Apartment SAINT-MARTIN2, in the heart of Colmar

Located in the heart of Colmar city center, in a lovely and quiet pedestrian courtyard, the Saint-Martin2 apartment is a charming 100m² apartment that can accommodate 4 people. On the 2nd and top floor (no elevator) of a small building, the apartment offers a unique view of the Saint-Martin Collegiate Church, located less than 100m away (yes the bells ring day and night!). Its exceptional location, just steps from restaurants, tourist attractions, and the Christmas and Easter markets, allows you to explore the city entirely on foot.

The apartment features:
- two bedrooms, one with a large double bed (160x200 cm) and a private bathroom, and the other with two single beds (90x200 cm),
- a spacious living-dining room with a flat-screen TV.
- a fully equipped open kitchen (oven, microwave, induction hob, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, washer-dryer, etc.),
- a bathroom (shower, double sink, toilet),
- and a second separate toilet.

Bed linens and towels are provided based on the number of people on the reservation. Free Wi-Fi.
Mobile air conditioners in living room and bedroom 1.
Please note that we do not allow the sofa to be used as a bed. No additional bed linen will be provided.
A baby crib and high chair are available upon request.
A secure storage area in the courtyard allows you to store bicycles.

Several paid and free public parking lots are available a few hundred meters away. The TGV train station is a 15-minute walk away.

We live in the building, on the 1st floor, and we will be available to answer your questions or in the event of a problem, and will be delighted to share our good addresses for restaurants, wine bars, pastries, cheese shops, caterers... and ideas for visits.

If you are planning a visit to Colmar and looking for a place to stay, do not hesitate to book Charlotte’s lovely apartment. We’ve stayed in many VRBOs over the years, and this is among our very favourite. It is huge and would easily accommodate two couples or a family with a couple of children. It is beautifully appointed and tastefully decorated. It also has everything you need to eat in if you want a break from restaurants, which we did. The directions to the flat and instructions for entry and using the appliances were crystal clear. The apartment is in the centre of all the action yet very quiet. Charlotte lives in the flat below and is easily reachable if you have any questions. A strong 5 stars.

Great location near restaurants and all the major sites. Apartment had everything we needed. We tried the recommended La Cocotte de Grand Mere and it was wonderful!

Enjoyable multiple-day stay in a great location. Appliances are up-to-date and air conditioner, when needed, was nice, but provided in only one of the two bedrooms.

Beautiful and convenient apartment in Colmar

This property was absolutely fantastic. It was comfortable, clean, well-appointed and the location could not have been more perfectly located in the center of the old town. Communication with the owner was perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The apartment was exactly as described - nicely decorated, comfortable, convenient location and helpful host. The church bells do get a little loud, but a white noise machine or ear plugs blocked it out.

Charlotte was amazing with her communication! This is such a charming apartment with all the amenities located in the heart of Colmar. If I ever visit Colmar again, I would definitely stay here again. Loved everything about it! If I could give more stars, I would! 😀

A VERY nice place to stay

Bright ,airy and large apartment even in winter-very centrally located in historic part of town- about 20 minute walk from train station. Well equipped kitchen- washer dryer-dishwasher- very quiet area with room for 2 couples or a family. Would definitely stay again. Charlotte was very good as property manager. Only downside is that it is on 3rd floor with 44 circular steps to climb. Not for mobility challenged.

This apartment was amazing. Such a wonderful place to unwind after landing in Paris. The location couldn’t be better. It’s right in the middle of town but also felt quiet and secluded. Views from every window were beautiful. It was about a 15 min walk from the train station. We did it with 2 kids and all our luggage and it wasn’t a big deal. The apartment was clean and well-equipped. There was even a special little area for my kids to sit and color. It was wonderful to have the kitchen and laundry in room. We traveled as a family but it would be perfect for 2 couples as well. 2 bathrooms and bedrooms made for ease of getting ready and the option of privacy. The host was also amazing. My son was having issues with an ear infection. I reached out for a doctor recommendation. She responded almost immediately with a recommendation and offering help. We were able to get him seen quickly and her help made, what could’ve been, a stressful situation much easier. There’s nowhere else we’d stay if we find ourselves in beautiful Colmar again.

Great place in heart of city

A wonderful apartment right in the heart of the historic city. Everything was a short walk away. The train station is only a 12 minute walk away. Very spacious apartment That’s well equipped. The owner/property manager was very helpful and great at communication. She replied quickly to all my questions prior to arrival. Would definitely recommend this apartment.

Wonderful home away from home

My husband and I loved our little home for our time in Colmar. The apartment is extremely spacious, more than enough for 4 people, comfortable for up to 6. The kitchen, bedroom, and bathrooms were clean, larger than average in Europe, and stocked with everything we needed for our stay. The location is excellent, steps from everything, yet not right on top of the tourist areas. It was quiet at night, enough to open the windows for a nice breeze. Within a half block of the church square, there was a lot of places to eat or get anything we needed. Being so close to the church, you do hear the church bells, from 6 am to 10 pm for the on-the-hour loud peals, with some smaller chimes in the night. We normally sleep with earplugs anyway, so this wasn’t an issue, but anyone trying to get to bed before 10 pm will be woken up by the 10 pm bells. Not a deal breaker, but something you should be aware of going in. I would stay here again in a heartbeat, based on the amazing location and generous space. Charlotte was a wonderful hostess. She was very responsive and helpful, and everything about the check-in and check-out process very well explained and clear. Thank you for a wonderful home away from home experience!

Tolle Wohnung und super Lage

Sehr schön eingerichtete Ferienwohnung. Es war alles vorhanden. Die Vermietern ist sehr nett und sympathisch. Der von ihr empfohlene Parkplatz war nur einige Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Die Lage der Wohnung ist top, man ist sofort mitten im Geschehen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind zu Fuß auch gut zu erreichen. Colmar ist wirklich sehenswert und sehr sauber und gepflegt. Der See mit dem dazugehörigen Sandstrand ist schön angelegt und sehr sauber. Wir haben keinerlei negative Erfahrungen gemacht.

Belle découverte

Grand appartement idéalement situé au centre de la vieille ville. Instructions d'arrivée très précises, faciles à suivre. Appartement propre, bien équipé. Literie confortable. Pas de place de parking mais grâce aux bons conseils de la propriétaires, facile de trouver une place à bon prix. Le seul bémol sont les cloches de la cathédrale la nuit. Sinon, tout était parfait.

VRBO description and pictures are accurate. We can’t say enough positive things about our stay and experience. The location is in the perfect center city location surrounded by and close walking distance to restaurants, sights, shops and Colmar charm. Charlotte’s communication and attention to detail were excellent. The apartment exceeded expectations being beautifully furnished and fully stocked with more items than needed. If you want the Colmar city center experience close to everything, look no further.

Wunderschöne Unterkunft in toller Lage

Es war ein rundum toller Aufenthalt. Die Wohnung ist wunderschön, klimatisiert, zentral aber dennoch ruhig gelegen und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Charlotte (Vermieterin) hat uns sehr herzlich empfangen und uns gute Tipps für Aktivitäten mit unserer 5jährigen Tochter gegeben.

Superbe!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour sous la protection de la cathédrale St Martin, dans le cœur historique de Colmar. L'appartement est vaste, équipé, meublé et décoré avec goût. Nous avons cuisiné, super bien dormi et pris du bon temps.Tout fonctionne bien, la literie est parfaite, le double vitrage très efficace. Charlotte qui habite en dessous est prevenante et rend volontiers service. Nous étions donc "comme à la maison" pour ce jour de l'An pas comme les autres. Nous avons apprécié de décharger les bagages en arrêt minute dans la rue piétonne en bas de la maison avant d'aller nous garer en périphérie du centre ville. Je remercie les propriétaires de leur accueil de qualité.
