Pretty charming outbuilding

Former 18th century dovecote located in the Vosges plain, near the spa towns of Vittel, Contrexéville and Bourbonne les Bains. The house has been completely renovated and is located in a large property surrounded by nature with horses. Favorable for calm and relaxation, perfect stay for walks; mountain biking, mushroom picking.
Ideal stay for lovers of old stones and nature.
Close to the spa towns of Vittel and Contrexéville (cinemas, thalassotherapy, golf, tennis ...). In July and August, the rental is available only by the week.(except last minute availability!) Pets are not accepted. The room is air conditioned. Bikes are available.

Beautiful litte house

After a warm welcome with home-made crepes we enjoyed 4 most relaxing days in this beautiful house. It´s just perfect for 2 persons. The owner do have a outstanding taste for interior. The house is perfect equipped and there is nothing to be missed. Thank you for the cozy days. We will return as soon as possible!

Restful, charming and beautiful

The cottage is perfect for relaxing and resting. It is beautifully decorated with taste and quality, it's very well equipped and very comfortable. The only improvements I could possibly suggest are new pillows on the bed (they are a little thin and worn) and perhaps WiFi, although the phone signal is good. The area is very quiet and charming, although the property is a good way away from the larger towns of Dijon and Besancon, which limits the amount of sightseeing available. However, it is perfect for unwinding, it's exquisite and we had a very enjoyable stay in such a lovely place. Stephanie could not have been a better host and she was very helpful, charming and friendly. There is a lovely terrace under the shade of a hazelnut tree, and the property overlooks hills and farmland. Horses munch in the field opposite and there are chickens, rabbits, swallows and even a friendly cat! The shower is excellent and there is always plenty of hot water. Highly recommended for a truly relaxing break.

Ideal for a break and relaxing

The small cottage has exactly the right size for a nice relaxing time for two. The hostess has furnished the house with great attention to detail and nothing is missing. The check-in was totally uncomplicated, as was the check-out. Stephanie was on vacation herself at that time, so we just locked the door and threw the key into the mailbox of the main house. Thanks for that. There is everything you need, we enjoyed sitting on the terrace and just watching the horses graze, catching the swallow flying, turning the farmer over the grass and the tame rabbit hoping around on the meadow. It's very quiet and lonely there, just what you need to recharge your batteries on holiday. In the bedroom under the roof there is air conditioning, which was very good, because it was very hot at that time. In the living room underneath, you don't need air conditioning, because the old stone walls from 1767 kept the heat well outside. The bathroom with ground level shower is big enough for two. And the kitchen is also big enough for 2, you can cook well. Everything is there and there is an electric grill which works very well. That was a very successful stay. Gladly again.

Le calme et la beauté de la campagne environnante

Retraite studieuse pour ma part chez Stéphanie, où j'ai pris grand plaisir à travailler au calme sur la terrasse "avec vue", à l'ombre du noisetier. Je reviendrais très certainement.

Super séjour au calme dans la nature

Nous sommes ravis de notre séjour ! Le logement de Stéphanie est bien aménagé. Il a du charme, et n'a aucun vis-à-vis. La terrasse ombragée est particulièrement agréable, avec une jolie vue sur les chevaux et les couchers de soleil. Le logement est à côté de chemins de randonnée et de pistes cyclables. Parfait pour un séjour Nature ! La communication avec Stéphanie était super, autant avant le séjour que pendant. Elle est particulièrement arrangeante, et discrète. Nous recommandons vivement !

Un bon séjour au calme

Un petit nid où on est bien, tout y a été refait avec goût et de manière moderne (four, micro-onde, petit réfrigérateur avec freezer, lave-vaisselle, TV, lecteur bluray, Wifi, chaine Hifi etc) dans ce gîte du XVIIIe siècle. On est accueillit par la propriétaire, Stéphanie, très sympathique qui nous fait visiter la location et nous parle un peu de son Histoire. Tout est très propre et le linge de toilette bien agréable Bref un très bon séjour, au calme et à la campagne (ah les belles nuits étoilées !) dans une belle région où on mange bien Attention pour les grands (>1m85) penser à baisser la tête pour la salle de bain ;-) Encore merci Antoine et Patricia du Limousin

Un lieu astucieusement aménagé, au coeur de la nature

Stéphanie assure un accueil impeccable et souriant pour cette dépendance très bien équipée et décorée avec goût. Placée au flanc du coteau, la petite terrasse ombragée garantit un point de vue superbe sur les couchers de soleil. Splendide pour une pause nature au calme.
