Beautiful Studio Rental In SW Michigan & Near Lake

This listing offers the rental of a fully furnished studio home featuring easy access to and from I-196, as well as public access to Lake Michigan and private beaches. The rental property is situated on 7 acres of land and surrounded by a variety of trees. A peaceful and quiet location makes for a great relaxing weekend or extended vacation. The home comes fully furnished. All you need to do is bring your towels! The rental has Wi-Fi, heat, and air conditioning. Small pets are welcome!

5-minute drive to downtown South Haven and other local attractions.
Lake Michigan access is approx. 1/2 mile or 2 minutes drive.

Note: The property manager has designated this unit for 7-night rentals. The rental will start on a Saturday, and checkout will be by the following Saturday at 9 am. If you require a different length of stay, please contact the property manager for further information and consideration. The property manager will consider Weekend-only rentals subject to availability.

Amazing low-key getaway

I enjoyed my stay Ed and Bridgett’s cottage. It was the perfect location to the beaches, town and all other amenities of South Haven. The cottage is so quaint yet spacious for a couple or small family.. The yard is amazing! Everything about the trip was perfect!

Perfect Paradise in South Haven

Absolutely wonderful stay with Ed and his wife! The property is located on 7 or 8 acres which our dog got to spend time exploring. The house couldn’t have been cleaner and had everything we needed. Shower pressure is great and the bed was comfy. The hosts were excellent communicators and so kind and welcoming. It was just perfect. Since I had to work while we were there I found a wonderful coworking space downtown called ThinkBar. Worth a check out if you need the space!

Wonderful all around!

We had a blast at our stay! Ed and Brigette are excellent hosts and very kind. The yard was a great place for our sheepadoodle Bismark to run around, and we could not have asked for a better experience. :) We will be back!

We LOVED our stay!!!

Ed and his wife were wonderful! Our place was extremely clean and comfortable. The place had everything we needed. The house is less than a 5 minute drive from town and sits on a large, quiet and peaceful piece of land. It was a great place to stay for two people. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our time there and would definitely stay there again if in the area.

Nice Little Bungelow

Nice space for my husband and I and our little dog. It was clean and comfortable and we really enjoyed the expansive property and location. It is very close to the beach and downtown. Edward was very nice and accommodating. We enjoyed chatting with him!

Perfect Hide-a-way

The little bungalow was perfect for our needs as we traveled around the state attending family and friends events. Bridget and Eddie are delightful owners. Our visits with them were special and the peace and quiet of our rental were wonderful! We would book again without hesitation!

Cute little house for 1-2 people

If you are a very small family on a budget, this would be perfect for you. The house is very clean and furnished with essentials. It sits on a large lot shared with a bigger house. There is no fence, so if you travel with dogs, it's a big consideration. You have to lock your dog inside or keep him tethered outside. The beaches in South Haven are NOT pet-friendly. I had to take a 15-minute drive to West Point park to walk my dog along the water edge and then to take a separate trip to Casco Township preserve - nice place to swim. There are no good places to walk or run your dog(s). I walked him along the North Shore Drive watching for the cars or deer crossing. All-in-all, it was a good stay. Ed and Bridget are lovely people. They even returned the stuff that I forgot when leaving.

Lovely Cottage

My mom and I had a wonderful experience while staying st this property. The owner’s home was right next door and they were very friendly as well as helpful. The kitchen was stocked with all the essentials and the cottage was very clean.

Quiet studio

This studio is a very peaceful and quiet place to stay. The quiet location was ideal for our dog, a mini-dachshund who barks at every noise. He spent the time sleeping instead of playing watchdog. The large yard was a bonus and we saw deer feeding there early one morning. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone with children or pets wanting simple, clean, quiet accommodations.

cottage in South Haven, MI

I stayed in Bridget and Edward's cottage for 6 days recently. They are the most welcoming hosts. The cottage is perfect for one or two people. Its located on the North Shore of South Haven, MI away from downtown and neighbors. The cottage is small and not a luxury condo but is perfect for simple living. The lawn around the cottage is huge so it has a very country feel and so convenient to everything. I walked to the beach but drove to the shopping. Bridget makes sure the cottage is sparkling clean and everything you need is provided. I totally enjoyed my stay and will definitely stay with them again when I'm in South Haven, they both are so sweet and friendly. I noticed they accept pets and the yard is perfect for kids to run around in. Plus, its so QUIET and safe, traveling alone I never once felt uneasy. A great place to stay.
