Lovely situated cabin.Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, especially the wildlife that visited the woodlland garden and veranda. Woodpeckers and red squirrels, what's not to love. Great walks nearby.

Quiet, clean
We stayed 3 nights. Very pleasant place to have a break.
Lovely place for walking, its very relaxing. We've stayed here a few times, the new couch isnt comfy, preferred the old one, but will still come back.

Family break
Lovely setting , Rowan Cafe was lovely and the staff were great. There is no food currently been served in the grill bar which is a shame but the bar was lovely was cosy. We had a few issues with the cabin but nothing to spoil our holiday.
Thanks David. I enjoyed my stay. Wonderful setting, the shop on site is really outstanding. The lodge is better equipped than I'd imagined and your communication with me before hand when I got mixed up about access was really helpful thank you.

Lovely cabin, within stunning scenery.
Extremely clean and well presented accommodation. Would come well-stocked with supplies, as nearest supermarket is a good hours drive away in Oban.

Warm, homely & scottish
A lovely decorated and well appointed cabin in the woods with lovely unspoiled views from the en suite twin bedroom and patio doors from the master bedroom onto the full length decking. Comfortable beds and working heaters which heated the place in no time. Thought given to little details, and spotlessly clean. The single track forest road to the site was the only downside but brought us the unspoilt, quiet location. The site had a wee shop with great bacon rolls and community run restaurant open from 6 - 9pm daily. Everything for a get away. Shame the walk to the waterfall was closed due to the hyro electric scheme construction but we took a step back in time to Ancient Kilmartin instead to Dunadd, the Largie Cairns and standing stones. It was loch awe'some. My 10 year old son loved it. Didn't hear I'm bored once and the Wifi wasn't used once.

Not as good as last time
Beds in the second bedroom were not made up. When we went to put the sheets and duvet on we found to our horror urine stains on the mattress protector. The heating was acceptable in the lounge and main bedroom, however, the heater in the second bedroom was not powerful enough and there was a draft coming from under the window. There was also no towel rail heater in the second bedroom en-suite.
There was no DVD player. There are two fridges in the kitchen which were a little awkward to get things in and out of due to them being on the floor.
Overall disappointing.

Beautiful lochside getaway!
We had a wonderful stay at Liever, loved the peaceful location in the woods and steps from the Loch. Tried our hand at fly fishing but will have to come back to perfect that...
The cabin is cosy- wood burning stove sees to that! And such care and attention has gone into decorating it to feel like a home away from home.
Our favourite pastime, as Londoners, was to spot the local wildlife (especially the red squirrels), whilst sipping whisky bought at one of the local distilleries. (Or you can stock up on all of them at the whisky store in Oban if you don't have a designated driver to ferry you about between the distilleries!)
Looking forward to coming back again to make it across to one of the islands next time...

Thanks for the review, glad you enjoyed your stay at the cabin.
Just to clarify for future guests the "wood burning stove" referred to is actually an electric imitation fire. Guest is correct though it is very cosy and realistic.

Fantastically relaxing & beautiful
A wonderfully cosy home-from-home cabin in a gorgeous location. Perfect spot to rest & unwind from the stresses of work.
The cabin matched up to expectations and is highly recommended.
Loved going for walks in the woods or along the loch. Oban is worth a potter around in, and next time I plan to get over to the whisky islands!
Totally recommended for anyone who wants to switch off for a while.

Tranquil oasis away from it all.
The cabin nestles in the forest and on entering it is warm & inviting. The cabin is well equipped, with everything you could possibly need - and more!! It was such a luxury to have the 2 shower rooms, no hanging around waiting your turn. The cabin was clean and very well maintained and presented. I would recommend Liever Cabin to anyone.

Welcoming & Homely
My partner and I stayed at Liever Cabin for a long weekend following a year of ill health & stress and I have to say this was just the tonic we both needed. It was warm and welcoming, a beautifully presented and fitted out cabin in a beautiful setting. Long walks to Avich Falls and walks around the Oakwood Trail proved relaxing and provided some astonishing scenery. A 3 minute walk to the Loch side was a delight. I would recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a relaxing, get away from it all break.

Absolutely stunning!!
The cabin was situated away from the hustle and bustle, set amidst a forest setting it was peace perfect peace.
The cabin is furnished to a high standard and everything we could have wanted was available.
We went on walks to Avich Falls and on to the Oakwood Trail, we visited Oban and Port Appin, both well worth a visit.
Will definitely be booking Liever Cabin again.
