Beautiful farm house, great place for dogs. The only minor thing we found was that since this is a working farm, loud fans in the grain silos would come on occasionally. We just turned on white noise to drown it out but it wasn't a serious issue. Would stay there again for sure.
This old farm house was amazing. The beautiful sunrises and sunsets just set the mood. Peaceful area...even when they were working in the fields. My dogs LOVED the pond. We loved the long evening walks along the property. I was so happy that this owner did not have a breed restriction. So many places will not allow Rottweilers ..but she didn't even hesitate. This home brought back lots of childhood memories... Perfect house to sit out on the porch and watch sunrise and sunsets.... Will definitely stay here again if we make it back for another dog trial!! The owner was always so quick with her communication.
We really enjoyed our stay it was great to sit on the porch in the evenings and go walking down by the pond. The house was enjoyable and wish we could haved stayed longer would like to come again sometime and explore some more activities that are within a hour or so of there.
The property was great. Very secluded but a 10-15 minute drive to civilization both ways. Loved fishing in the pond and exploring the land. Best home away from home and just an overall great experience.
Our visit to the farm was such a wonderful experience!! The farmhouse is beautiful and the country peaceful atmosphere is just so very lovely. Stephanie is the greatest host i have had!! Great communication and all the little things show that she wants her gueats to be comfortable. I cannot recommend this vrbo enough!!!!!
We stayed here two nights. We enjoyed the peaceful area and enjoyed the hike back to the far pond. The beds are a bit hard, but everything else was great. We would consider staying here again.
We very much enjoyed the tranquility & privacy of the farm on our move from Michigan to Virginia. We couldn't have found a better place to decompress & just enjoy all the farm had to offer.
We loved the old farmhouse feel! We have family that live close by, and this was a perfect place for us and our 4 children to stay! Beautiful country house!
The farm was wonderful. It worked wonderfully for us as we were traveling with our working sheepdogs to compete at a local trial. Having a place where they could stretch their legs was FANTASTIC after spending most of the day in their rates or tethered at the trial site.
We loved staying in this country farmhouse. We had plenty of room and enjoyed the view of the open fields. It was very relaxing and getting away from the big city and interstate. We did attend the National Archery tournament in Louisville and other fun activities but it was nice to unwind in the country. It was a great family getaway and enjoyed having our dogs with us too.
