Welcome to the Rut 'N Strut Lodge South! Located only 6 miles from town and next door to The Rut 'N Strut Lodge North, this quiet rustic countryside getaway is perfect for both long and short term stays. Unwind over flames in the firepit while enjoying a Kansas sunset or enjoy your favorite book or movie while relaxing in our oversized recliners or reclining couches. The facility is fully furnished and will provide for all your lodging needs whether staying for a single night or an entire month. Hunters will enjoy the 8 outdoor covered dog kennels and game cleaning shed. We are located near 10,000 acres of public hunting ground.

Beautiful country getaway

My family of 5 stayed here for a weekend and were all impressed. Well stocked, very clean. We enjoyed the hunter’s aesthetics, epic sunsets, and the peace and quiet; except for when we used the shooting range of course :) Brandon, the host, was quick to respond to every question, and was very accommodating. We will be back!

A Hunter’s Paradise

The lodge was perfect! The layout of the house was perfect. The large living/dining area was great with the awesome decor throughout it. It also has huge laundry/ locker room when you walk in that was perfect for getting out of your hunting gear so it doesn’t dirty the rest of the house. The amenities were plentiful too. The host was quick to answer any questions I had on my stay there. I’ll definitely be staying there again in the future.

More than delivers....

The Rut & Strut was the perfect property for out of state work crews. The place was spotless & it was so nice to have additional room to spread out. The grill was an added bonus. I will absolutely come back when we are in town. Brandon was a great communicator.
