This home is in a nice, quiet neighborhood, and it is a short drive from the highway. Get ready to have this house all to yourself, while you enjoy the town or when you need a break from driving . Terrible

The ordors of smoke and other smells, comforter in the front bedroom was dirty, sheets were wrinkled,oven was dirty and top of the stove needed cleaning, dishwasher had rust in it, wallpaper coming off the wall in the family room, ceiling tiles had stains, bathtub need to be replace due to stains, there was pennys on the floor in the family room and the internet was down and tried to connect to amazon but no success. The ordor was bad, I have Asthma and if flared up and had to leave. Sent several messages to the owner and no reply. I took a video of the house.The property will be nice if there was a cleaning of entire house and furniture.

Peaceful and restful

Best of all, I loved the bathroom which reminded me of ours except in a different color. Very quiet neighborhood; all we could hear was the wind in the trees. Went to bed early and woke up early. Better than a hotel, we felt like we were staying at a friends’ house. Totally recommend this if you like a nice quiet stay.

This property is just fine. Neighborhood is quiet, conveniently located to everything. House is in decent shape and stocked with everything needed to cook meals. I would have no problem staying here again.

My first impression of the home was the strange odor when i walked in. As a contractor, I noticed what is clearly flaking lead paint in the bathroom. The Wifi in the home would connect to the smart tv, and my phone, but, witn "no internet." I messaged the host about this issue, and explained what was going on, and he just told me that there was wifi. No help. So, no tv. Then, just today, I was messaged that the Fire Stick (that wasnt even there to begin with) was missing, and would i tell them where it was. The level of communication by the host was terrible, sometimes taking a day or more to respond, and the accusation of theft of the fire stick was completely unfounded. Overall this was an uncomfortable stay. Fortunately the home was very clean, but I can not recommend staying here

Very Nice in a quite neighborhood

It would be nice if all the House rules were listed and left out on the Main table or Refrigerator, TV and WiFi information, garbage pick up day and other important information as to not bother the host and wait on a reply. Don't get me wrong the place was very nice.

Humble down to earth Accommodations

Down to earth stay at a down to earth place. We nestled our family here for extended family get-together. Everything worked out great. The host is extremely accommodating. Sleepy neighborhood. It was exactly what we hoped for.

Great location just what we needed

This was perfect. We were in town for an event in which i bake. The house has a beautiful kitchen and made it easy for me to provide my goods. About half way through the weekend i was asked to preform a wedding the last night of the event so i contacted Tim and asked if we could stay an extra night and he instantly added a day to our stay i paid the extra and he made it extremely simple. Thanks for the perfect weekend

Lots of space, good value.

The house was in a quiet neighborhood. Besides the two bedrooms there was a huge family room with four couches in addition to the two and a living room so lots of extra space. It was a bit dated decor, reminded me of Grandma's house but it was all very nice and clean and was everything we needed. We did have a little trouble staying connected to the internet or getting a cell signal. We would stay there again it was a nice place and worth the price.

The property was a bit overgrown. The tree in the front yard blocked the view of the house from the street. The steps going into the house are very steep first step about 10 inches made it a bit difficult for me with a bad knee. The back porch sitting area had a couple chairs and a table but, the tree next to it was overgrown and un able to use. I was in town for a wedding so for just sleeping two nights it was better than a hotel. I only mention these things so that maybe it was an oversight by whoever takes care of the property.

No blankets

Arrived in a snowstorm to a nice toasty warm house but no blankets on either bed. A search turned up one blanket in the whole house. I slept in my clothes and borrowed blankets the next day. Also the sheets were so worn they were either badly pilled or actual holes. Otherwise would have been 5 stars

Home away from home ohio

Very nostalgic decor. Very clean, great gathering for me and family when visiting. Quaint quilts hung on the walls, and coke memorabilia. Comfortable bedding and large appliances that work well. The community was very quiet and close to a grocery store and restaurants. The only negatives were one bathroom when 2 were advertised, a poorly functioning toaster and difficulty gaining access using keyless entry. The owner quickly responded about the difficulty with access, and once we had the correct code it worked flawlessly for the remainder of my stay.

Not saying you‘ll be murdered in your sleep…but I‘m not saying you won‘t, either

Had a business trip in Warren, so I figured I‘d give a Vrbo rental a try rather my norm of getting a hotel room. This particular property seemed pretty decent; 2 bedrooms, kitchen, backyard, etc. What could possibly go wrong? Oh, so much. My first red flag was when the confirmation email asked that no guests enter the basement, while assuring guests that “no one would be in the basement.“ Ok…that‘s pretty odd. But maybe it‘s just used as storage, right? Upon arrival, the first thing I noticed was that the pictures were strategically taken so as to avoid showing the state of disrepair to the exterior of the house, or the plastic covering the front windows. Well, whatever, I‘m not here for the cosmetics. Upon entering the house, it became quickly clear to me that someone lived in this house and this wasn‘t just odd decor becuase it was a Vrbo. I can get over the seriously over-the-top collection of Coca-Cola memorabilia and even the ridiculously dated decor, but the children‘s toys in the closet and on top of the fridge seemed a bit odd. The framed family pictures in the kitchen? That made me think someone basically just packed up and left while renting the place out intermittently. Still, though, it‘s a Vrbo. What do I care if someone wants to rent their house out to strangers? But the basement… I‘m not spending 5 nights in a house without knowing what‘s going on in the basement, so…down I go, rental confirmation instructions notwithstanding. Yes, at first, it seemed to be used as storage. Then I noticed the chaotic living room type area complete with blankets and pillows. And half-eaten bags of snacks. And then I noticed the clothes strewn about the floor. It looked like the filthy bachelor pad of an overgrown man-child that spends his days playing Call of Duty on XBox. But the bigger question was this: was he there now? Lurking in the darkness trying to avoid detection? Not gonna lie, it sure as hell felt like it. Done exploring…back upstairs. That‘s when I noticed the Buick Rendezvous parked in the garage. Seriously? Don‘t go in the basement, but don‘t worry, no one else is here? While there‘s a car parked in the garage? And it looks and feels like someone might peer out of the shadows at any moment to discuss putting lotion in a basket? Nah…I‘m good. I got a hotel room, instead.

Not a place I would stay again.

This is an older home and the property inside and outside needs some attention. It could be a nice home if the inside was updated. It had a musty smell and is in need of some repairs and cleanliness The kitchen faucet was hard to turn on and provided only a trickle of water. The tub was in bad condition. The lighting was poor with light bulbs burned out. There were strange noises coming from refrigerator and furnace. No cable so we were unable to watch any TV because we do not do streaming.

Well, the neighborhood was quiet

It appears for whatever reason, this house is basically unoccupied and the owner is renting out to get some short term income. The cypher lock was broken at check in and the phone number listed for the renter was disconnected. He did answer VRBO chat quickly and sent someone over to open the place. The home could use some loving, with assorted things needing repair. There was a dispenser of liquid soap by the bathroom sink, but nothing for the shower (or shampoo). The cleaner forgot to empty the grounds in the coffee pot and there were moldy grounds in there. If you do laundry in the cellar.....let's just home the owner has straightened up down there.

Affordable stay

First off the property is very affordable and located just a couple of roads from my parents house, who we were in town to visit with, so the location was ideal. Based on prior reviews and the listing we really didn't have super high expectations. The property was relatively clean. It is very dated and has had some deferred maitenance and updating that would need to happen to make a 5 star accommodation. All of the furniture is old and should have been changed out years ago. All of the couches have covers showed a lot of dirt and hair. The beds were all old and uncomfortable, which is a major negative for me. Im not buying the house so the old decor and the dated bathroom and kitchen are one thing but the kind of gross couches that I have to sit on and the old and uncomfortable beds that I have to sleep on are important to me and a fail in my opinion. It feels like someone inherited the property and just listed it on VRBO because they didn't know what to do with it. We referred to it as grandmas house while we were in town.

Girls weekend

My daughter and I had a relaxing weekend here visiting with another daughter. Plenty of room for the 3 of us to relax. House is older but had everything we needed, was clean and we were comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet and convenient to everything we needed. We enjoyed our stay!
