Casa del Atlántico - centro de vacaciones.

La Casa del Atlántico - alojamiento local, está situado en una zona tranquila, donde el mar es una empresa permanente y el resto en una realidad.
Las casas de vivienda tipo T4 hasta 10 personas. Cuenta con un gran jardín con acceso directo a las piscinas y la costa (sur), además, se encuentra a solo 1,5 Kms de la zona de baño de las playas de Pópulo y milicias. Comercio y servicios (restaurantes, supermercados, bares, etc) son también muy cerca de la misma.
La Casa del Atlántico está totalmente amueblada y equipada con electrodomésticos (lavavajillas, lavadoras, placa de inducción, horno, microondas, cafetera, plancha, etc.) ropa de cama, toallas y todos los elementos necesarios para una buena estancia de nuestros huéspedes, incluyendo, servicio de limpieza y cambio de ropa de cama.

Our host was amazing! We arrived with our rental car and Antonio was fabulous as well as entertaining which was a plus. He showed us all the rooms and the layout, then explained what we needed to make our week comfortable, which was to just relax and take a walk behind the house, along the rocks to a tide pool. The view as described is better in person. Sitting on the second floor balcony and taking in the ocean was THE BEST! He gave us restaurant recommendations and we really loved Bar Caloura. What a week! Thank you again Antonio, we’ll miss you!

Beautiful authentic Azorean home on Saõ Miguel

This is a lovely home with direct ocean access in Lagos, Saõ Miguel. Antonio, the owner, met us a check in, and gave lots of good information about the house and the neighborhood. Throughout our 2 week stay, he was easy to reach and very responsive. The house was clean and well maintained; it is ideal for a large family with sleeping space for up to 10. Antonio is rightly proud of this house, which was used as the family summer home in his youth. I would highly recommend this as a wonderful vacation rental.

Beautiful house on a beautiful island

This house was great for our family of 4 on our first trip to the Azores. Bedrooms to spare and 2 full bathrooms with a well-stocked kitchen. The location can't be beat - truly a wonderful area. We will be back in the future!

Gorgeous location

Plenty of room for 5 adults and 2 children. This house is set in such a beautiful location. We enjoyed our days at the house and exploring the island. Nothing is too far away and restaurants are in walking distance. Antonio was very accommodating and response to any and all questions:concerns. I would definitely recommend staying at this property.

This was in a perfect location. There was more than enough room for 6 adults. We enjoyed having dinner with the beautiful view. Antonio was a wonderful host. He was very friendly and helpful. He added to our good memories on Sao Miguel. If we come back, this is where we'll stay.

Beautiful Ocean View Property

All amenities were there. Comfortable beds and furniture, full kitchen. Just a short jaunt through the yard and a two-minute hike puts you at 2 natural ocean pools. Private locked gate off the street. A very nice property.

Wonderful stay in the Azores!

We had a wonderful stay at this property. Antonio was fantastic. He met us there and showed us around. We were able to park our car there that we rented. The property is just as described/shown and has a gorgeous view of the ocean. It was very clean and plenty of sleeping spaces. At the time of year we went the evenings were cool but space heaters are provided. Also, we were able to wash clothes (the washing machine is located in a separate building on the property) but drying took a while due to the humidity - just something to be aware of depending on the time of year you go and the local weather. Overall, highly recommend this place - very clean, comfortable, and gorgeous. Antonio is very responsive and wonderful to work with as well. He has some great local restaurant recommendations too!

Beautiful home with views not to be believed! Walking distance to grocery,restaurants,cafes, paved pedestrian path. Only a short drive to Ponta Delgado. Antonio could not have been more available,helpful and communicative. Highly recommend!!

Best spot on the island!

We were a group of 8 (4 couples) and we were all comfortable and had plenty of room. The house itself was beautiful. The views were outstanding. The natural swimming pool was very refreshing. The house is in a central location with restaurant and market within walking distance. António was very accommodating and truly cared about us having a good time! We will definitely be back!!!

The perfect place for a holiday on Sao Miguel!

We stayed 2 weeks with 6 adults and 5 kids in this beautiful house by the sea. The house is perfectly located: near to the main city Ponta Delgada, very quiet due to being away from the main street, the ocean and especially the wonderfull natural pools (great for little kids!) are just behind the garden door. Lagoa itself is a perfect hub in order to quickly reach the northern beaches at Ribeira Grande, while the eastern and western areas of the island are also convenient to reach. Antonio is a great host and made our stay very enjoyable. We miss the sound of the ocean and the cicadas at night...all in all a perfect holiday!

Magical Property

We absolutely LOVED our stay at Antonio’s home! The backyard, the garden door, the patio and deck, the most beautiful view we’ve ever had. I loved having my coffee out on the rooftop deck each morning and my kids enjoyed walking to the natural pools and watching the waves break outside the back door. Antonio was so very attentive to our needs, showing us around the home and grounds and truly cared about our time on the island. Pics are as shown, you will not be disappointed

Fantastic property and host!

What a great location! You walk out the back gate and are right on the ocean! There were eight of us staying here and there was lots of room both indoors and out. The property is unassuming when you first drive up the road, but once you enter through the front gates, it is truly a remarkable spot. Antonio was fantastic to deal with from initial booking, to questions before we arrived, and during our stay. It is really important to him that you enjoy your stay. Would love to return to the Azores again and would definitely stay here again. Thanks Antonio for helping to make our stay in the Azores a truly fantastic experience.

Beautiful house in a perfect location

We loved the house and the gardens and had a wonderful time there. The house is very comfortable, with good spaces, a nice layout, and it was very clean. The location is good for going anyplace on the island, and the setting is spectacularly beautiful. It was nice to have sea breezes all the time. We would definitely stay here again, and probably will! The only things we would suggest is to give tenants an extra set of keys (in case they are not always together), and to have a few more dishes and coffee mugs. We cooked for our family and needed more dishes and eating utensils, and, as Americans, we like large coffee cups in the morning. Thanks to Antonio for our stay in your lovely home.

Amazing home on a stunning island

We had a fantastic stay at Home Atlantic. There were seven of us and the house was so spacious that we never felt crowded. Words can't describe how amazing the back yard and ocean view were...simply stunning. You walk out the door in the yard and the ocean is right there. There is also a scenic path that takes you to the swimming holes and it is so quiet and private. We rarely saw anyone out there. The island was beyond beautiful and the house was a great home base for driving to the sights. It was also just a short drive to Ponta Delgada which is so charming. The house was also within walking distance to two restaurants and a small grocery store. The larger grocery store was only a 5 minute drive and had everything we needed. Antonio, the owner, was very kind and always responded quickly to any questions. We highly recommend this home and would stay again in a heartbeat. It truly was an amazing place.

Lovely stay at true Azorean home!

This is a wonderful property that makes your stay in the Azores feel truly authentic. From the oceanfront view, beautiful yard with stonewall fence, access to natural pools, and walk-out balcony, it added to the whole experience for us. The house is cozy and rustic, but still offers some modern touches; WiFi, tv, dishwasher, and washing machine. The courtyard in front offered some extra security and it was nice having the house set back from the street. We didn’t use it for parking because there was always street parking available. We walked down to the natural pools a lot, and used the walkway to Lagoa. There’s great restaurants within walking distance and a grocery store very close by. Antonio is a wonderful host. He was at the home to greet us and was super accommodating by letting us check in early. He even surprised us by getting us some traditional Portuguese foods for the house. He was available for anything we needed, and is a top host. My only suggestions would be a couple more fans in the house. It was quite warm during our stay, and we had to move the fans around from room to room when we needed them. We didn’t mind opening the windows, but when there was limited breeze/raining, it was quite warm. Something for groups staying w/9 people; there are double beds in each of the 4 rooms. One also has a crib, and another has a trundle bed. Just be mindful of your sleeping setup since 4 people in the room with the trundle bed was a bit tight.
