Located in the heart of the Couches countryside, in a picturesque and peaceful little wine-growing village, nestled in a beautiful natural amphitheater between vineyard slopes, wooded hills, and meadows, it is just 4 km from the charming medieval village of Couches, a designated "Green Holiday Resort" (home to the magnificent castle known as the "Château de la Reine de Bourgogne," a former medieval fortress of the Duchy of Burgundy dating from the 13th century and listed as a French Historical Monument) and 10 km from the spa town of Santenay (offering all shops and services). Numerous outdoor activities (including delightful hiking trails winding through the vineyards) and a rich heritage to discover in the surrounding area (numerous castles, mills, fortified houses, menhirs, etc.), all within a magnificent, unspoiled rural setting.
