Relaxing stay in the Vendee

We had a lovely week at Olonne sur Mer and it’s a great base to see the wider region. This property is also located near some wonderful nature, not least the beach which is in easy walking distance. Also great to have the pool easily in hand as well. Great communication from Anne-Christine, the owner, too.

Great stay between the marshes and the dunes

A spacious, well-located, well appointed home with everything we needed. Lovely to sit out in the evenings on the terrace and enjoy the view of the marais. Our hostess was in regular contact to make sure everything was OK. Highly recommended.

Traumhafte Unterkunft in einer wunderschönen Umgebung

Wir haben die Zeit in dem Haus genossen! Das Objekt ist wie beschrieben. Die Zimmer liessen sich gut abdunkeln, so das unsere Söhne gut ausschlafen konnten. Die Umgebung ist wunderbar zum Wandern und Fahrradfahren geeignet. Unsere Söhne waren an dem schönen Strand immer Surfen. Aber auch zum Baden und Sonnen war er perfekt. Insgesamt hatten wir eine schöne Zeit und werden bestimmt wieder kommen!

Sehr empfehlenswert!

Das Haus liegt in einem separierten Gebäudekomplex ("Residenz") mit viel Grün direkt an den Salzsümpfen. Das Haus selbst ist sehr großzügig und bietet wirklich alles, was man so vor Ort braucht, wenn man als Selbstversorger unterwegs ist, auch hinsichtlich (hochwertigen) Elektrogeräten und Küchenausstattung. Das Vermieterehepaar ist sehr nett und außerdem klar kommunizierend, was wir sehr zu schätzen wussten. Hätten wir ein größeres Problem vor Ort gehabt, hätte man sie jederzeit ansprechen können, aber das war bei uns nie nötig. Aufgrund der Lage des Hauses ist es leicht, Ausflüge zum Meer zu Fuß oder mit dem Fahrrad zu unternehmen (sowohl Surfschule mit Surfboard-Verleih an einem der Strandabschnitte als auch menschenleere wildere Strandabschnitte vorhanden) oder auch mit dem Auto nach La Rochelle oder Nantes zu kommen. Auch das Hinterland (Nesmy, das Yon-Gebiet, Lucon usw) ist sehr attraktiv. Es gibt zudem in der Nähe etliche Dolmen und Menhire in der Nähe zu besichtigen. Toll ist auch der Gemeinschaftspool, an dem unsere Kinder des Öfteren verweilten, wenn die Eltern mal ein Buch lesen wollten. Einziges Problem(chen) kann manchmal sein, dass Einzelne in den Ferienhäusern der Anlage sich nicht an die Ruhezeiten halten, da die Häuser teilweise doch recht dicht aneinander gebaut sind, aber das war innerhalb unserer 3 Wochen zum Glück sehr selten der Fall. Insgesamt wirklich sehr empfehlenswert!

Entspannter naturnaher Urlaub

- Das Haus ist ein typisches Ferienhaus, es ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht, es bietet ausreichend Platz - Die Lage ist direkt an den (ehemaligen) Salzwiesen und direkt an der Abfahrt zum Strand Sauveterre (für einen Parkplatz in der Hochsaison am besten vormittags an den Strand fahren - es gibt aber auch einen guten Radweg) - Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in Olonne sur Mer, Baguette etc. kann beim Campingplatz in der Nähe gekauft werden - Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin ist hervorragend - Es war ein schöner, entspannter Sommerurlaub in der Vendée!

Schöner Urlaub zwischen Strand und Salzwiesen

Ein sehr schönes Haus, gut ausgestattet, super Lage, ruhig gelegen mit tollem Blick auf die Salzwiesen. Sehr freundliche und zuvorkommende Gastgeber. Nur 1,5 km bis zum Strand. Es gibt kaum Radwege im angrenzenden Wald, hauptsächlich Wanderwege und einen Sandweg entlang der Küste. Man benutzt zum Rad fahren den Fernradweg und die Wege durch die schönen Salzwiesen. Eine Surfschule gibt es am Strand und in der Nähe einen Reiterhof. Es war ein entspannter Urlaub mit unseren beiden Teens, die den kleinen Pool in der Anlage genossen haben. Lieben Dank.
