Two Bedroom, Air Conditioned Apartment On Marina De Lagos

Situated on the award winning Marina de Lagos this two bedroom apartment provides the perfect setting for a relaxing holiday and is also ideally situated to explore the beautiful Algarve. The apartment which is situated on the first floor of the Gil Eanes building has views over the gardens and Marina and is accessed via a lift or the stairs. As the building is situated on the front of the Marina complex away from the road you will not be troubled by traffic noise.

The apartment has two twin bedrooms both with air conditioning and patio doors to the balcony, a bathroom and guest cloakroom. The kitchen is fully equipped and the open plan living area has air conditioning and patio doors to the balcony where there is table and chairs for alfresco dining.

The Marina has its own selection of waterside café, bars and restaurants and just a short walk will take you into the traditionally Portuguese town of Lagos. With its range of excellent restaurants, bars and shops catering for all tastes. The famous sandy Meia Praia beach with its beach bars is a ten minute walk away. In the evening the cobbled cosmopolitan streets of Lagos town come alive with stalls, street entertainers and artists and many street cafés and bars enabling you to sit, relax and watch the world go by.

We purchased our apartment in 2003 after holidaying in Lagos for the previous 15 years and having holidayed as a couple and as a family with both young and older family members, still think it is the perfect holiday location.

Lovely apartment brilliantly located in the quieter end of the Marina but still within easy walking distance of a well stocked supermarket and the Marina’s bars and restaurants. A 10 minute walk took us either into the old town or to the beautiful Meia Praia beach. The pool passes provided allowed us access to the Marina Club Hotel’s swimming pool. No car necessary as everything is easily accessible. Fully equipped with everything you could need for a relaxing holiday, the owners were very helpful and the booking process was very smooth, would definitely return.

Ideal 2 bedroom apartment

This apartment is as advertised and ticked all the boxes.

Very spacious inside and out. Beds are comfortable. Air con and wifi very good. Nice and quiet at night.

Very convenient for the numerous cafes, bars & restaurants around the marina, and just a pleasant 10 - 15 minute stroll to the town centre and to the beach.

Fab apartment

Really pleasant apartment. Its a pity the sun isn't on the veranda at night however its in the quieter part of the marina which was good. Plenty of bars and restaurants around. If there was any complaints I would say a microwave would of been handy. Otherwise no complaints.

Relaxing stay on the marina

Great location away from the main Marina bars so was a two minute walk but the peace at night was welcome. The pool is lovely but gets filled up quickly with the usual towel on the sunbed brigade! Marina Bar on the corner is recommended for Harvey Wallbangers and ice cold Sagres. The supermarket is a two minute walk away so everything you need for a great break is within touching distance.

Beautiful apartment. Beautiful location.

This was our first visit to Portugal and from the moment we arrived we were not disappointed. The apartment is ideal for a family or two couples. It is well appointed and tastefully decorated with every appliance you could need to feel at home. The sun rises onto the very large balcony early in the morning and it's a peaceful place to enjoy your breakfast. The apartment is at the quieter end of the marina where there are a few good restaurants and a large supermarket. Passes are provided for the Marina Club Resort which is next door and has a lovely pool and restaurant. Just a short walk away are lots more restaurants and the old town with its cobbled streets, shops and cafes. The beaches are also a short walk away and you can enjoy all sorts of water sports. Lagos is a beautiful place and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Lagos, Portugal or this lovely apartment.
