The "Botticelli" apartment by WP Relais is located on the "piano nobile", the main floor of the residence, and is split over two levels with accommodation for up to 6 people. The lower level offers a large living room with an open-plan kitchen and a guest bathroom. A wooden staircase leads to the upper level, where there are two bedrooms, decorated in delicate shades of sage and bright yellow, each with a unique atmosphere. Two large windows offer a view of the charming streets of the city centre, highlighting the coffered ceiling with shades of blue, typical of late 17th-century Florence.

This apartment was clean and in a great location. There is a bus stop right outside the door which made it a bit loud at night, but we used a white noise app and were able to sleep.

The apartment was amazing - clean, great location, very comfortable. Our host was incredibly helpful and responsive! We honestly loved this place. Cannot recommend enough, truly a great place to stay in Florence.

Location cannot be beat

An excellent location, first and foremost. A beautiful building as well; we loved falling asleep looking up at the ceiling frescos. Clean, quiet despite the busy street downstairs, and perfect for a family of 3 adults. Bonus points for 2 hairdryers! Just caution to those who are not able to handle stairs- it’s a long stairwell up and the stairs within the apartment are not for the faint of heart. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Great stay

Great location. 10 minute or less stroll to everything you want to see in Florence. Nice place. Ceilings are amazing! Only thing not expected was the 2 bedrooms are open to the floor below like a loft. But we adapted, no big concern! Host was great. Quickly in touch whenever we had questions.

Florence for Foodies

Our stay in Florence was spectacular. This apartment was centrally located and we were able to walk and see everything we wanted to see. There were some terrific restaurants only steps away! The apartment is quite old and was not great for older adults (we are all in our 70s). There are two flights of stairs up to the apartment and, once inside, the stairs to the bedrooms are very old and require extra caution going up and down. The upstairs shower did not drain well, and you had to turn the water on and off in short bursts in order to avoid flooding the floor. Other than that, the beds were comfortable, and the apartment was adequately stocked for four people. Be aware that, if traveling with friends, the bedrooms are not very private. They are both lofts and the walls do not reach the ceiling.

Wonderful home away from home in the heart of Florence!

This was my second time at this amazing place! It is spacious, perfectly located and the coffered ceilings and amazing architecture is a truly unique experience. Plenty of hot water and luxurious towels and extremely comfortable beds! Our hosts were very easy to reach and lovely to communicate with. We highly recommend this for a family stay.

Great location in a fabulous city. we walked everywhere.... The unit was clean... a little dark....could use a little more lighting but that is probably a problem anywhere in a medieval city....pack lightly as you have to go up stairs...and it is like that in most vrbos in the area. easy to communicate with....overall...we enjoyed every minute.

A Lovely Apartment in an Excellent Location

We loved the authentically Florentine feel of this place. It was spacious with big windows, great height (that stunning ceiling); the loft bedrooms only enhanced the sense of space. Our late check-in was smooth and simple with digital entry and clear instructions sent prior to arrival. We enjoyed a very comfortable stay within walking distance of everything we’d hoped to see. Would certainly recommend to friends and family.

Beautiful Old Apartment with Character

I fell in love with the "old world" feel of this apartment and the way it was decorated. I had read reviews about the sewer smell (some mentioned it and others didn't). The sewer smell was definitely in the stairwell and hallway but luckily not the apartment. The description says that 6 people could fit but I would stick to a max of 4. One of the sofas was turned into a twin bed which left a very old, uncomfortable couch and a small chair for seating (as well as the kitchen table). We loved having 2 full bathrooms for 5 people. There are no instructions for running the dishwasher and washer/dryer unit. Never did figure out the dryer! While the location is great in terms of restaurants, shopping and attractions, it was very noisy. There is a bus stop just below the window outside and the busses run often. The owners were so responsive and any questions were answered right away. Overall it was a nice stay and we loved our time in Florence! What a gorgeous city!

Perfect spot for a 5-6 people!

We loved everything about this place - great location, outstanding architecture and a very easy experience. It worked well for our family, including our three daughters: 23, 20 and 18. Word of advice - bring some additional shampoo and soap if you are staying for more than a day or so. Also, there is no clothes dryer in the unit, but they do have a large drying rack which worked well. Thanks again for a great experience!

Authentic!

It is in a great location in Florence. Loved the cozy feel of the flat. decor and remodel made it feel like we were at a friends home. Some noise from the streets until late hours but drinking wine helped tune it out. Would recommend it to friends for sure. So clean and owners were accessible for help if we needed them.

Perfect home perfect location

We stayed in September 2022. We were two couples and this two bedroom suited as perfectly. The house was clean and centrally located to most of the major Florence sites. The home was beautifully appointed very clean and very safe, and really was just beautiful. The host had great communication with us. A keyless entry system was fantastic!

Ideal location

The apartment is ideally located in a relatively quiet neighborhood. Great restaurants and shopping all within walking distance - historic sites as well. The apartment was very clean & roomy. The kitchen fit our needs for breakfast & snacks. The A/C worked very well. The owner helped with our entry to the apartment from her remote connection and after that we figured out how use the app although once in, there were actual keys. I recommend this apartment for your next visit to Florence.

Fabulous in Firenze!

This apartment was perfect for us! It is just as described. We wanted something authentic Florence and for that it cannot be beat. It is an old and beautiful building with gorgeous detail. Everything was spotless upon our arrival, which made the last review perplexing. Communication was spot on and our stay was completely seamless. Pietro was very accommodating. The location was also wonderful. We even walked from the train station and other than going out to Tuscany for wine tasting, didn't need transportation other than our feet!

BEWARE. Do not stay here.

I stayed at the property from April 19th - April 23rd 2022. To say we were disappointed would be an understatement. I was travelling with my husband and four children (ages 11, 10, 9, and 7). The location of the property is as described. It is very close to the Ponte Vecchio, and walking distance to many of the main sites of Florence. The apartment itself was just horrible. The bathrooms were beyond disgusting (see photos), and there was black mold growing above the windows in the main living space (see photos). On the first night, we attempted to make dinner for our family. Note that the kitchen does not have an oven, only a microwave and a stovetop. We tried to boil water to make pasta, but the stovetop would not function. I contacted the owner, and did not hear back until the next day. She said they sent someone over to fix it, and that a "switch" was flipped from the renters before us. In short, she blamed someone else for the problem. We again attempted to make dinner for our family. The cooktop still did not work. I reached out several times to the owner before she responded and said they would send someone to fix it. She then told me that they had just purchased this new stovetop (a very different story from the "switch" that was flipped by the previous renters). A man came to fix the stovetop that evening. When he was there, the power went off to the entire building twice. After he left, the power went off to the entire building again. All as a result of this "new" cooktop. Needless to say, we were never able to cook a meal and two of our evenings were ruined. We were also out our grocery bills.....plus the meals we had to go find for our family of six when the kitchen did not function as promised. When I addressed the filthy bathrooms and the mold in the apartment, Gaia (the owner), told me that the apartment was just "old". If you look at the photos, you can see that the showers are actually newer. They are inserts that are absolutely not original to the apartment. Also, old things can be cleaned. These bathrooms were covered in mold and dirt. Gaia assured me via text message that I would be reimbursed for the trouble we had at her property. To date, I have yet to see any reimbursement, and every time I contact her she has some excuse as to why it has not been processed. In short, I have stayed at hostiles that were nicer than this. Do not stay here-- or at any property managed by Gaia.

Perfekte Lage, sehr viel Platz, alles da

Die Wohnung liegt nahe der Ponte Vecchio, fast direkt am Fluß Arno. Für uns war fast immer eine Ansprechperson da, die gerne geholfen hat. Auf Emails wurde immer schnell geantwortet. Das Gepäck muss über eine Treppe in den ersten Stock getragen werden und vor dem Haus kann man nicht parken. Ist aber nicht schlimm. Die Ausstattung ist perfekt. Alles da was man braucht. Wir haben uns sehr sehr wohl gefühlt. Danke dafür!
