Apt La Franqui - Terrace - Greenery and sea view
200 m walk from the beach, shops, restaurants and bars.
Located in a very quiet street (second line), with a small view of the sea and high up on the cliff side.
We rent the apartment by the week in the summer season and from Saturday to Saturday, for a minimum of 2 days the rest of the year except for periods including public holidays or events such as the Mondial du Vent.
Your apt is located in a house on the ground floor, it is air-conditioned and/or ventilated.
It has a private terrace in the shade of pine trees and was completely renovated in 2024.
It includes 2 bedrooms, a living room-kitchen, a bathroom with shower.
The apartment is pretty, comfortable and well equipped.
It was classified *** by the Gites de France.
Some say that La Franqui is the local Cap-Ferret... ;-)
Family seaside resort, without concrete, under the trees with a long 8 km beach and a cliff, coves: unique in the sector... Ideal for relaxing…
Also ideal for snow sports fans, Leucate is a "spot"...
Further information :
- Possibility of parking bicycles, strollers, WindSurf, KiteSurf and/or other sports or beach equipment in the garden: the gate locks if necessary.
- No barbecue allowed for safety reasons
- Drying rack available
Cleaning fees: we do not include a “Cleaning fee” by default. Here in a few words below is the presentation of our way of operating which, a priori, is very appreciated...:
. First solution: you prefer that we do the cleaning: a check for €60 must be given to us upon your arrival. !!! Please inform us when booking for our organization.
. Second possibility (the most common so far): you leave us a deposit check for the same amount upon your arrival and it will be returned to you or destroyed after your departure IF THE APARTMENT IS LEFT IN EXACTLY THE SAME CONDITION OF CLEANLINESS AND STORAGE than the one you found it in when you arrived... ;-). It will of course be cashed otherwise.
All information concerning the house is recorded in a welcome booklet.
It can be sent by email before arrival and will in any case be available in the accommodation on the small shelf above the refrigerator;
A small collection also includes the instructions for using the various equipment (air conditioning, fan, cooking, washing machine, etc.)
Arrival and security procedure:
- Entrance from the garden at n°10
- A digital code present to the right of the entrance allows you to open the roller shutter. The code will be provided to you before your arrival
- Two keys will be left inside on the table: they will allow you to lock the garden gate AND the glass door.
In case of emergency :
. If you were stuck inside (electrical failure preventing you from exiting if the roller shutter is closed for example), a "firefighter" type "break box" is present in the metal cabinet in the bathroom: you will need to break the small window and you will find a key that will allow you to exit through the adjoining garage.
. If you were stuck outside (electrical breakdown preventing entry if the roller shutter is closed for example), a "secure key box" is present under the exterior garden staircase: you will find a key there which will allow you to enter through the rear door of the adjoining garage then through the metal door which leads into the hallway of the apartment. Patrick, the owner will give you the code by phone, SMS or email.
A few additional rules for a pleasant stay... ;-):
- The accommodation is non-smoking but there is an ashtray on the terrace (often above the mailbox)... ;-)
- Parties, evenings... of course... vacations... but within reasonable limits and respect for the neighborhood (maximum noise until midnight...). You can of course put on some music and enjoy the terrace with friends but… we have neighbors (quite a few retirees)… and they are there to rest… Plan not to make any noise that could disturb them from midnight please. La Franqui is not Cap d'Agde... ;-)
Well... during the day, be a little careful anyway... ;-): Feedback...
