We love the Shasta!

We had another wonderful time at the Shasta! Derrick always makes us feel at home and thinks of everything to make our time special. It’s our slice of heaven and we can’t wait to be back!

The place was fantastic. I give the 5 star to location and amenities BUT A 10 Star to Derrick, who was constantly attentive to all our needs. The best host ever, and I do a lot of travelling but this Glamping spot is my go to from now on.

Glamping was fun

We had a great time in the camper. Fires at night, wading in the creek during the day. Catching critters, walking around. Awesome couple of days.

We love this place!

This year we kayaked at the Pepacton Reservoir again. We like to visit breweries and distilleries, we visited several in Roscoe. We love the campsite, we will return again. There is so much to do there plus the quietness and intimate setting makes it the perfect vacation. The pictures do not do it justice, if you are an outdoor lover, you really need to consider staying here!

If I could give more stars I would!!! This is such a magical place!! Derrick is an amazing host! The work he's done on the grounds is magnificent. Even though it was raining I just hung outside with my dog floating in the river or napping in the hammock! It's just beautiful!!! I had friends come over and we made so much food and drank all the wine! I love that there's both a grill and a griddle! I'm excited to make it my new yearly tradition! Thank you Derrick!!!!

Wonderful return visit

This was our second trip to Willow Park and it was even more stunning than it was pre-pandemic. Many thanks to Derrick for his hospitality- the new grill station was put to good use and we were grateful to have a secluded weekend in the country.

An Incredible Escape

This is one of the rare places that is more beautiful in person than in pictures. The amenities were fantastic, the setting was gorgeous, and the stream was spectacular. My children (and my dogs) had an amazing time relaxing in this oasis in the Catskills.

Hidden Gem

We absolutely loved our stay here. This place is a hidden gem! I was not expecting the view, the reclusiveness, and the whole thing. I have nothing but amazing things to say about it, I will be back! I never wanted to leave and neither did my pup!

We return here each year and plan to continue to over and over. Do not let the solar shower and no running water scare you. This place is truly amazing and that adds to the entire stay.Derrick thinks of everything. You have a blender and and ice maker for fun drinks to sip on while you float in the creek. There is a coffee maker for fresh coffee to sit on the hill and view the property and creek. Toast marshmallows in the fire and cozy up in the hammock for a nice nap. The bed is extremely comfortable and the towels are high quality.It's fast enough away for the world, but close enough for things to do. I can never thank him enough for sharing this place.

Another Amazing Stay!

This was our third time at Willow Park and it was just as amazing as the other times. Derrick is such a wonderful, thoughtful host. He made our stay so comfortable and made us feel so special. Fantastic spot with all the amenities needed

This site is beautiful, surrounded by wildflowers and bordering the Little Delaware river. The camp site has everything you need to sit back and relax and is close to small towns and hiking. The camper is comfortable and clean with a great mattress. Derrick provided a full fridge and brief orientation to the property. Highly recommend!

Great 3rd Stay!

This was our 3rd time staying at the Shasta hosted by Derrick and we all had an awesome time. We noticed a bunch of improvements to the property which were well thought out and contributed to the overall experience. The pizza oven was a lot of fun and produced some professional looking results. We had great weather and spent a bunch of time floating and exploring the river. Overall 10/10!

Another wonderful time!

This was our second time here and it was just as amazing as the first time! Derrick is the most gracious host and thinks of everything to make your stay so special and sweet. We always return, looking forward to next year

This is truly one of the best places we have ever stayed. The grounds are not only beautifully kept, but it is the most gorgeous place that warms your heart and grounds your soul. The colors of nature are so vivid that you feel like you are living in a picture. If you are looking for a place to recharge, this is exactly where you need to be. My husband and I have stayed at a number of locations in several states, and this was by far our favorite. The location was fabulous, and the host thought of absolutely everything to make our stay the best. We had mentioned that we would be celebrating our anniversary, and we received a card, wine, steaks, chicken, eggs, pancake mix to prepare while we were there and other snacks to enjoy. There was a Blackstone, traditional grill, pizza oven, ice machine, blender, Keurig, and air fryer for our use. The firepit was amazing at night as we enjoyed the stary night and smores over the fire. The sound of the water and the crickets was a soothing lullaby. There were a number of things to do on the property, but our favorite was cornhole that we played way past dark. I would highly recommend staying at this location. You will absolutely not be disappointed. The host of the property, I would guarantee, is the best. We will definitely be back in the summer so that we can take advantage of the water activities.

A magical glamping experience

We had a wonderful stay at this charming spot! The camper was cozy and perfectly set up, providing a delightful base for our adventures. Being right by the river was magical, and making pizzas in the outdoor pizza oven was a highlight—such a fun activity for us and the kids. Derrick, our host, was incredibly welcoming and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. His warmth and hospitality truly enhanced our experience. Our kids are already asking when we can come back. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with a touch of outdoor living. Thanks, Derrick, for everything!

Catskill Paradise

This place was amazing. Our host Derrick was awesome and very helpful. One bit of information: if you are looking for a luxury spa, this is not the place for you. If you love being in nature, do not hesitate to book time here. This location is beautiful, it's quiet and very private. Get away from noise, the internet, TV and all the other distractions we deal with every day. Relax! We plan on returning next year, if not sooner.

Another great stay in a beautiful spot!

We stayed at this property for three nights and had an excellent experience. The host had recreation items (including tubes for the river), outdoor kitchen with gas grill and gas pizza oven, and plenty of spots to sit, relax, and enjoy the property all set up when we arrived. He also had food and drinks in the refrigerator for us! The property is a beautiful spot right along the Little Delaware River. It is very private (we didn’t see another person for three days) yet located only about 8 minutes from Delhi, Bovina, and Andes, where there are restaurants and shops, and near plenty of trails for hiking. Although it’s definitely camping, amenities like electricity, grill, solar shower, super clean outhouse, comfortable bed, and all the recreation gear you could want make this a great place to stay. Thanks, Derrick, for quick and easy communication as well!

Glamping perfection

This Shasta had everything we needed for a private, quiet escape from the city. The grounds are just off the road but still completely secluded, next to a creek with trout, minnows and inner tubes, with a fantastic fire pit, hammock, chairs, grill and all the amenities you need for an easy getaway inside the trailer. We found the bed very comfortable and the only thing we needed to provide was the food and drink for our own meals. We even had some beverages and a beautiful welcome kit waiting for us! You don’t need to worry about bringing blankets or anything else - it’s far more glamping than camping. We were thrilled. Thanks again Derrick and Judy for your hospitality!

WOW!!

This camp is a true gem! We mostly tent camp so this was truly a “glamping” experience for us. Being able to have the camp experience without hauling around and setting up gear was wonderful(especially with a toddler!). Derrick is one of the most kind people you will ever meet, he goes above and beyond anything you’d expect. We spent our days playing (((floating, exploring, fly fishing and throwing rocks))) in the water and spent the nights watching the stars over our fire while eating s’mores. We’re still not sure who had more fun me, my wife or our almost 2 year old. Don’t think twice or you might miss your opportunity, because we’re definitely coming back!

Attention Outdoor Lovers

Such an amazing experience! We had the best time ever having a private campground all to ourselves. Cooking was super easy with the gas grill and a charcoal grill was there if he wanted it. It rained on the one evening and we were able to take advantage of the gas stove inside of the camper. The reason for our visit was kayaking in the Cannonsville Reservoir. Camping in the civil camper and area made The Visit even more pleasurable! We plan on returning to this location to kayak and other reservoirs in the area. I don't want to let all the secrets out. But but you certainly will not be disappointed with the amount of wild flowers and wild life that you see. The view is gorgeous. But sure to take pictures because everyone will be amazed at this piece of beauty. We had all the privacy that we wanted but if we knew we needed something that he would only be a text or a phone call away. Do not pass this up!

Second trip for us!

Once again the trip was more than expected! This truly is an amazing experience and so enjoyable. Derrick added additional things to the campsite, which makes it even more awesome, if that is possible! Plus, the nice little surprises and personal touches he adds are so appreciated and made us feel so special. There are many places to sit and enjoy nature on the grounds. Make sure you bring a camera/phone when you walk around, there are such great pictures to be taken! The bed is extremely comfy and there are plenty of blankets to stay warm and an electric blanket. We went kayaking at Pepacton Reservoir, if you plan to bring your own kayaks, you need to get them cleaned before launching. We left them at the reservoir and locked them, they were fine all weekend. There is a distillery and a brewery in Roscoe. Golf and driving range right in Delhi. Super cute mini golf that Derrick recommended too, if you stay here, you need to visit it, it's only 10 minutes away. We will be back, since we found this place....we need to keep coming back.
