Linda and John were perfect hosts. We felt right at home in this clean, cute home. It is very convenient to the great town of Charlavoix. Breakfast and conversation was wonderful. We will stay here again if we are ever in the area.

We enoyed our stay at the Sunflower Inn and would highly recommend staying here. John and Lynda were great hosts and the breakfast was so good! It is in a great location and very quiet. Charlevoix is a cute little town and very walkable (and bikable) from this wonderful, little bed and breakfast.

Quaint B&B close to downtown Charlevoix. The room was spacious and we had the run of the house. John whipped up wonderful omelettes and Linda’s oatmeal chocolate chip cookies were to die for. The hosts also provided great suggestions for activities in the area.

What a gem

We spent the night in this charming B&B waiting for the ferry to Beaver Island. The room was clean and cozy and breakfast was delicious!!! Fantastic location and close to the ferry.

Great place

Stayed overnight for a wedding. Owners were very helpful and returned phone calls promptly and answered all questions. Breakfast was great and bed was very comfy! Definitely recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at the Sunflower Inn. The Magnolia room was perfect in every way. John and Lynda are fantastic hosts who make you feel completely at home. Breakfast was outstanding and fueled us up for the start of our day exploring.

The owners made us feel immediately at home, and the Magnolia Room was clean and comfortable with all the little touches that make for a pleasant stay. We enjoyed a great night of sleep and a hearty breakfast that kept us going most of the day! Would definitely return.

Very Friendly

Friendly and attentive hosts. Very clean room! Great hot breakfast every day! John makes a delicious omelet. The bed was very comfortable. Convenient to all Charlevoix activities.

Our stay at the Sunflower Inn was great. The owners were there to welcome us and explain all procedures. Also waiting for us were fresh baked cookies, bottles of water and a variety of Keurig beverage choices. Breakfast this morning was amazing and prepared by the hosts. The location is close to the beach and downtown. We will definitely return.

Top Notch!

Lynda and John are great hosts! We shared drinks and stories in the backyard. The breakfasts in the morning were best meals of the trip. Our room was super clean and cozy. We loved our stay. 5 stars!

Lovely one night stay

My husband and I recently had the pleasure of staying in the Magnolia Room at Sunflower Inn. The hosts were wonderful and their home is lovingly cared for. We were more than happy with the accommodations. The room and the attached bath are immaculately clean, beautifully updated and larger than appears in the photos. We also appreciated the very comfortable bed!! Breakfast, too, was absolutely delicious. We highly recommend.

Pretty property, convenient, gracious hosts

John and Lynda are welcoming hosts to their beautiful property. Our room was tastefully decorated and impeccably clean. The mattress is new and one of those high end foam types. Super comfortable! The flower gardens are abundant with room to sit and chat in the yard or have a campfire. Breakfast was delicious and John made a few adjustments easily for our unusual diets. The location is on a quiet street easily within biking distance to downtown and beaches, and walkable, too, at less than a mile. But Charlevoix is easy to navigate by car with parking on streets and city lots. Communication and access to the house very easy. Lovely all around and definitely recommend.

Pleasant Stay in Charlevoix

We had a very pleasant stay at the Sunflower Inn. John and Lynda are the perfect hosts and provided a great breakfast each of our four days there. You’ll feel like you’re at home. Your accommodations will be private but there is opportunity to converse with others at breakfast, around the fire pit, etc. The hosts gave us some great ideas for exploring the area, so don’t be afraid to ask. The inn is a 10 minute walk to the Lake Michigan beach or the quaint town of Charlevoix. If you’re into a bed and breakfast type experience, you won’t be disappointed.

Very welcoming!

John and Lynda are amazing hosts, very kind and welcoming. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and the bathroom is awesome and private. The bed is the most comfortable one I have ever slept on. The breakfast is very personalized and tasted amazing. Charlevoix is a super cute town, lots to do...would definitely stay here again.
