This cottage, officially classified 3 stars by the tourist office, with swimming pool from mid-April, is ideal for relaxing with family or friends. Many activities if you are in search of nature, like the sea and the countryside, history, water sports, walking and mountain biking. Ideal also for teleworking. Your family can enjoy everything that is available for entertainment, in the gite and on the property, fully fenced, for the safety of children and animals.

Great holiday

Amazing gite, fully equipped and very comfortable. Hosts very friendly and helpful. Good location, not far from numerous sandy beaches. Highly recommend.

Spot on

The owners are very nice and gave us a good welcome. The house is very spacious and well stocked for cooking. The grounds are safe for children and the pool is really good. The homegrown tomatoes are excellent. The area has lots of nice and interesting places to visit.

Wonderful place to relax and unwind

Had a lovely stay in with Christelle and Gerrard. The house is wonderful and situated in a very picturesque, sleepy part of French countryside. Fantastic communication throughout the whole process, lots of friendly and helpful advice on places to go and things to do. The accommodation was perfect for a family and Christelle and Gerard have thoughtfully provided everything needed for a family holiday. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Idyllic gite

We’ve been doing gite holidays in France for 10+ years and this is definitely one of the best. A beautiful and idyllic location, with pretty gardens surrounded by fields of sheep, cows and horses. The pool is heated to 28 degrees so you can swim even if it’s not that hot outside - it’s also extremely clean and well looked after. The house itself is perfectly equipped, spotlessly clean and offers plenty of space. The location is convenient, only five minutes’ drive from a town with small supermarket, boulangerie, bank, post office etc. It’s also only 20 minutes from the gorgeous coastal town of Granville and lovely beaches. Gerard and Christelle gave us a warm welcome and didn’t seem to mind our noisy splashing children and rusty attempts at speaking French 😊 We absolutely loved our stay and I’m sure we’ll be back.

Amazing property, highly recommended

Christelle and Gerard have been amazing hosts throughout our stay. The property is very clean and well maintained. It is tastefully furnished and decorated, providing excellent "home away from home" for holidaymakers. The kitchen was surprisingly well equipped, everything was very new and functions perfectly. The large pool was cleaned daily and the maintained at a comfortable temperature. The cottage is spacious and comfortable to live in. There is a large outdoor area that is completely fenced off, perfect for visiting with an active dog. The nearby towns and villages provide plenty of opportunities to have a good time for everyone in the family. Out of the 4 weeks that we spent there we worked for 2 weeks, the internet connection was acceptable for teleconferences as well as for watching movies via streaming services. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our 4 weeks' stay and would definitely visit Village Gustin again.

A little green paradise

It was the first time with our three daughters (12, 14, 16) in France - and the first question after two amazing weeks at this beautiful place was: Can we come back next year? :-) The gite is great: spacious, nicely decorated and esp. in the kitchen equipped with everything you need. It is easy to start relaxation right away. No doubt, this has been the best equipped holiday home we ever had! For the kids, of course, the pool is fantastic: just outside the door, heated and absolutely clean. Additionally, the outside area is very beautiful - large and quiet, a little green paradise. To Granville it took about 15 minutes by car, and 20-30 minutes to the beautiful beaches near Bréhal. Finally, Christelle and Gérard are great hosts: hospitable, friendly and always willing to help and explain. Communication in English (when our limited knowledge of French failed...) was no problem. A booklet with all information about the house und the area was available in English, too. Pour nous, ce furent deux semaines très formidables. Merci beaucoup!

Die Anreise war entspannt. Das Haus war früher als erwartet zur Übergabe bereit und die Vermieter haben uns umgehend darüber informiert.Nach Ankunft wurde uns das Haus sowie die Einrichtung ausführlich gezeigt und alles erklärt. Sofern etwas benötigt wird solle man es umgehend sagen... Aber was soll man brauchen ?! Es war wirklich alles da...Vom kleinen Löffel, über alles was man für's grillen backen, kochen etc. benötigt... Inkl. aller möglichen elektrischen Helfer...Können wir nur weiterempfehlen...

Zalig huis

Het huis was perfect in orde. Er is werkelijk alles aanwezig wat je nodig hebt. Zalig om te vertoeven. We hadden jammer genoeg niet zo heel goed weer maar we hebben er toch van genoten. De eigenaars zijn super lieve mensen. We voelden ons helemaal welkom.

Mes plus belles vacances

Un énorme merci à Christelle et Gérard pour leur accueil. Dès notre arrivée on se sent comme à la maison. Le site est à couper le souffle. Que dire du gîte d'une beauté et propreté décorée avec beaucoup de goût on a juste une envie c'est de ne plus partir. La piscine chauffée parfaite. Que du bonheur merci merci pour tout. Heel aangename vakantiewoning in mooie omgeving.

De gastvrouw en gastheer zijn heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De vakantiewoning is onberispelijk netjes en werkelijke van alles voorzien. Wij waren er in de winterperiode en ook dan is het er aangenaam verblijven. De haard draagt daar zeker toe bij. De gastvrouw had de versierde kerstboom reeds klaargezet en ons verwelkomd met een lekkere cider van appeltjes uit haar eigen tuin. In de buurt met de wagen veel bezienswaardigheden makkelijk te bereiken.

Très bon lieu de séjour

Vaste, très calme, équipement de la cuisine parfait, petite terrasse close très agréable, propriétaires attentionnés. Deux petits bémols : attention à ne pas se cogner aux plafonds des chambres dont certaines parties sont assez basses ; on aimerait pouvoir payer quelques heures d’aide ménagère au départ pour éviter d’avoir à faire un grand ménage. Au total une très bonne adresse pour une famille, dans un environnement charmant.

Très belle prestation

Un gîte très bien, très agréable et super bien équipé. Nous avons vécu à 7 et nous avions vraiment de l’espace. Vraiment je recommande ce gîte et en plus nous avons eu le plaisir de déguster un excellent cidre élaboré à partir d’un pommier du gîte . Très, très bien

We had a very pleasant stay in this charming cottage nestled in the heart of the Normandy countryside. This extremely well-appointed gîte has been decorated with great care by its owners and has all the amenities (washing machine, dryer because the weather is often humid, barbecue, fully-equipped kitchen, numerous beds, terrace to enjoy in good weather a cider or a calvados from "La Ferme de l'Hermitière" with a clear view of the property ...) for a comfortable stay with friends, as a couple or as a couple with children. The land that hosts this cottage is very spacious and also has a swing and a magnificent heated swimming pool which made our daughters happy. In addition, the key places of La Manche are a few minutes away by car (Granville, Mont Saint-Michel etc.), which is very appreciable. Finally, we would like to highlight the warm welcome of our hosts (Christelle and Gérard) who will take care of you and talk to you with passion about their life project, which led them to create this beautiful place, and the region.
