill overlooking the town and has great views from the roof terrace out across the bay to enjoy the wonderful sunsets. The villa is spacious, very clean and tidy with lovely touches like the whirlpool bath, outdoor dining areas and multiple balconies looking out to sea. The private pool and sun patio area are by far the stand-out features. The pool is maintained (daily) to a beautiful clean cool standard and perfect for when it gets too hot! And don't worry about the famous walk back up the hill, it is a bit of a climb but it's not so bad if you take it nice and slow - and great exercise. If it's too much then, like everyone else has said, you can jump in a cab for a few lira. Sheila was a very accommodating host and helped make everything very easy and relaxed, ensuring we had the best holiday imaginable. Staying at Villa Kahili made our holiday in Turkey the perfect getaway, something we will remember forever. Thanks again, James and Ottilie

Spacious Attractive Villa with Stunning Sea Views.

We had a lovely week in this well designed fully equipped villa. The outside area for eating and relaxing is superb and so enjoyable surrounded by the colourful flowers and shrubs.The midweek clean, and change of sheets and towels was excellent and so unusual for just a one week stay.The garden/pool man was very friendly and tidied and cleaned outside daily, but was not intrusive. We discovered Kalkan four years ago and love its friendly people, interesting shops and great selection of restaurants. The nice thing is you can plan the holiday according to your requirements.You can relax and enjoy the pool and beach or if you feel more energetic there are many activities available to try.To go further afield its easy to hire a car and go off the beaten track to see and experience the remote village life. We would certainly recommend this villa to friends and family.

Spacious Villa in a great location

Villa Kahili is even better than photos would indicate . We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & wouldn't hesitate to return It is very well maintained & clean with very tasteful decor . All the rooms are of considerable size with all mod cons. It is in a good location with a short walk into town though take taxi( £4) back as hill back up to the villa is fairly steep. It is also very close to the bus station which enabled us to use very cheap Dolmus(minibus) to explore. We visited town of Kas & Patara beach which are well worth a trip Sheila the owner couldn't have been more helpful & delightful to deal with. There is a comprehensive guide to the villa which we found very useful. The best restaurant (by some distance)visited was called Sade which has only just opened & is located near the top of high street in the town. Best for kebabs was Hunkar Ocabusi.

Superb!

Our first visit to Turkey and we were not disappointed. A beautiful country with lovely people only made better by our superb accommodation. This fabulous and roomy villa is very much a home from home with every available convenience. The very large master bedroom with its own bathroom both of which have magnificent views of the bay of Kalkan was a joy to wake up in. Sitting around the pool surrounded by the lovely gardens was relaxation personified. The weather in early June was perfect for us – hot enough to enjoy dipping in and out of the pool but not so hot to make it uncomfortable. Kalkan itself, a mere 10-15 minutes stroll away, has an abundance of restaurants to choose from – I think you could go to a different one every evening for a year. Each of the ones we chose was excellent with the staff taking the utmost care of my elderly mother. The trip in the “taxi” up to the hilltop restaurant was an experience and certainly provided an interesting tale to tell back home. My teenage daughter is hankering to return next year for two weeks. I can understand how she feels. We will definitely be returning!
