We chose this condo because it is the best location, best views, and newest most luxurious Condo in Bayfield, Wisconsin. We know that when new vistors come to our area, they will never forget the beauty. Bayfield during the peak season of May through October is never crowded. So many artist galleries to visit, trails to walk or bike and everything is within walking distance.

What makes this condo unique

In the morning enjoy that cup of coffee on the balcony, here the soft sounds of seaguls and look out at Madeline Island watching colorful Sail Boats, the Madeline Island Ferry, Kayaks, and so much more. One of the few 'Best View' condo's in Bayfield along with off street parking for 2 vehicles adjoining the Andrew Tate Condo #200. Excellent cellular phone coverage from this condo (a rarity this close to the water) you are never out of touch. The in-house electronic tablet has high speed wireless internet. With a click of a button you can look up excursion trips, sail boat charters, kayak rentals, bike rentals, down hill or cross country sking, and the Ice Caves just 12 miles North from the condo. Off street parking just steps from the entrance.

Had a great time celebrating our 15th anniversary in Bayfield. Enjoyed Meyers beach on Madeline Island, frequent trips to the Candy Shoppe in downtown Bayfield. Wish we had more time to explore the Sea Caves. Hope to come back in winter and stay again at your Tate Condo #200

Adorable Apartment

My friend and I stayed 3 nights at the Andrew Tate #200. We found the apartment to be clean and convenient with a well-equipped kitchen. Both the bed and sleeper sofa were comfortable. It was perfect for our stay. I would definitely stay at Andrew Tate #200 again.

Great Location

We really liked the apartment. It was very clean and had all the amenities in the property. It is located right in the heart of Bayfield's main attractions. The owner, Jack, was very helpful with excellent timely communication. If going to Bayfield, great place to stay at.

Nice condo, road noise though

This condo was very nice, spacious, great view! Loved that it was within walking distance to everything in town. But the downfall it has is that since its right downtown and on the main road thru town, the road/walking noise is very bad. It was just me and my husband who are in our 30's and like to sleep in (9-10am) when on vacation, which was not do able what so ever. We got woken up every morning to noise at 5-6 am, and the bed was very uncomfortable for the both of us unfortunately.

Owner's Response: Thank You for your review! I am sorry that it was so rainy May 26 & 27th. Rain tends to have a real negative effect on all of our moods, especially when on vacation. I know all of us here in Bayfield are so glad that the long period of rain is over and the sun is out! I am sorry that you thought it was a little noisy in the morning. Hwy 13 does go through downtown Bayfield to the North Shore, and you will here a few cars and trucks go through in the morning as people go to work in Herbster & Cornucopia. As you may know, the main part of Bayfield with accommodations and shops is only 3 blocks North & South and 4 Blocks East and West. Also sorry you did not enjoy our newer King Size, Pillow Top brand name bed. We have had no complaints on our bed, only compliments. We hope you will come back and enjoy Bayfield and the Apostle Islands on Lake Superior in the future. Perhaps a more quiet setting in a cabin just outside of town or on Madeline Island may make your experience more enjoyable. Thank You! Jack & Marie

Any clean up required by our staff will be charged to the customer’s credit card.
