Great location!!

Even though there is a parking lot & road between you and the beach we couldn’t have asked for a better location. Road isn’t busy or noisy and you are close to all the shops as well. I also loved that every bedroom had its own bathroom and there was a balcony big enough for our entire group to sit & relax on.

The location was great. The town is very walkable so a car is optional. The VRBO was not stocked with some of the common items that I have been accustomed to with some recent VRBO bookings. We were also told to wait for a text regarding an early check-in. However, we learned later that this property did not allow early check-ins which disappointed us.

Perfect location!

Picked up my College of Charleston student, and had a wonderful beach stay at this home. Plenty of space and privacy, lovely amenities, clean bathrooms and living areas, and best of all, that balcony with a great ocean and pier view.

Vacation at Folly Beach South Carolina

The apartment was great. A very short walk to the beach. 3 nice sized bedrooms with 3 full baths. Nicely stocked kitchen. We enjoyed the balcony which has a lovely view of the ocean. We were able to walk to Folly beach pier, local shops and eateries. We had 2 grandchildren with us ages 10 and 13. It was an added bonus that the beach we walked to had life guards.

No issues. The location was great and the property was very clean. The only thing i wish we could have done was be able to cast from my phone to the tv, but that didnt detract from the visit. We had a great time.

Get away

The condo was very nice! It was exactly as described. The condo was very clean and well organized. The only thing that could have been better was the opportunity to get in early. I had messaged them earlier in the week asking about the possibility to get in early. They said they would communicate that day with me, and we never heard anything.

Great location!

We enjoyed our stay at Folly Beach very much. There was plenty of room for our family of 5 plus one friend. The location is perfect, we were able to walk to dinner every night. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

Stayed here for a weekend 5/4 to 5/6. We had a great time!. Great location!. View from balcony of palms, beach, ocean and pier. Walking access to just about anything you could want/need. I would gladly stay here again if I came back to Folly Beach!

Weekend at Folly Beach

Pavillion Watch #1A was the perfect weekend retreat my family needed! The condo was wonderful and the hosts provided everything we wanted for a relaxing stay! The location is terrific with wonderful views of the beach! Sunrise was stunning and access to the beach was just across the street. It was so nice to find a place to stay that was reasonable and checked all of our boxes! We hope to be able to schedule another trip very soon! I highly recommend Pavillion Watch #1A!

Nice location

The property was nice. The cleaning crew needs to pay mor attention to detail like dusting. The ceiling fan in the master bedroom needed dusting as well as the cable box in the den area. Overall the condo was very nice and I would definitely rent again.

Wonderful views and balcony

Great location. Could have been a little cleaner. Bathroom shower door leaks a little. Only bigger issue was one of the windows would not seal and let in swarm of “flying ants”.

Ocean view 1A

Loved the location, and that has a pool and elevator but needed to be cleaner , shower especially needs cleans on inside!!they had done work and painted just before we arrived so smelled like paint and very dusty.! When I called was told the mgr would reach out. Had to call again and she finally reached out day before leaving. She did offer to bring cleaning crew up but we had cleaned except for shower which I said would take a long time since it was a lot of mold on door! She did offer back the cleaning fee which we got 5 weeks later.would stay in other unit in same building possibly as we did year before and was much better then.

Disappointed

The condo needs updating. There was water leaking through the window in the living room so you could not sit on the couch. We informed Vacasa and nothing was done. DHEC shut the pool down Tuesday due to the emergency phone not working. We books this place because it has a pool. We were never contacted regarding the issue and had to reach out a number of times and still have not received a response. Very disappointed in this company.

Not all that great

The location is nice, walking distance to the beach and restaurants. We liked the area but would not rent this unit again. The condo and management has a lot of problems. We could not park in one of the spaces for 3 days and reported the problem several times and even sent pictures when requested but nothing was done. There is no map that shows the parking arrangements and the management team dose not know which spots belong to this unit. Not all of the parking spots are labeled. The refrigerator ice maker does not work and the frig leaked water that filled the bottom of the frig and ran out on to the floor so we had to clean it up every day. Again we reported it several times, after the 2nd time they sent someone to look at it and all they did was flip up the leaver on the ice maker to shut it off. The window on the west wall in the living room leaked pretty bad when it rained, had to clean up the mess. The shower in the master bed room leaks and there was evidence that it has been leaking for a while. If you plan on cooking you will need to bring pots and pans as the ones that are provided on shot. The pool was dirty when we arrived was never cleaned out so it was unusable. Be very careful when crossing the street, people drove the wrong way on the one way street in front of the unit multiple times each day.

Debbie Evacuation Who is VACASA?

I booked with VRBO, then saw charges to VACASA. When the hurricane/storm Debbie started coming our way, less than 10 hours after our arrival, I started calling about having to evacuate. I had to deal with people from VACASA. Who is VACASA??? I stayed 1 night and had to evacuate the next morning without a refund. The people with VACASA were less than helpful. I will not deal with VRBO again.

Folly Beach rental

This condo was amazing. It was very clean with comfortable furniture. Plenty of cookware, dishes, and silverware. Even though we weren’t directly on the beach the access was so close and you have a nice view of the ocean. Wonderful outside porch. Nice pool area. I would definitely recommend.

No property manager on site.

Had water emergency in another unit. Called Vacasa 3 times--no one answered. 911 was called and the city sent out an employee to check out the situation. Water damage specialists did show up. Pool needed to be vacuumed--not done until 3 days later. Living area couch too uncomfortable and dining area did not work out at all--small and inconvenient to use.

Great location close to the beach and restaurants

We love the location and the layout. Parking was great there was an elevator. ( we loved it for check in and check out.) Linens were plenty. Love the decks which overlooked the beach. Access right across the street. The king bed was uncomfortable and the king room bathroom needed a good cleaning. The shower door was broken. All in all the place was great. Would be nice to do a deep clean of the bathrooms and floors.
