This apartment was clean and in a great location. There is a bus stop right outside the door which made it a bit loud at night, but we used a white noise app and were able to sleep.

Wonderful home away from home in the heart of Florence!

This was my second time at this amazing place! It is spacious, perfectly located and the coffered ceilings and amazing architecture is a truly unique experience. Plenty of hot water and luxurious towels and extremely comfortable beds! Our hosts were very easy to reach and lovely to communicate with. We highly recommend this for a family stay.

A great location!

We could walk to all the great sights in Florence. Shopping close by and amazing restaurants. Our host was very helpful and responsive. Great apartment for 2 couples...lots of room to spread out during your stay. We would definitely recommend this unit to anyone! Try Gobbi 13...wonderful food!

Perfect Place and perfect location

This was a place to come back after a busy day of touring. It was great to have an apartment that made you feel like home. It is beautiful and the communication with Gaia and the crew where excellent and and very accommodating. The amenities are awesome and cafe right around the corner was awesome for breakfast. It made for a wonderful visit, and we would definitely stay in this gem again.

Location cannot be beat

An excellent location, first and foremost. A beautiful building as well; we loved falling asleep looking up at the ceiling frescos. Clean, quiet despite the busy street downstairs, and perfect for a family of 3 adults. Bonus points for 2 hairdryers! Just caution to those who are not able to handle stairs- it’s a long stairwell up and the stairs within the apartment are not for the faint of heart. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Great location. 10 minute or less stroll to everything you want to see in Florence. Nice place. Ceilings are amazing! Only thing not expected was the 2 bedrooms are open to the floor below like a loft. But we adapted, no big concern! Host was great. Quickly in touch whenever we had questions.

A Lovely Apartment in an Excellent Location

We loved the authentically Florentine feel of this place. It was spacious with big windows, great height (that stunning ceiling); the loft bedrooms only enhanced the sense of space. Our late check-in was smooth and simple with digital entry and clear instructions sent prior to arrival. We enjoyed a very comfortable stay within walking distance of everything we’d hoped to see. Would certainly recommend to friends and family.

Nice home base

The location cannot be beat—easy walking to the Uffizi, etc. And the check in process went very smoothly even though we arrived late at night. The flat itself has some drawbacks; the interior is rather dark (as in, poorly lit), and the bathrooms look like they need a deep cleaning and some grout.

Hi Carol, Thank you for this comment,the apartment is not on the top of the building but you can expect the same illumination shown in the pics,as we always use natural light for our pictures ,of course it may change depending on the season,there are very big windows and enough lamps in the whole unit,I am sorry that this wasn’t enough to meet your expectations. Regarding your appoint on the cleaning there’s no record in my past hundred reviews of complaints on this point,we rely on our trusted staff which is extremely professional and committed,maybe the old tiles of the floor give you this idea but they are not dirty,they are just dated hundred years back,I can tell that the cleaning is adequate in all my rentals,I understand that for some people is not easy to live in the historical places which were built with other destination compared to modern life. Great location in a fabulous city. we walked everywhere.... The unit was clean... a little dark....could use a little more lighting but that is probably a problem anywhere in a medieval city....pack lightly as you have to go up stairs...and it is like that in most vrbos in the area. easy to communicate with....overall...we enjoyed every minute.

It is in a great location in Florence. Loved the cozy feel of the flat. decor and remodel made it feel like we were at a friends home. Some noise from the streets until late hours but drinking wine helped tune it out. Would recommend it to friends for sure. So clean and owners were accessible for help if we needed them.

Beautifully designed and well maintained. Best vacation rental we have stayed in.

Tips: There is one flight of stairs to get to the apartment and there is an interior stair up to the loft. The bedrooms are on the loft level and open to below. The house numbers on the street are not in sequence, so the address will not show up in the exact location on google maps.

Perfect spot for a 5-6 people!

We loved everything about this place - great location, outstanding architecture and a very easy experience. It worked well for our family, including our three daughters: 23, 20 and 18. Word of advice - bring some additional shampoo and soap if you are staying for more than a day or so. Also, there is no clothes dryer in the unit, but they do have a large drying rack which worked well. Thanks again for a great experience!

Charming in a Perfect Location

Our stay was absolutely lovely I this apartment. It is spacious and has everything you need for a family. There is no lift but taking the stairs with luggage was not a problem. It is spacious and well kept. Stefano who manages the apartment was extremely helpful whenever we needed him. You will be very close to many delicious restaurants and cafes. There is a pharmacy right down the street for anything you may need. We will definitely be back. Thank you again for a beautiful stay.

Everything about this apartment was perfect.

I travel a lot and rarely do reviews, but feel I need to share this information. First, I like renting properties that are not occupied by the owners. They are free of personal items and are clutter free. This is one of those great finds! It has a large comfortable living area, two large full baths and 2 bedrooms. Nice large closets. And the most beautiful carved ceiling. The location is perfect, walkable to everything. Communication with owner was great. I would stay here again.

Outstanding location,very safe and central area,great hosts!

This was our first VRBO experience - how lucky we were! Stefano waited patiently for us (in constant contact) when we arrived 2 hrs later than originally agreed. He was full of smiles and carried our bags for us.The apartment is just as described - it is absolutely beautiful and the location perfect... in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Florence. It isn't just clean its immaculate. All the major attractions within easy walking distance And Gaias restaurant recommendations were all excellent. I could go on and on - our trip was superb in every way and exceeded our expectations. Thank you Gaia I hope we can come back one day!
