Wilderness Escape lets you share treasured moments with friends and family when you stay at this inviting 3-bedroom secluded cabin. Lounge in the comfy living room, eat together in the dining area that seats 10, and unwind on the deck/patio. Cozy up by the fire pit and swap stories and laughter.

This comfy, unique cabin sits in the beautiful mountains and trees of Idaho on a 1-acre property. This remodeled property is just waiting for you to relax and unwind. Whether it's for a weekend visit or a weeklong trip, you'll love your stay.

Wilderness Escape includes 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 1 pull-out couch in the family room, a laundry room, a fully stocked kitchen, a comfortable dining room, a good-sized living room, and a nice back deck. Right in the heart of Island Park, there are plenty of ATV and snowmachine trails close by.

Only 30 minutes to Yellowstone National Park, 10 minutes from Island Park reservoir, and 15 minutes from Henry's Lake. The cabin sits on a 1-acre lot with plenty of trees and privacy.
Travel 5 mins to Mack's Inn and float the river or take a short family hike by Coffee Pot Campground along the Mack's River.
This cabin is an outdoor paradise offering guests easy access to top-notch fishing, hiking, and exploring.

Take a day trip to Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks, then return to make a tasty meal in this home's fully equipped kitchen. Be sure to drive up to Sawtelle Mountain for a beautiful view of the area.

Looking for a family reunion spot where you can stay close together? We offer a cabin next door. The garage in between offers a wide range of activities and extra tables for family gatherings. Together, the cabins can sleep 20 guests, with plenty of space to spread out on 1 acre and enjoy the beautiful pines around you. There is plenty of parking in the circular driveway to accommodate cars and all the toys you can bring.

This was a fabulous house for our family! It was excellent accommodations while we toured Yellowstone. The drinks at the nearby Soda Shoppe were a fun afternoon treat!!

Great house close to Yellowstone

This is a great house with everything you might need for your stay. The property is as described in the listing, the check in/out process was easy and so was communicating with the owner. The house is about 30 minutes drive from the West Yellowstone town and park entrance. We would gladly stay here again!

Nice & comfy Cabin and very close to Yellowstone

It was a good cabin and the host was very responsive to our needs, it worked out very well, Would recommend the host to focus on cleaning, improve the patio and outdoor lighting. But I would recommend anyone trying to find a cabin near Yellowstone west , this one is very good to go for.

Great cabin in a great location!

The pictures don't do the place justice- the owners have done a fantastic job creating what was the perfect vacation cabin for our family. VERY CLEAN, and communication was excellent. The descriptions were very accurate, and the property had everything described and more. It was very quiet and dark around the property (what we were looking for). We would definitely stay again!

Wonderful Cabin!

Our family stayed at this lovely cabin for a week in September! We really enjoyed our stay! The cabin was clean, comfortable for 4 adults and two children under five. The owner was very responsive and even left some toys/coloring books for the girls to play (thank you Robyn!) We were visiting Yellowstone National Park for the first time so having the cabin be only about 20 minutes from one of the Park's entrances was very helpful. We throughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely plan another trip in the future.

Great Choice

This house was exactly as stated in the VRBO listing. It had everything. We liked that it was close to Yellowstone yet just out of the way of all the downtown tourists traps. The beds were comfy, plenty of room and seating for all as well as any appliance gadget you can think of. Our plans of traveling the national parks do not have us coming back to this area again any time soon but I would recommend this home without hesitation.

VRBO web site makes communication difficult

We had a minor problem and tried to communicate through the WEB site and it was down and we had not way to reach the owner because the WEB site was not working. When we finally reached the owner she had the same problem She was most hepful

Stay here!

You can trust renting from these good people. The pictures are accurate, the cabin fresh, clean, and new, and well-thought out, with little extras like plenty of hooks for towels. The decor, furnishings and appliances are quality, including the bedding and towels, and the communication with the owners is excellent. Any response to a concern (like resetting the internet) was immediate. We packed into three days: renting a side-by-side to run the trails, making a morning run into Yellowstone, feeding the fish at Big Springs, going shopping and attending the Playmill in West Yellowstone, played games, painted rocks, went for walks, and watched movies. (Several are supplied.) There were also some toys for little ones to play with, but we had mostly teens on the trip. If you are considering coming to the Island Park area, you would be wise to stay here. The property is excellent and well maintained. The only suggestions I would have for the owners would be to supply a box fan for the patio door, as generally, cross vent was better at cooling inside than the central air. The small fan in bedroom #2 did a great job for that area, and I'm sure the other rooms would benefit from one as well. The fan light in the living room was excellent. OH! And thank you for the cute note and M&M's. They evaporated instantly!

Great spot to stay near west Yellowstone

We LOVED this house!! We were really impressed with this home from our first step inside the door. It is VERY clean, has comfortable furniture, a well-stocked kitchen, and a very helpful booklet that explains the arrival and departure information, as well as local restaurants and recreation information. It was secluded while still being a reasonable 30 minutes from the West Yellowstone entrance. It was also not far from the Tetons. We would definitely stay here again if we go west!

Off the beaten path when visiting Yellowstone

Rental process and communication was very easy! Quiet location, comfortable furnishings, well stocked so we could make meals, washer and dryer allowed us to catch up on some laundry during our road trip. Convenient to Yellowstone - about 30 minutes or so to west gate.

Tranquil Stay

Had a lovely, peaceful stay in this quiet cabin in the woods. Have to admit, it was initially a little daunting for us city folks, but the house is pretty easy to find. It had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable and kitchen is well stocked to be able to cook. We loved the welcome note and m&m’s waiting for us. The host responded immediately to all of our questions. We stayed 3 nights and would definitely return if we come hack to the area. Thank you for sharing your home!

Exceptional place

The house was VERY clean and the beds were really comfy. We enjoyed our stay.....quiet area. We were only 30 minutes from Yellowstone West entrance and even tried glamping for a night! Thanks for a wonderful memory.

Great cozy cabin close to Yellowstone

Everything about this property exceeded expectations. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked with all the pots/ pans/ utensils we needed. The kids in our group loved that there were Legos and some other things to play with. Very quiet neighborhood a bit off the main road. The host was very helpful and always responded to messages quickly. I would definitely consider staying here again

This was by far the easiest check in and out ever! It was a fabulous place to stay! Everything was clean, cozy, and decorated great! Had everything needed for a wonderful stay!! Cabin stocked for most all of our needs! Robyn was the perfect communicator on everything! Would and will recommend to everyone thinking of staying there!!

Wonderful place, location and hosts!!

The home was clean, great location, comfortable. It was perfectly stocked. Kitchen had it all!! The hosts Robyn and Eric are kind wonderful people and so accommodating even to go out of their way to bring us a firmer brand new mattress and more new pillows, and a personal fan to meet our groups demands. The nicely decorated home is spacious. Close to Yellowstone and hidden in a wooded area all for ourselves. We all loved it!!

Raised a combined family of 9 and currently have 35 grandchildren. I grew up coming to Island Park with my parents and currently own 2 VRBO/Airbnb rentals next door to each other. The rentals are side by side for great family gatherings. I love to help people have fun and build memories. Neighboring cabin is Property Listing #1678045. I love to travel, horse ride, play pickleball, tennis, golf, boat, and water ski along with surfing and my husband loves to golf, read, fish, and keep up with his wife. This property is in the secluded wilderness with lots of trees and privacy. We also own the cabin right next door that sleeps 12, Property Listing #1678045. It sits on an acre lot and feels like home. The best part about this cabin is you can rent the one next door and have plenty of space for larger groups without getting tired of each other while making memories for a lifetime. It also offers a simple and comfortable setting for a smaller group with lots of trees for that mountain and wilderness feel.

Great place to relax and visit the sites. It has a big kitchen that opens into the living area along with 3 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms for under $300. There is plenty of parking for your ATVs and snowmobiles trailers with a circular drive. Would consider one trailer upon request. The property is close to Yellowstone National Park, Henry's Lake, Big Springs River, Mesa Salls, plenty of good restaurants, and so much more. It's the perfect getaway. Has 5 min free access to the Buttermilk boat dock and 10 minutes away to float Mack's Inn River. Big Sky is only 1 hour away for biking, hiking, and skiing. We love helping people have fun and build memories to make your vacation one you will never forget!
