De tuin, het ruime zwembad, de terrasjes, de barbecue en het uitzicht zijn fantastisch. Ook is er voldoende ruimte om te parkeren, staat er een tafeltennistafel en is er een baan uitgezet om bocce (jeu de boules) te spelen. Het interieur heeft echter wel wat aandacht nodig. Niet alles is even schoon of functioneel en de faciliteiten zijn niet van een niveau dat je bij deze villa mag verwachten.

Anders als Kroatien oder Spanien!

Besitzer sehr freundlich und Hilfsbereit. Wen es nicht stört, dass nichts zu Fuß erreichbar ist ( die Lage ist aber beschrieben) und alles mit dem Auto erledigt werden muss, ok. Großer Pool! Ländliche Lage!

Disappointing

I’ve rented 28 different properties from home rental sites over the past 15 years, including 3 rentals during our recent trip to Italy, and I’ve never left a negative review. Any problems I may have had were either too minor to mention or easily solved during our stays. Until this rental. During our check-in with the very lovely manager, we all noticed the musty smell, particularly on the ground floor. This would have probably been livable, except the my asthmatic son developed a severe cough within minutes of being inside the living room. I had to take him out to the car and give him 2 different inhalers to control the cough. The manager was kind in helping us find an area hotel. We rented the house for 3 nights, but were only able to sleep there the final night after daily airing out the house. There’s a very awful smell under the kitchen sink, suggesting a plumbing issue of some kind. When I discussed the situation with my son’s pulmonologist, he thought my son’s reaction was suggestive of mold. Despite this, we made the best of our short stay in the area, enjoying the pool and outside loungers during the day, and staying at the hotel at night. We weren’t completely disgusted until the final day. As we were leaving, the manager and owners came to meet us. My husband very politely asked if there was something they would be willing to do for us, as they were aware that we were not able to fully use the property and had incurred $400 in hotel fees. The owners offered us a measly $150, which was bad enough, but even worse, stormed away angrily yelling that they’d never had a problem before. I can’t speak for other renters. I can only share my experience. A house can not be healthy if a child needs to leave within minutes of entering just to breathe well. All this said, the house is prettier than in the photographs. The views are gorgeous, decorations are beautiful, kitchen is well stocked, etc. The pool and grounds are a little slice of heaven. If they were able to fix the air quality, and graciously deal with issues as they surface, this could be a perfect rental.
