Welcome to Le Moulin de Chazotte, a 16th century French watermill offering beautiful, family friendly self-catering holiday accommodation near Cognac, France.

Our four exclusive gîtes are brimming with charm and character whilst offering all the modern comforts and facilities to ensure you have a relaxing and rewarding holiday. All gîtes have their own private terrace and also offer access to 12 acres of grounds and facilities, including the large heated swimming pool.

Located in blissful rural tranquillity within the Poitou-Charente region on the French Atlantic coast, we are only 10 minutes away from historic Cognac and a short drive to the nearest village with that all important local boulangerie. This picturesque region is steeped in Roman and Medieval history and is known for its sleepy villages, Romanesque churches, heritage towns, as well as for the famous and delicious Cognac drink of course.

Le Chai is located on the ground floor and on one level, it is the perfect bolthole for a couple or small family. Accommodation for two with built in bunks for two more.

The gite is perfectly formed with all the charm and authenticity of a suberb Charentais stone-built dwelling. Le Chai also boasts its own privately enclosed terrace, with barbecue and private views over the millpond and River Chazotte.
