Comfortable and relaxing

We had a wonderful visit to the cabin. Everything we wanted and needed was available during our stay. We look forward to returning during warmer months to try out rafting that is super close by.

Everything was just perfect and more than we could've asked for! Our boys (9 & 12) loved the pool table and foosball table downstairs where they stayed. The cabin was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed! Thank you for sharing this little slice of heaven!!!!

Cabin was good, very private.

There is only one thing I would say bothered me a little and that was the showers whistled at you and the knocking of the water pipes. Other than that it was great. Would I stay here again? Yes I would.

Private romantic secluded piece of mountain heaven

  • 5 of 5

Oh my goodness, such a beautiful clean home to rent. Coffee outside in the morning with the mountain peak disappearing into the mist, nights on the back deck looking into the darkness hearing nothing but nature, soaking in the 100 degree hot tub while the air is a crisp 60 degrees. My girlfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights and 4 days and couldn't have asked for more. The location was secluded and the property was beautiful. There are two towns within about 30 minutes, pretty little towns for shopping and eating. The Great Smokey Mountain Railroad and rafting/tubing is close by and we will definitely be doing that next time. It rained the whole time we were there (remains of hurricane Harvey) but the pool table, satellite tv, dvds, puzzle and hot tub kept us entertained, we did not leave the cabin for 2 1/2 days. This would be perfect for 1 couple, 2 couples (bedrooms on different floors) or a small family. The interior is decorated so cute, mountain country and bear themed and the exterior grounds were maintained and had it not been raining would have been great for BBQing or hanging by the fire pit. The drive up to the cabin is mostly paved road and a short drive on gravel, the grade is not bad at all. All and all, this is, without a doubt, a 5 star place to stay. We are already planning our trip back in the fall/winter. So beautiful.

wonderful sanctuary in the montains,

  • 5 of 5

We were so thankful for this beautiful, clean, comfortable, and spacious cabin near the NOC. I have fond childhood memories of camping in the smoky mountains, yet we were celebrating my birthday and I wanted to enjoy all the fun of being in the woods but have a nice place to stay as well. The cabin was spotless, beds were comfortable, and the property was quiet. We loved having separate space for kids and adults and all of the games, etc in the cabin to promote an unplugged time for us to play together. The fire pit was wonderful and the hot tub was a welcome place to relax after a day of hiking or rafting. Also, the cabin is very convenient to the NOC. Easy to come back to mid-day to change clothes or make a sandwich. On another note, Linda was an exceptional hostess to us. She was very understanding about a family situation we had at home-and worked with us to adjust our dates.

About Linda Escobar

My family and I live in large city in Florida in which there are no mountains whatsoever. We love to go up to North Carolina whenever we have a chance, it is such a beautiful place. The mountains are away from the chaos of highways and trains and is very relaxing. When we go to North Carolina, we experience a peaceful environment like none other.

Linda Escobar purchased this cabin in 2008

Why Linda Escobar chose Bryson City

We chose this location to buy our vacation rental because the mountains are so beautiful and the view is spectacular. There are also many attractions near the house such as mountain biking, white-water rafting, horseback riding, and more. The town is not too far away which is helpful when you need to grab some groceries or go out to dinner at a nice restaurant. People are very nice and helpful and nobody is ever in a rush.

What makes this cabin unique

There are many benefits while staying at our vacation rental. The silence and privacy are great and the colors around you on the trees and flowers will blow you away. At night, you will be able to see the stars like never before and in the morning you will be awakened by the noise of woodpeckers pecking away. For those sporty types, everything is near. The Nantahala Outdoor Center is practically down the road. There are also beautiful waterfalls to enjoy as well.

Guestbook comments from the owner

My wife and I stayed in this cabin during a trip to Nantahala Outdoor Center for kayaking lessons. The cabin is really great. It has all the comforts of home, a small but well equipped kitchen, comfortable great room, comfortable beds, and a really nice game room. The cabin was immaculate with plenty of clean towels and linens. Linda was a wonderful hostess, calling on us to make sure we had everything we needed. One word of caution, the drive up is a little unnerving but if you take your time, no issue. However, we were there when the weather was dry and the roads were in ok shape. It could be a problem during inclement weather. That said, I would definitely stay at Carolina Dreamin again. Thanks Linda!
