Central Kihei holiday lettings

The apartment is a home from home equipped with everything you could need for a holiday including beach gear (chairs, umbrella, bodyboards!). It is less than 5 min walk to Times supermarket and a whole array of places to eat. The best bit is the balcony with the most amazing sunset view, and you are right on the beach for a swim or walk. Loads to do on the island and the location is convenient for everything. The hosts (Roopa and Joe) were brilliant - communication was excellent before we arrived and during our stay. Sadly we were staying during the wildfires that caused so much devastation for the island and it’s people. During the time the fires were burning Roopa and Joe were quick to check that we were ok. A lot has been written about tourists visiting Maui now in the press. Everyone we met after the fires were very welcoming. Undoubtedly the island will need visitors to continue to support the economy as it recovers, and if you choose to go then Roopa and Joes place is a great local spot to stay away from the big resorts, somewhere you can contribute respectfully and enjoy the amazing island. I’m short we couldn’t recommend staying here enough. It’s an amazing holiday rental.

Beautiful spot, lovely sunsets and stars, shopping and swimming facilities near by, great communications by owner. It's a small rustic place in a lovely place. Property itself was a three star experience in a 5 star location - also note that the garden you see in the photos is open to the public.

The property was exactly as expected with an excellent view of the green and pool area. The flat is near to the elevator which was convenient, however it disrupts natural cool air flow through the flat. Our family’s flat had excellent ventilation and could rely on this air flow to keep the flat cool. We made use of the a/c so we could comfortably sleep.

Location is excellent and the view superb. Hosts very accommodating a d responsive.
