Our Beach Front Studio Condominium is ideally located on the third floor, (third balcony from right) of the beautiful La Concha Condo Complex overlooking the pool and the amazing Bay of La Paz. All boats visiting the intriguing and historical City of La Paz pass just off-shore of our Condo deck and beach front location. Viewing the world famous La Paz sunset from the deck is a regular evening occurrence sure to provide cherished pictures and lifetime memories.
Our condominium offers you accommodations for up to four guests, but two would be very private and appealing. The studio Condo has one bathroom and a Cal King-size bed which can be separated from the dining room by vertical blinds. The dining room contains both a studio couch which pulls out to sleep two as well as a double level loft bunk bed set which sleeps two. A fully equipped kitchen provides all of the needed amenities and the extra freezer brings a smile to the face of the fisherman!
La Paz is a paradise for swimming, sunbathing, beachcombing, snorkeling, biking, exploring, and of course fishing. Jacque Cousteau aptly dubbed the Sea of Cortez the 'world's aquarium' as sea life abounds. The Cortez Club which is located within the La Concha complex offers a full range of outdoor service activities such as snorkeling, scuba, kayaking, fishing, rentals, etc. You would not need to leave the property for anything as a quality restaurant with room service and two beach front bars can accommodate any of your food or drink interests.
The City of La Paz is the capital of the State of Baja California Sur (south), MX. and with a population of 200,000 plus residents it offers an unique opportunity to experience a truly authentic working Mexican City. The people of the 'City of Peace' are the true key to the warm, friendly, and relaxing environment which pervades the region. La Paz is a full service city with supermarkets, numerous quality restaurants with both Mexican and American food and almost anything else that you might find in the US. The Malecon (Seaside Boardwalk that borders the Bay of La Paz) abounds with shops, restaurants and bars, but don't expect beggars or street vendors to disturb your visit.
Guests in the Condo are entitled to full use of the La Concha Resort, including room service, workout facilities, restaurant, Palapa Bar, and the Cortez Club 5-Star PADI dive shop and water sport center.
Don't let our low cost fool you! It is everything as we have described and more.

Ron is retired from public education although he and wife Pat,continue to dabble in the restaurant business, while living in Iowa. We love Baja and the water has always been an attractor. Boating, diving, and fishing in the Sea of Cortez is always exciting and the climate is spectacular. With three son's, two daughter's -in-law and eleven year old twin grandson's, who now also love Baja, we try to schedule an annual summer vacation for all in our little piece of 'paradise'.
Owner purchased this Condo in 1994
Why Owner chose La Paz Municipality
We purchased our Condo in 1994 when the building was new following several exploratory trips to Baja Sur. We love the excitement of Cabo, but La Paz was our choice for ownership. Unspoiled by tourist influences, La Paz retains it's natural Mexican ambience while offering all of the attractions of the more glitzy vacation destinations. The people of La Paz, (the City of Peace), are truly wonderful friends, warm and kind neighbors, and hospitality models for all!
What makes this Condo unique
We love to swim, boat and fish and our Condo provides all of that activity right at our door step! It is also fun to shop in La Paz, especially if you enjoy planning meals. The supermarkets, much like ours, but with so many new and different fresh foods are a joy to shop. Local markets also exist with fresh sea food, fruits, vegetables and bakery. If you are not into cooking, no problem as La Paz has lot's of great restaurants. In short, La Paz has it all from exciting new adventures to the peace and quiet relaxation we all crave at times!

We stayed in the condo for 6 nights and absolutely loved it. The condo pool is great, as is the hot tub. Views are wonderful from the balcony and the beach is steps away. The security staff were very helpful and friendly. The condo was very comfortable, we had everything we needed. The shower was very good also (hot water and good water pressure!) The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was very well stocked with all sorts of cooking utensils, etc. The balcony was wonderful to have meals on, enjoy a cocktail, and morning coffee! The air conditioning worked wonderfully.
We rented a car and drove through Todos Santos from SJD airport. It took about 2.5 hours and the drive was fine. The restaurant at Las Conchas was just OK- we had snacks there for the most part and dinner there the first night we arrived. The remainder of the time we cooked (there is a large grocery store in town- about 15 minutes away, similar to a Wal-Mart supercenter thing). My boyfriend claimed to have the best steak ever at Palmeros on the Malecon. I had the fresh catch which was also delicious. This was our only "fancy" meal out. For ice and booze/snacks, there is a gas station close by towards town, about 5 minute drive on the left.
We went on two tours while there, both with VIP tours, which I highly recommend. The first was a swimming with the whale shark/snorkle with the sea lions/visit Bandero beach with lunch on the beach. I highly recommend this! The tour was from 10A-5P. The second tour was a fishing trip and I caught a giant Dorado fish which we grilled up back at the condo. Delicious.
We really loved La Paz and I highly recommend it to those seeking a less touristy/more authentic experience in Mexico. It's absolutely gorgeous here!
Thanks Ronald, for prompt communication. Very positive, great experience overall.
The Condo is a little older, but totally functional. Clearly not just a rental, a few to many "nik naks" for me. The grounds crew and security where all great, very helpful. No Router in the condo, so WiFi comes from the security post across the parking lot. Best to sit on the entry back patio. I would stay there again. Very much enjoyed our stay. 3 1/2 to 4 Stars
We had such a wonderful stay in La Paz. We loved the condo! It was in a great location. The grounds and the beach were well maintained. There is a mini-reef straight out from the condo that we had so much fun snorkeling to...so many fish! So much diversity!
My daughter and I took the day trip with the Cortez Club right next door and had the time of our lives snorkeling with sea lions and whale sharks.
We will be coming back!
Excellent condo for relaxing at the beach
Ron and Pat’s condo is so comfortable that I felt that I had been welcomed into a relative’s holiday home. It was a perfect place to relax, enjoy the beach, pool, and the wonderful sunsets. It was great to have the kitchen facilities and the barbecue on the deck. I also appreciated the friendly staff and the hotel restaurant and shuttle service. I look forward to returning.
Great spot if you have car and can get to malecon and various beaches. Excellent value. Condo had all amenities except good wifi reception. Would recommend to anyone. Security guards were very friendly and fun to talk to.
This is the second time we've stayed in this unit, the third time we've stayed at the La Concha Condominiums. The location is very nice, right on the bay and the pool area and grounds are beautiful. It's lovely to have a cold drink while watching the sunset every night from the patio. Staff are friendly and helpful and the owner responds quickly to emails. The condo is large for a studio, with high ceilings. It's furnished in basic Mexican style with a rather strange double decker bunk bed over the sofa. The kitchen has everything needed to cook in, or there is a restaurant next door at the hotel. It is about a 3 mile walk into town. There is a bus that will stop in front of the condo if you wave at it or a taxi is fairly inexpensive. I walked into town most days and took a taxi or the bus back if I had groceries to carry.
