Perfect for Girls getaway to Asheville

This is a well maintained property that is close to everything(short drive to all the sites). Very friendly host that responds quickly to your needs while your a guest. Perfect for our girls weekend getaway!!

Lovely Place in a Quiet Location

Our family of 4 stayed here for a couple nights on our way to a college visit. We loved it! Close to everything, but in a very quiet neighborhood. Absolutely adorable, peaceful place. Super clean, nicely decorated, and extremely comfortable! They definitely thought of everything! Would stay here again! It was the perfect spot to spend Easter together after a day of hiking and driving the Blue Ridge Parkway. Thanks for a great stay!!!

What you see is EXACTLY what you get…and more!!

My family wanted to have a quick getaway for the Thanksgiving holiday and found this location not far from the South Slope area. The unit was spacious for 3 adults and beyond clean! Since we would be there for Thanksgiving, I reached out to inquire what kitchenware was available so I would know how to pack. Mike responded and said everything we might need would be in the unit….he wasn’t kidding!! Well stocked kitchen with various pots and pans, dishes, utensils (some of which I didn’t even think about). I could not be happier with our decision to stay here. Thank you so much for a lovely place to spend our holiday!!!

Fireflies in the Mountains

Wonderful stay with great amenities. They’ve really thought of so many things to make this place feel like a home away from home - the kitchens was well stocked, great entertainment in the space, comfortable beds, and more! We stayed with two adults and two kids under 5. The place felt “kid safe” to us, with the only concern being dining area chairs that were a little higher from the ground, but that was very easy to manage. They loved “hiding” in the closet with some flashlights and light sticks :) We enjoyed sitting outside and watching the fireflies at night after spending some time in Asheville - just a short drive away. Our only regret on the whole stay was that we didn’t plan to stay longer.

exceeded expectations

The property was perfect for our family of four's weekend exploring Asheville and surrounding areas. It is about 15 min. drive to downtown plus close to lots of hiking trails. The place was more spacious than the pictures show. it was VERY clean!!! They had everything one would need to cook. Plus they had lots of extra toiletries. These people really thought of everything! I would stay here again in a second!

Wonderful accomodations & host

Great, clean accomodations! The apartment was so much better than staying in a hotel. The space allowed my family of four to sprawl out and have some privacy during our weekend stay in Asheville. As noted, the kitchen and bathroom were well stocked with supplies. No need to worry if you forgotten to pack something as location is close to a nearby grocery store (Ingles) and shopping centers. The owners were easy to contact and curteous. There is a neat, geographical surprise inside that my family (even my teenagers) thought was pretty awesome.

Great location!

We made the trip up from Florida to see snow and couldn't have asked for a better location. The owner was extremely helpful and answered any question we had about the house or surrounding area. Highly recommended!

Weekend at Biltmore

My husband and I wanted to take my in-laws to visit Biltmore house (they were in town visiting from New Mexico). This was perfect place for short weekend trip up from Fayetteville where we live. We enjoyed short proximity in to town, maybe 20ish minutes to the estate. The place was very clean, living room spacious and perfect for short movie last night after long day out at Biltmore Estate. Communication with property owners was super easy, provided a very detailed list instructions and list of recommendations on check in, so felt like we didn’t need to reach out too much, they had everything already laid out and explained! Had basic necessities provided for morning coffee, basic shower needs…etc Highly recommend!

Very Cozy, Great Location!

Located close to all our activities, it was a great place to come back to when we were exhausted. Comfy couches and beds, and lots of extra little touches to make the guests comfortable.

Mountain Air …Fall Expeience

Nice family getaway

It's kinda like going to the Bat Cave (the fictional one from Batman comics, not the place in the Carolinas). You drive on winding roads and wonder if you're ever going to get there. Once you do, it's a great place to unwind after a busy day of hiking or enjoying Asheville.

Great host and perfect accomodations

Michael was a great host. He was there to welcome us when we arrived. The apartment was perfect for three friends getting together. It was clean, roomy and had a nice outdoor seating area. Would recommend if visiting the Asheville area.

Saying goodby

My mother, sister, and I traveled down from Michigan to spend time with. and say goodbye to my 91-year-old aunt who is on hospice. Unfortunately, because of Covid, We could only stand outside the window my aunts nursing home and talk to her via the phone. Mountain Air was the perfect place for us to stay and was such a cozy, comfortable, and relaxing place to sleep after emotionally exhausting days. Michael was always available and responded quickly to any text messages or emails. I would definitely stay there again.
