This cabin is nested in lush greenery sitting right above Lake Burton. With about 5 minute walk to the lake, this cabin provides plenty of privacy with easy access to everything lake Burton has to offer.

LaPradeā€™s marina and Anchorage marina where you can rent a boat, jet ski and other water toys are both about 5 minutes away.

We have a restricted access to the lake through the stairs at our community dock. You can use it to get on or off a boat, swim, canoe, kayak or paddle board. No boat docking is available, and no congregating is allowed.

The cabin is a perfect choice for large families and groups of friends. 8 guests will be comfortable in this spacious cabin offering lots of privacy with two master suites and bedrooms positioned in different parts of the home. The living area is great for entertaining with gourmet kitchen, large dining table, bar, cathedral ceilings and adjacent living room that provides comfortable seating area with large flat screen TV and pool table. Outside on the deck is jacuzzi and seating area.

Besides the picturesque pristine lake there are ample other opportunities for relaxation and entertainment. Beautiful hiking trails, fishing, rafting, zip lining, horseback riding, restaurants, golf, galleries, Tallulah Falls, Rabun Gap, close to Dillard House and Highlands, NC. Nearby town of Clayton offers quaint historic downtown with restaurants and cafes. Bavarian-style town of Helen is also only about 20 miles away.

Fall Motorcycle Trip

The property was great. Our party used all of the bedrooms/sleeping areas (there were 7 of us) and there was plenty of room in the garage for the 4 bikes. Little bit of a hiccup with the operation of the hot tub but the owner was more than available and helpful in getting it running. Traveling up the gravel road the first time to the house was a little sketchy but after that time it was great and just added to the adventure. Our whole group definitely recommends this property for a mountain get away.

We had easy access to Lake Burton, Clayton GA, and wedding events. All enjoyed the pool table. When we arrived we were surprised that there was no coffee or coffee condiments on sight. I would recommend this property.

Cabin is very welcoming. Beautiful Kitchen and a great gathering place. The bed & pillows WERE AMAZINGLY COMFORTABLE, I actually slept better at the cabin then at my bed at home. Was a little disappointed that one of the upstairs bedrooms had a window unit instead of central air, but we did not need to use that bedroom. The lake was so relaxing and refreshing. We will defiantly be back. THANK YOU for a wonderful time.

Perfect Fatherā€™s Day getaway!

This clean & comfortable pet friendly home was perfect for our family of 8 people! Communicating with the owner, Petra, before and during our stay was so easy and she was very responsive and gave clear instructions that made check in & check out easy. The hot tub and pool table were nice amenities and provided great entertainment when we were in the house. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed to prepare 2 dinners & 2 breakfasts for all of us. We rented a boat from LaPradeā€™s Marina and I highly recommend doing that if you want to spend anytime on the water and enjoying the beautiful lake views. We definitely plan to return to this lovely home!

Wonderful Family Mountain Getaway

My family and I loved our stay at this cute mountain retreat near Lake Burton. So easy to relax here, eat together here, play here, and enjoy time together here in the north Georgia autumn. We had 9 people total with kids ranging 10-16 years old and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the house. Best of all, Petra was very kind and warm to work with. The house is a little distanced from things (part of its charm) so a grocery run before arriving is probably a good idea. But overall, highly recommend and would rent again.

AWESOME!!! Mountain Getaway

We have been coming to Clayton, GA for many years and have rented many different places but this Cabin/Home was our favorite by far. We were 6 adults and pets. There was plenty of room to relax and you didn't feel like you were on top of eachother. The house was very clean and the beds were comfy. The kitchen was very well stocked with alot of extras, if you wanted to cook. The dining room table was big enough to all sit around and enjoy a family meal. The big family room with a large TV and a pool table was a great place to unwind after hiking and spending time exploring. The jacuzzi on the deck was amazing, our adult children loved it. The barbecue on the deck was also great! The fenced in yard was an added bonus for our pets. We had no problems checking in and out. The owners Petra and Robert were very nice and quick to respond to any questions we had. We are definately coming back!

Great getaway to Lake Burton

Took a group of eight family and friends. Really enjoyed the pool table, the massive kitchen, the hot tub and the lake toys. There was plenty of parking for four vehicles. The house had everything we needed. I would note that the road is gravel for the last 300 meters or so and there are at least four run offs from up hill that make it a very bumpy ride in anything that's not SUV height. We had two suv's and two not so it was noticeable. The place was great for us though. Can highly recommend.

Relaxing cabin

This was a quick trip for my sisters 50th birthday. The owner was very helpful and quickly responded with any questions. The home was very clean. Only suggestion would be to find the recycling center upon arrival. This was my fault as everything was clearly known ahead of time. I highly recommend this cabin and will DEFINITELY rent again! We enjoyed our long weekend at this property. Would like to have known that fireplace didnā€™t work but that was not needed. The trash haul wasnā€™t pleasant but we adhered to rules. Overall it was a good experience and we would stay here again.

Absolutely Wonderful Time!!!

When we viewed this at the time of booking we saw the picture of the dock and assumed the dock was off the home, it is not. In the description at the time we did not see that the dock was elsewhere. We looked at many properties so this may have been our error or an update on the owners side however, the picture is a little deceiving. We thought upon arrival there would be a dock to sit out and enjoy so that was disappointing. There is a back yard that has a lot of potential. Would be a great place for a fire pit and some chairs. Maybe a swing set for the little ones or a hammock. The drive in has narrow rough roads but we were able to navigate with cars and trucks. It's nestled and secluded for the most part. The owners are very nice! Wonderful cozy home! Absolutely gorgeous!
