Very quaint cottage in the middle of the Cotswolds. Clean convenient and charming. Do not expect 5 star, very rustic but very charming and very clean. Good value and would definitely recommend to anyone
This was the perfect cottage to stay while visiting the Cotswolds. Sue was incredibly responsive to all my communication and very helpful. The cottage was well equipped for all our needs (4 adults) and absolutely charming. Would stay again in a heartbeat.
After being let down at short notice by our reserved accommodation, this was a fantastic find and we highly recommend it. Speedy and reassuring communication from Sue all the time. Great location, within walking distance of 2 pubs, safe parking, peaceful but within easy reach of all that the Cotswolds has to offer.
This cottage met all our needs, from off-street parking to a garden sitting area and a light-filled house with everything we needed. Grrat location for exploring the Cotswolds, a helpful and responsive owner, and the lovely cooing of woodpigeons. Could not have asked for more!
First impressions - wow, we were overwhelmed. This stunning cottage had everything we wanted, my parents who are in their 80's could not stop smiling. Perfect stay. We are 1000% booking again. Thank you for a nice relaxing weekend.

Thank you for you kind word . Glad your stay was a happy one
Lovely cottage in a great location. We managed to do lots of day trips during our weeks stay. Host was great, communicated with us before during and after our stay, advised us on places to visit and made us feel v welcome, there was even a bottle of wine waiting on arrival which was a lovely touch . We had an issue with an outdoor wasps nest whilst we were there and she dealt with it quickly and efficiently . Cottage was well stocked with everything we needed and more, from cleaning products to herbs, spices etc in cupboards. Would definitely return and would highly recommend to others. Many Thanks Sue ☺️.
The cottage was very comfortable and equipped with everything you could need.
The location is great for exploring the Cotswolds.
Unfortunately there was a very annoying ongoing issue with the hot water. We arrived to find a note from a plumber that explained a process we needed to follow in order to get hot water but it didn’t always work and we needed to reset the boiler numerous times.
I did complain to the owner as I thought we should have been informed of this in advance. She disagreed with me and didn’t seem to think that it was a problem at all. Not really what you expect for £200+ per night.
All in all we enjoyed our stay and would go back…..but not until the hot water problem was resolved!
A lovely comfortable cottage in a a lovely village. We really enjoyed our stay.

About the host
Hosted by Sue Wright
We bought Wychways cottage to be near our family when we come home to the UK .We gave the cottage the name Wychways as we are undecided about living in the UK or staying abroad .It is our home where our family visit with us and we spend many happy times . We love the area and hope you enjoy it too.
Why they chose this property
The cottage has a large drive way for off road parking, a sunny garden which is gated. There is also a picnic table for breakfast or a glass of wine in the evening. The kitchen is big and easy to use and there is plenty of room around the dining table. The bedrooms are spacious, one with its own shower room and the other has a family bathroom. There is plenty of storage space for clothes in both rooms. The garden is enjoyable on a warm day with lounge chairs and a picnic table. It is also safe for children.
What makes this property unique
Wychways is so close to many of the beautiful attractions that England has to offer, and set on the outskirts of the lovely village of Shipton under Wychwood. The country-side and views are magnificent year round and yet you can be in London in no time at all .
