About Suzanne Lewis

Fritz and Suzanne hiking in Canyonlands. We love the Moab area and try to hike as often as possible. We have lots of favorite places to share with our guests. We also love to discover rock art and many of our excursions are centered around the search for the ever elusive petroglyph panel.

Suzanne Lewis purchased this studio in 2008

Why Suzanne Lewis chose Moab

We live and work in Moab and when we built our home we chose this area of Moab because it is very rural, quiet and has beautiful views.

What makes this studio unique

We really enjoy our privacy and our studio apartment and second room offer plenty of that plus comfort and a very convenient location. We really enjoy our guests and are happy to provide information about the area and we get interesting information from our guests' discoveries. Oscar the Cairn terrier is always ready with a wagging tail!

This was the perfect place for our stay in Moab

  • 4 of 5

Our accommodations were very comfortable and Suzanne was very welcoming and gracious. Turns out we were close the place our daughter was staying, so it could not have worked out better if we had planned it. Will definitely try and stay here on our next visit to Moab.

Enjoyed our stay

  • 5 of 5

Perfect base camp for our trip. Fresh coffee and simple breakfast provided was a treat. Bed was very comfortable. Allowing our dog to stay with us was a treat. Clean and ample room for couple with a dog. Suzanne and Fritz were great hosts. Would definitely stay there again.

3 night stay

  • 4 of 5

We liked the location with the view across to the La Sal Mountains, but felt the yard immediately in front of the property could be tidied as it detracted from the overall appearance. We were there when it was cold and there was extra bedding available for warmth at night. When greeted on arrival by the owners they were helpful and said we could ask them for anything we needed. They did not interfere with us at all during our stay and gave us complete privacy. We did not self cater although facilities were there should we have wanted to. Everything worked well.

Owner's Response: Hi, I appreciate your review and your honesty. You arrived at the very end of winter and you're right our yard was not very tidy. We had started our spring yard cleanup but for some reason we started on the other side of the front! Good advice to start on the guest side from now on! I hope the rest of your travels were lovely. Thank you Suzanne

Moab is in the center of the red rock beauty of Southeast Utah. We are minutes away from Arches National Park and Canyonlands National Park and Dead Horse State Park. All are a short drive away. Moab is a recreational Mecca. The Colorado river runs through the north side of town and offers peaceful tours through its many canyons or for the more adventurous wild world class Rapids. Biking, jeeping ,canyoneering and you name it are all centered here.

At the end of a long, adventurous day our peaceful, cool covered porch offers amazing sunset views.
