"Luslecheylard" Modern 4 Bedroom Detached House with Stunning Views

A superb luxury holiday home, built to the highest standards in 2009, offering 4 bedrooms all with en-suite bathrooms, open plan living area including sitting room, dining room and large kitchen area on the ground floor and separate sitting room on the mezzanine level, laundry room on the lower ground floor.

The property boasts 2 terraces (ground floor and lower ground floor, linked by a wrought iron spiral staircase and a further balcony on the other side of the house accessed from the master bedroom and living area.

There is ample parking space for several cars and the house is situated in half a hectare (1.25 acres) of garden, fully fenced in with double entrance gates and an additional half hectare of land attached. The garden is manly laid to grass with fruit trees.The house is geothermally heated on both levels with a large Jotul wood burning stove also in the living area to provide diversity of heating.

The house is situated in a tiny hamlet, on a no-through road, within a stone's throw (5 minutes' walk) of Lus-La-Croix-Haute, and thus benefits from privacy as well as easy access to all village facilities on foot. The village is situated 1 kilometre above sea-level in the beautiful Vercors National Park, and is surrounded by mountains on all sides. The village has its own ski resort just a few kilometres from the village centre.

Superb property with magnificent views

The property was even better than the description and photographs show. Very spacious and spotless. The kitchen was very well equipped with a vast array of cooking equipment and serving dishes. A large range cooker, microwave and fridge/ freezer made self catering easy. There is well stocked mini supermarket, excellent butcher and two bakeries within walking distance and a large supermarket a 20 min. drive away. Excellent laundry room. Spacious bedrooms and excellent en suites. The booking was dealt with very efficiently, a good guide to the property provided and the security deposit returned quickly. Both Alan and the local English couple who look after the house were very helpful and supportive during our stay during a medical emergency. We would recommend a car to visit the magnificent gorges and countryside in the area but the local train station is within walking distance and there are many marked walks from the house. Highly recommended. For us it was a perfect place to stay and we hope to return soon.

On ne peut que recommander ce logement : spacieux, confortable et accueillant, superbement placé...Même à 9 personnes, enfants, ados et adultes mélangés, nous avions tous nôtres espace de vie. La cuisine est parfaitement équipée pour des familles nombreuses, tout était prêt et propre à notre arrivée avec les lits faits. Tout était simplement au top et merci à Alan.

Excellente semaine dans la maison tout confort d'Alan à Lus-la-Croix-Haute. Nous avons apprécié la grande pièce à vivre avec son salon vue sur la vallée, sa cuisine ouverte bien équipée en comparaison de nos experiences précédentes, le système sono et les salles de bain privatives dans chaque chambre. L'intermédiaire d'Alan sur place était très réactive par téléphone pour nous donner les informations complémentaires au besoin. Les premiers commerces sont au village à 500m mais si vous envisagez de faire de plus grosses courses il vous faudra faire 30min de route ainsi soyez prévoyants. Nous avons par ailleurs eu de la neige en abondance ce qui a grandement égayé notre séjour. Restrictions sanitaires obligent la plupart des activités à proximité étaient fermées mais nous avons donc pu nous rabattre sur la luge dans le jardin et les ballades à pied qui ne manquent pas aux alentours.

Bijzonder goed en van alle gemakken voorzien

Modern ingericht, 4 grote slaapkamers met ‘en suite’ badkamer. Bedlinnen is voorradig, net als voor alle gasten een handdoekenset. Wasmachine en droger maken het compleet. Volledig ingerichte keuken, voldoende servies en bestek. Vooraf veel en actuele informatie over de woning en de omgeving ontvangen. Eigenlijk een prima vakantiewoning in een prachtige omgeving. Om het huis ligt veel grind, even rekening mee houden als je de motor meeneemt, het is overigens prima te doen! Bakker, slager, kleine supermarkt en diverse restaurantjes op loopafstand.

Wir vebrachten mit unserem Boxer 14 Tage in diesem wirklich keine Wünsche offen lassenden Haus. Großzügig modern eingerichtet, sauber und einladend vorgefunden. Der Garten für Hundebesitzer, durch den Zaun, einfach genial. Auch der Garten war sehr gepflegt. Das Umfeld ist ideal zum wandern und erholen. Wir können dieses Objekt eigentlich nur uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Superb very family friendly accommodation

A wonderful house in a beautiful spot with absolutely stunning views. We holidayed for a week as a large-ish family group and had a fabulous stay. The house was very clean and the kitchen had absolutely everything you would want from your kitchen at home (including an extra fridge for beer!). The house is spacious and open plan with plenty of room for everyone to enjoy their stay. Would highly recommend to people with young kids as it was pretty much all on the same floor (including the bedrooms). The large open plan kitchen/dining/living space was excellent for little people with any stairs gated or doored so it felt extremely safe and relaxing. There were good quality wooden cots (with very clean mattresses) that could be put in the any of the bedrooms as needed and all the bedrooms were spacious and ensuite. There were also highchairs available as needed. We made use of the washing machine and washing line - also very useful with small kids! The room we were in was perfect for a young family as it had a double bed, single bed and room for a cot if needed. It also had a bath in the ensuite. The small village is in easy walking distance, where there were 3 or 4 lovely places to eat as well as swimming pool, which had a kiddie pool as well. There is plenty of space outside for kids to play safely and the terrace with the beautiful views was a great place to spend afternoons and evenings. There was even a BBQ to use. It really felt like the owners had thought of everything! Cannot recommend highly enough.

Great house, great location, great views!!

We had a great stay at Luslecheylard. The property was really clean with plenty of space and eveything you could need to have an enjoyable stay. It's in a beautiful location with lots of nearby walks and an amazing view. Lus-La-Croix Haute is a really nice little village and it's only a 5-minute walk away. We had a really nice week here and I'd definitely recommend as a place for a relaxing holiday.

Why they chose this property

As soon as I saw this house was available I had to buy it, I think it's the best house in the whole valley.

What makes this property unique

This is a modern, environmentally friendly home, with geothermic central heating and an efficient log fire which burns wood cut from local, renewable forestry.

The views are stunning on all sides, and although the house is set apart from any other properties, it is a 5 minute walk to the village of Lus La Croix Haute, which possess all of the necessary services.
