Casa de campo de estilo tradicional de lujo en el Wild Atlantic Way, con vistas al océano Atlántico y al lado de una hermosa playa de arena. En el corazón de la famosa zona de Burren, famosa por su paisaje de karsk. Este panorama único de gris proporciona un marcado contraste con el proverbial "cuarenta tonos de verde" de Irlanda.
4 habitaciones, una con baño privado, con capacidad para 8 personas cómodamente. Los techos de doble altura en el área de vida se suman a la sensación de espacio haciendo de esta cabaña un verdadero oasis de calma y tranquilidad.
Ubicación ideal para recorrer el oeste de Irlanda y disfrutar de todas las comodidades a lo largo de Wild Atlantic Way. Solo 30 minutos. de la atracción turística número 1 en Irlanda, The Cliffs of Moher. Otras atracciones turísticas incluyen las galardonadas cuevas Ailwee y Doolin, y esta última cuenta con la estalactita más grande del hemisferio norte. Ailwee también alberga diariamente una exhibición de aves rapaces. This was my second stay in Anne’s cottages. We love Fanore and it’s quiet beauty. You can see the Burren and the Atlantic Ocean from the cottages. This is the perfect spot to stay along the Wild Atlantic Way. We explored the Burren and Fanore beach (both walking distance). Galway City and Doolin are just a short drive away. This trip we stopped at the Burren Perfumery for gifts, as well as Burren Smokehouse for delicious local smoked fish. We returned to the cottage each night and warmed ourselves by a peat fire. Anne’s hospitality made us feel relaxed and welcomed. Can’t wait to return!

Anne was delightful and helpful from sending a pin for our map to find the house to checking in with us along the way to help with any potential needs or provide help in making local picks on things to do or places to go. House was clean and bed was comfy, 2 big things when traveling... vrbo needs to update their listing to reflect the electricity pay but it is so minimal that it isn't a big deal, just threw us off when we first arrived and hadn't read it on the vrbo site.... after checking into it further the house independant site does have the info on it... asked about it upon arrival and in true form Anne was helpful and easy to communicate with. Loved our time while we were there and would not hesitate to stay here again if we are in the area. Weather was mild but that is unpredictable anywhere you stay... what you don't always find is a good house and a kind host... don't pass up on staying here and meeting Anne. You won't regret it.

Beautiful and spotlessly clean, and a stone's throw away from the beach. Fairly remote location with a lovely cafe, convenience store, and O'Donohue's Restaurant/Pub grouped together about 2km away. Buy more firewood than you think you'll need if it's chilly and stormy (thank you "hurricane" Amy!) buy wine, post cards, stamps, extra toilet paper, and eggs at the convenience store, Nick is very helpful. Paul at the pub was delightful, and the lovely young woman who owns the cafe makes all creations from scratch (gluten free options too). Our host Anne couldn't have been more attentive and stopped in to make sure we had what we needed.

Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Das Cottage hat alles, was man für einen entspannten Alltag benötigt. Der Fanore Strand war herrlich, wir haben noch nie so einen schönen Sand gesehen! Vielen Dank für den Ausflug in die Burren und für die Möglichkeit, die fluffigen Alpakeas kennenzulernen! Vielen Dank auch für die Tasse Tee (und mehr) zum Aufwärmen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Peaceful and Beautiful Location

Anne was a great host and our family thoroughly enjoyed her rustic cottage with the yard and views! We enjoyed seeing the hares and fox(es) in the back meadow, the sunset and view of the ocean. It was so peaceful at night and we enjoyed the peat fire on the cold evenings. Thank you, again!

Great vacation

Four of us spending 2 weeks in Ireland, wanted a base camp in the Burren. This was our choice based on on line presence. Cottage was exactly as presented on line. Welcoming, comfortable, spotless. A wonderful place for a family!

This lovely rustic cottage was a perfect spot for a 3-generation trip to the beautiful Burren area. Lots of space for kids, parents, and grandparents to sleep and all the amenities needed to take care of little kiddos (kitchen, washing machine, bath, etc).

You can see the ocean from the house and it is in a great location. Many things to see within a few miles. The house is well done and everything is new.

Quiet and Cozy

We had a great stay in the cottage despite the storm that came in with Kathleen. The fire place and turf was appreciated to keep the place cozy.

Very relaxing stay with a great host

We had a wonderful stay, felt welcome and warmly looked after by Anne at all times. The house is in a quiet location, so we were able to relax very well. We can absolutely confirm the friendliness that the Irish are said to be. Thank you for the wonderful time. We'd love to come back.

Lovely Location

We had a very short stay here, had to leave early due to issues at our home. Only issue with the house is the showers, both need attention, low water pressure and downstairs shower head and lead need to be replaced.

Family holiday

We had a wonderful time at Anne and John’s cottage. It’s clean and comfortable, with all the amenities you need. It was an excellent “home base” as was explored Ireland for the first time. Anne was always in communication, even warning us when bad weather was coming. We highly recommend Fanore Holiday Cottages!

A Charming Cottage

Excellent vacation!!

Cottage was clean, spacious and well stocked for cooking. Great lighting, heat and very comfortable beds. Anne communicated with timely responses to questions. She is extremely pleasant and knowledgeable about the area. The views of both the Burren landscape and Sea are lovely!!! My husband and I look forward to staying at these cottages again as we love the Burren and felt very much at home in our Cottage. Mary and Ken Vermont, USA
