Charming renovated barn, heart of the village

Located in the medieval village of Saint-Savin, this charming fully renovated barn will seduce you with its authenticity and comfort.
Whether it's hiking in summer or snowshoeing in winter, or bike breaks for cyclists, it is a paradise for sportsmen as well as a place of rest and calm.
A real cozy nest, the barn has on the ground floor a living room and upstairs, on the mezzanine, a bedroom and a shower room. Although small, the house offers all the comforts.
A small garden allows you to sunbathe and a garden shed to store, snowshoes, and bikes.
The village, a high place of heritage, is also part of the Pyrenees National Park, it is an ideal starting point to discover the different ski resorts like Cauterets, Barège, Le Hautacam, Luz Ardiden, Gavarnie and its circus, all in average, 30 minutes from the house, as well as from Val d 'Azun.
The Pic du Midi, as well as the mythical passes of Tourmalet, Soulor and Aubisque, are part of the surroundings.

Le logement de Genevieve est très bien équipé, il a beaucoup de charme avec les murs en pierre. Le village de St Savin est très joli et calme.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour dans la maison,, qui est parfaitement équipée, confortable, et joliment décorée. Il y a beaucoup d’information disponibles dans la maison pour faire de belles balades dans la région. L’environnement est très calme, le village magnifique. Merci à Geneviève et Fabienne pour leur accueil adorable et pour la disponibilité. Si nous revenons dans le coin, nous reviendrons avec plaisir! Corinne.

Hébergement conforme à la description, très bien équipé. Bonne situation géographique afin de visiter la région.Le seul petit bémol concerne le parking pour garer son véhicule. Quelques places à proximité mais sans garantie de disponibilité.

Un logement confortable au charme authentique dans un village au calme et correspondant bien à l’annonce. Bon équipement et un accueil agréable. L’emplacement permet de visiter la région facilement. Une riche documentation, mise a disposition dans le gîte permet de faire un beau programme de randonnées !

Fantastic cycling base camp

The house is centrally located for many beautiful cycling climbs: komoot.com/collection/2322621/-pyrenees. The location is perfect to just ride out the door and up the famous Cols the TDF and the Vuelta visited many times. Communication with the owner was prompt and smooth. The house is super cute and very comfortable in a quiet village, with a top notch restaurant just a 2 minute walk away. The kitchen is well equipped (there is a French press, a Nespresso and a drip coffee maker) and the owner was kind enough to set us up with the basics as we arrived on a Sunday afternoon. Could not have wished for more. Highly recommended.

St-Savin et ses environs ont été une très belle découverte. La maison, un lieu de détente très apprécié. On y est comme chez soi. Séjour inoubliable.

Un idéal point de départ pour découvrir la région.

Bien équipée, elle dispose de tout ce qui est nécessaire à un séjour agréable. Pendant les jours de la canicule, le rez-de-chaussée est assez frais, mais dans la chambre à l'étage la chaleur est étouffante, malgré le ventilateur. Mais c'était des pointes de chaleur exceptionnelles...

Logement tout à fait conforme à l'annonce, déco et ameublement soigné, très bien équipé. Le jardinet est très agréable. La propriétaire est très réactive et laetitia (procédures arrivée/départ) est dispo et arrangeante. Bref, séjour parfait.
