The home stays cozy year-round thanks to a geothermal system and solar panels, helping reduce our footprint while keeping things simple and sustainable.

Large windows frame incredible views of Porpoise Bay and the surrounding mountains. We even repurposed trees cleared during construction to create unique countertops and staircases — a meaningful way to stay rooted in the land.

Located in the quiet Sandy Hook neighbourhood, Bella Vista offers front-row seats to nature — perfect for relaxing, exploring, and even catching the northern lights when they appear.

The main floor is completely step-free, making it easy for everyone to enjoy.

Whether you're gathering with family, reconnecting with friends, or simply need a quiet place to land while you're on the Sunshine Coast — for vacation or for work — Bella Vista offers the space and serenity to make the most of your stay.

Pets are welcome too — because vacations should include every member of the family.

June weekend

Amazing property with amazing views! Hand a wonderful time with the fully stocked kitchen and large patio. We had plenty of space and the host was very responsive.

Wonderful relaxing week

A beautiful property for a 3 generation family retreat. Very well stocked with incidentals and accommodation for all. Loved the outdoor fire pit abs amazing decks. Highly recommend this property for thise seeking to get away from the hustle and bustle. Great walking trails close by.

Very Nice Vacation Property!

This is a new house in a nice quiet neighbourhood. It is very large (six bedrooms, large kitchen and living room) and it can easly accomodate 2-3 families (there were eleven people in our group). There is a huge patio as well with beatiful views of the ocean and mountains. On some days we got to see deer passing by the house. Everything was very clean and the kitchen well stocked. Jack and Val were amazing hosts and made everything very easy for us. We all enjoyed very much staying there we are hoping to go back. Thanks Jack and Val for letting us stay at your house!

Family Reunion

Thank you, so much for the amazing family reunion! We all had a wonderful time. Beautiful views, close to Hidden Grove for lovely hikes and Porpoise Bay for paddle boarding. Dogs loved it too. Very Thankful for the cool house during the heat wave too. Will be back for sure. Maybe this time with some close friends. Only suggestion maybe a umbrella for the deck. Family get together

Overall our experience was great. The kitchen is equipped with lots of pots and pans, serving dishes and crockery. The house is noisy: sound travels downstairs and upstairs which made it difficult for the children to get to sleep. The safety gates on the stairwells were excellent for ensuring young children are safe. The only other complaint is the coach bed and the bed downstairs were uncomfortable.

Family vacation

Very nice house, lots of room and very conveniently located. The view is fantastic from the house and huge deck and the neighbourhood was great We love to kayak and their were plenty of locations near by as well as a great swimming areas. This is our second year enjoying this property.

Family wedding weekend

The deck over looking the bay was just perfect. We also visited the beach within walking distance many times. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well stocked. The master bedroom was just great. The only bedroom that was not the best was the main floor one where the occupants had to cross the main area in the morning to use the washroom. It did lack a little privacy.

A great stay in Sechelt.

The house in the quiet Sandy Hook neighbourhood was large, well equipped and the layout worked well for our group of 7. We also enjoyed the deck with lots of seating to take in the spectacular view. Our host, Jack, was always available and responded quickly to our questions. We definitely recommend this property.

Make this residence your home base

There's a lot to see and do on the Sunshine Coast so make this clean, inviting residence your home base (but having a car is ideal). The view of the inlet from the large deck is stunning. Check in/out was easy and there was more than enough room for our large group. Thanks for the wonderful stay!

Pleasant with incredible views

The views here are stunning, beautiful home that is well kept, spacious and peaceful. Would love to visit again. Stayed on a trip with co-workers and this was a great spot for a large group.

Beautiful views, spacious home

Very clean with beautiful views, quiet area, and a spacious home. We enjoyed our stay for the week, and will be coming back to stay after the long weekend. Location is near Hidden Grove trails.

New years getaway

The house was perfect for our group with lots of comfortable beds and beautiful views. The hosts were extremely communicative and helpful. We had a fantastic time and would recommend the rental to other/return ourselves.

Sunshine Coast paradise

Jack and Val’s home is perfect when you want to disconnect from the city. We stayed 3 nights but we could have stay for ever!!! There is plenty of room and everything you need in the kitchen: lots of spices and herbs ( even nutmeg powder for my gratin dauphinois!!!!) The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful and I have to say we did a little bit of noise Friday night and we realized downstairs is better soundproofed a bit late. ( Sorry Janice!) The view is amazing and there are activities for anyone. We went to Edward lake ( half a day hike return), saw lots of bear’s poos but no bears and did swim in the lake, the water was so good! I strongly recommend Jack and Val’s home but avoid partying at night! Agathe
