Hiking and cycling around Foix

The house is in the suburban area of ​​the house in a quiet area with a large garden and a super closed yard. The apartment is in the attic, clean, quiet and comfortable. On the ground floor there is a large kitchen dining room where we got a fresh and very delicious breakfast every morning. Home jam is fantastic. There is also a summer kitchen in the yard that is well equipped, everything you need. The car can be parked in the yard, right in front of the house.The hosts are very friendly, kind and helpful. The city center is close to approx. 10 minutes walk. There are many cycling in the area. We had a good time, we can only recommend it. La maison est dans la banlieue de la maison dans une zone calme avec un grand jardin et une cour super fermée. L'appartement est dans le grenier, propre, calme et confortable. Au rez-de-chaussée, il y a une grande salle à manger de cuisine où nous avons pris un petit-déjeuner frais et très délicieux tous les matins. La confiture à domicile est fantastique. Il y a aussi une cuisine d'été dans la cour bien équipée, tout ce dont vous avez besoin. La voiture peut être garée dans la cour, juste en face de la maison. Les hôtes sont très sympathiques, gentils et serviables. Le centre-ville est proche d'env. 10 minutes à pied. Il y a beaucoup de vélo dans la région. Nous avons passé un bon moment, nous ne pouvons que le recommander.

Sehr empfehlenswert

Sehr netter Empfang, schönes sauberes Zimmer, wundervolle Umgebung, sehr ruhig, großer Garten zum Relaxen mit Blick auf die Berge, viele Wandermöglichkeiten und gute Zuganbindung in die Pyrenäen und nach Toulouse. Die Höhlen Lombrieves und Niaux mit Zug und kleinem Fußweg, 1 h, sind auch gut zu erreichen. Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen!

Great location to tour a restored medieval castle and take drives through the Pyrenees

Great location to tour a restored medieval castle and take drives through the Pyrenees! The castle is amazing and in very good condition. We took drives up to the Pyrenees the office of tourism recommended which we highly suggest you visit first it’s easy to find right in the main center. Breakfast was delicious every morning with yogurt and grains, and fresh homemade jams and fresh breads plus orange juice. The hosts do not speak English but we got along and everything we needed just fine!

Accueil chaleureux, chambre coquette et salle d'eau nickel. Petit-déjeuner raffiné. Tout était parfait. Les gestes barrières parfaitement respectés, nous nous sommes sentis en confiance et n'hésiterons pas à revenir. Merci à Max et Sylvie.

Superbe hébergement !

Ne venant que pour une nuit (et pas des meilleures puisque examen le lendemain), je regrette de n’avoir pu profiter pleinement de cet hébergement. Les propriétaires sont très gentils et arrangeant. La chambre est superbe et nickel de même que la salle de bain. J’y ai passé une très bonne soirée. Tout est fait pour que l’on s’y sente bien, que ce soit avec les petites surprises dans la chambre où au petit déjeuner, tout est pensé pour un confort optimale. Je recommande énormément cet hébergement ! Encore merci à vous deux ;)

I'll deffo stay again!!

A 25 min walk from the railway station, I knew this and it's all a gentle rise. Very friendly couple who know as little English as I know French yet we communicated fine. My room was on the second floor which along with adjacent bathroom was 'my' area. I didn't think I'd paid for breakfast but was provided with a nice range: baguette & croissant, preserves (the fig one from their own garden), tub of yogurt and of sweet apple sauce, orange juice, coffee and hot milk. I'll deffo stay again. And Foix castle and the old town beneath it are out of Walt Disney (that is intended as a compliment)
