Siamo molto entusiasti delle stalle recentemente convertite che si trova a circa 4 miglia da Arbroath. Abbiamo utilizzato materiali di altissima qualità per questa bella conversione dalla scala in massello di rovere alle superfici di lavoro in granito lucido nelle cucine. Per rendere il tuo soggiorno il più confortevole possibile, c'è molto spazio per riporre le cose, e tocchi extra come lavastoviglie, wifi e TV 3D con pacchetto Sky completo (compresi gli sky sports) per rendere il tuo soggiorno una vera vacanza. E 'decorato in uno stile contemporaneo con opere originali della Galleria Kinblethmont.

La porta di congiunzione al Coach House può essere aperta per ospitare fino a 14 persone in tutto l'edificio. Un tavolo da pranzo più grande può essere allestito per 16 persone per occasioni speciali in famiglia.

Ci piace essere verdi qui, quindi la Coach House e le Scuderie sono tenute calde e accoglienti con riscaldamento a pavimento al piano di sotto e radiatori al piano superiore - il tutto alimentato da cippato di legno della tenuta Kinblethmont. .

Il vecchio giardino recintato per la casa di Kinblethmont è stato trasformato in una zona di comfort per i cottage con giochi da giardino e attrezzature da gioco ed è a 5 minuti a piedi attraverso i sentieri boschivi dai cottage.

Kinblethmont è il luogo perfetto per te stesso per una vacanza in qualsiasi momento dell'anno. The Stables si trova nel cuore dell'idilliaca tenuta Kinblethmont, circondata da boschi pieni di uccelli, ma è ben posizionata per visitare molte delle attrazioni turistiche della Scozia più lontane.
Il Castello di Glamis, il castello di Donnattar, la RRS Discovery a Dundee sono solo alcuni dei luoghi di interesse nelle vicinanze. È un paradiso per i golfisti con Letham Grange accanto e i famosi corsi di Carnoustie, St Andrews e molti altri campi non molto distanti. Ci sono molte spiagge da scegliere - Lunan Bay - una famosa spiaggia naturale premiata è a soli 5 chilometri di distanza. Dalle stalle ci sono sentieri e passeggiate (o giri in bicicletta) attraverso boschi o su per la collina da dove ci sono ampie vedute delle colline di Angus e del mare.

amazing.

we decided to rent this cottage out as our family live in the surrounding area and we have had the most spectacular time. not only is it surrounded by serene scenery where you can relax in the outdoors but it also has a walled garden wherein you can have fun with your family and play games using the nets and the table tennis. we have all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and 100% recommend this to anyone thinking about staying here.

Peaceful hideaway in Angus

This cottage is fitted out to a very high standard and is in a lovely peaceful location. It is 6 miles to Arbroath where there are shops and eateries and is in an ideal situation for exploring Angus which is a lovely county. Very handy for the coast, Dundee, Glamis Castle and the Angus glens. The roads are very quiet in June - perfect.

A beautiful, comfortable and cosy house.

Even though the weather wasn't great, which you would expect in January, we were very content to stay indoors in front of a blazing fire.

We stayed here over New Year with family and also had the coach house too. The stables were very cosy,clean and well equipped with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. We loved the window seat so did the children.

Wonderful stay at the Stables

I was expecting a high standard of accommodation at the stables and was not disappointed. The Christmas tree was a wonderful welcome along with a personal note from Jessica. The moment we walked in we felt at home. Although the stables was warm we did light the log burner and relaxed after a very busy Christmas Day. The walks round the estate were a great way to get some fresh air. Would certainly recommend this accommodation and book again.

Lovely relaxing stay

The stables property was lovely for a relaxing, peaceful weekend away. Directions were easy to follow and the accommodation was well marked with signposts. The property has everything you need for a stay away from home with a well equipped kitchen and plenty of DVDs and toys for the children. Our daughter loved playing with the farm play set. The wood burner was great and made the house really cosy when it was on. Would easily recommend to others. Thanks.

Ideal proprty for ‘getting away from it all’.

We have stayed in ‘The Stables’ a couple of time this year and have found the property to be ideal for ‘getting away from it all’. It is very stylish, comfortable, clean and well equipped to enjoy a few days of relaxation and stress free living. The kitchen provides all the required necessities expected of a self-catering apartment, with instant hot water on tap and a full range of crockery, pots and pans etc. We were provided with a fresh pint of milk, shortbread, crackers and a small pot of delicious jam, which were unexpected gifts. The woodland grounds of Kinblethmont are quiet and peaceful to walk around and the walled garden is well looked after and is filled with beautiful trees, plants and shrubs etc. The ironwork on the gates is very ornate. Highlights: The underfloor heating downstairs is just wonderful to walk on. Comfortable beds. Walks in the grounds. Homeliness of the wood fired stove, although the central heating is very efficient. The eco-friendly environment. The friendly manager of the property provided excellent customer service. Excellent location for exploring the East Coast and surrounding villages. I have no hesitation in recommending the property to my family and friends.

A luxurious peaceful woodland cottage.

Really nice well equipted cottage. Comfortable and with plenty of space in the open plan kitchen / living room. Two large bedrooms and nice shower / bathroom. Good location for us and we cycled off in all directions of the compass during our week. Everything we required was provided.

Beautiful, Tranquil and Perfect

Everything you need in a beautiful cottage. Lovely walks. Loved the walled garden. My husband got a big kick out of the wood burning fire. Would highly recommend and we will be returning.

Perfect....perfect....perfect

The Stables is a fantastic home from home place to stay and furnished to a very high standard. It has everything that you need.....washing machine, dryer, clothes line and pegs, fridge, freezer, lots of pots, pans and utensils, Hoover, dish washer, oven, microwave, ironing board, iron, clothes horse and cleaning equipment. We loved everything about The Stables and Kinblethmonts grounds are very impressive. We met Jessica and Johnathan both very polite, friendly and helpful. This was a great base for us and we travelled to different places but the boys loved to come back to their "new house" to follow the different routes around kinblethmont to the walled garden where they played on the park equipment, played football and table tennis. There is more to do there e.g. Badminton, rugby, croquet, picnic benches, barbecue area. All in all you would not be disappointed staying here and we will certainly return without a doubt when we return to this area of Scotland.

Fantastic - Highly Recommend - We Will Return :)

First impressions of the cottage were great, we could see the Christmas tree lit up through the kitchen window and there was a beautiful wreath on the door. We were able to park right next to the entrance of the cottage so unpacking the car was a breeze. On entering the cottage there is a lovely utility area with washer/dryer (washing powder and tumble dryer sheets provided), 3 drawer freezer, coat hooks, iron and floor space for shoes and wellies. There's also a very spacious toilet with wash hand basin (1 full toilet roll & hand wash provided). Beyond the utility area is the large open plan kitchen, dining and living area which we loved. It was brilliant for spending time together as a family without one person being locked away in a kitchen which we find on some self catering holidays. It had everything you could possibly need and more. The large cupboard under the stairs also had a clothes horse, vacuum cleaner and ironing board. There's a book case with books and cupboard under the window with children's toys which our 3yr old enjoyed playing with. The cottage as a whole is very child friendly but has all the luxurious touches adults will appreciate. We were able to borrow a stair gate and bed guard completely free of charge which were in very good condition. Upstairs are two large bedrooms and a lovely family bathroom with P-shape bath and roof window. There are complimentary toiletries, bath, hand and face towels in both bedrooms. There is also a hairdryer provided in each bedroom in the chest of drawers. We ventured out to Glamis Castle to the Christmas Market which was a 30 minute drive away. On the way back we were able to stop off at Tesco and Aldi. Once back we were able to order a pizza from Domino's - There are a few takeaway's in the area which can deliver and also a newsagents called Arbroath Party Time which will also deliver shopping and alcohol. On the grounds is the Walled Garden, being December we took a walk down but only expected to have a look given the weather. We were surprised to find a large box of outdoor games in very good condition so we spent a lot of time playing badminton, skittles, croquet and throwing a Frisbee. There's also a ping pong table with bats and balls. We took a small towel to dry the slide so our daughter could play on it. There's swings for both very young children through to adults! Overall we cannot fault this place at all and we will most definitely be coming back!

Beautiful and Inviting

This is an amazing cottage that is definitely worth a visit. It it located in the grounds of a majestic home with beautiful grounds and gardens. The accommodation is very appointed with everything you could think of with high quality beds and pillows. I plan to come back with all the family and stay in the larger property they have next door. Excellent accommodation with beautiful grounds

We stayed for three nights. All aspects of the buildings were wonderful with very good fixtures and fittings. We would definitely recommend this as an excellent place to stay, warm and comfortable.

Beautifully appointed holiday let in tranquil esta

A lovely modern conversion of previous stables in a large Angus estate. Warm, comfortable and well appointed. Wi-Fi speed and coverage in the property could be improved upon but that was the only niggle. Nice walks available in the estate and good play facilities for children as well as an excellent table tennis table under cover in the Walled Garden. Arbroath just ten to fifteen minutes away with good range of shops and choice of several big supermarkets. Owners very hospitable and were quick to help out with an electrical failure in the property. Highly recommendable.

A very unique and special place

We cannot recommend The Stables enough. The accommodation is lovely and of a very high standard - there has clearly been a lot of thought put into the design. We particularly appreciated the cleverly thought out living room window looking out onto the woods - every day presents a different picture and you could gaze at it for hours................The grounds of Kinblemthont are really something special, lots of woodland walks and you really do feel priviliged to be able to access such secluded and wonderful countryside. Our wee boy particularly enjoyed his daily walk through the "magical forest" to the walled garden with the special little playpark. What a thoughtful and lovely touch. The owners themselves are very friendly and approachable and nothing could be too much trouble. The surrounding area is really breathtaking - Lunan Bay beach is in our opinion one of the nicest beaches in Scotland and is no more than 10 minutes drive away. Lovely accommodation, in lovely grounds, in a lovely area of Scotland ..................we will most certainly be back!

Impressive !

We thoroughly enjoyed our week in the Stables with our 10 month old son. He had just learnt to crawl and loved the enormous open plan lounge & kitchen ! The Stables is well equipped and having Sky HD away from home was a real treat. The bedrooms are enormous and the king size bed is very comfy. Our last stay at Kinblethmont was in the Studio back in 2010 and we were pleasantly surprised by all the work that had been done in those 3 years. The walled garden with its swings & slide was a lovely discovery. We look forward to returning, hopefully next year !

Cottage idéal au coeur de l'Ecosse

Merveilleux cottage au coeur de la campagne écossaise correspondant exactement aux photos du site et mieux encore.Les gens nous ont acceuili très gentiment et ont été très serviables.Il est à la fois au calme et proche de toutes commodités. Ce cottage a rendu notre voyage en Ecosse inoubliable ! A recommander ! Nous vous conseillons le seatfront à Montrose pour les enfants, le petit Pucci's coffee de Montrose pour le fish and chips, le monument Wallace à Stirling , la région des Trossachs et la découverte du Loch Katrine en bateau à vapeur, Lunan bay pour de longues promenades à marée basse, le Glamis Castle et Holyroodhouse d'Edinburgh ....

The Stables

We stayed at the Stables for 2 nights in August. The apartment was very new and was even better than it looked in the pictures. Everything has been designed thoughtfully - from decorations, kitchen equipments, a 3D TV to demister mirror in the bathroom. We had a nice BBQ on the terrace, and the kitchen is so well-equipped that you can easily whip up a feast. There are coffee maker, tea pot, coffee powder, tea and even milk in the apartment. There is also a lovely wood-burning fireplace, which makes the apartment even more cozy. Wifi was not set up at the point we stayed in the apartment, but it was no problem at all. We did not have too much time to walk around Kinblethmont, but it certainly looked very interesting, and we hope to have a chance to go back. We also visited Arbroath, Aberdeen, Dundee and the area nearby. Tentsmuir Forest certainly worth a visit when the weather is nice. The owners have provided many suggestions of what to do, and there was no lack of things to do even if the weather is not good. We very much enjoyed the stay. Thank you very much!
