The property is dog friendly (with additional Pet cleaning fee).
THE SPACE
The expansive and clean beachfront in family friendly Brigantine is one of New Jersey's best kept secrets. For those that want to visit the boardwalk this is also within driving distance to the boardwalks at Atlantic City and Ocean City.
This 1BR Suite sleeps up to 4 guests. The spacious, residence-style layout includes a master bedroom with a King bed and Living room with a Queen sleeper sofa. This unit also has full kitchen with 3/4 sized refrigerator, Stove, Microwave, Dishwasher, Coffeemaker, Toaster, and Cookware, Dinnerware and Flatware for four.
This is one of only 4 units in the building that provide access to your own outdoor balcony. The unit is located on the West side of the building overlooking the Bay / Sound / City of Brigantine but has outstanding Ocean Views.
LaScala's Beach House is also onsite and has good food and beverage options set in a Caribbean theme, along with live music performances during the week. There are many outdoor seating and lounging areas around the Bar area as well as additional outdoor seating on the large common Patio outside the main Building entrance. This makes for many relaxing outdoor spots for enjoy a coffee in the morning and a beverage of choice in the evenings. There is also a large Indoor Pool and Game Room.
Brigantine New Jersey has a year-round population just above 9,000 people â that may not be tiny, but itâs small enough to create a real sense of local community on the island. Even during the summer when the population more than triples for several months, the island is not nearly as touristy as other cities on the Jersey shore.
SOUND / CITY / OCEAN VIEW CATEGORY:
The Resort Hotel itself is Beachfront, located directly on a wide and beautiful beach, and is only steps away from the building.
This specific unit is located on the 10th floor of the Building and is one of only 4 units in the building that provide access to your own outdoor balcony. The unit is located on the West side of the building overlooking the Bay / Sound / City of Brigantine but has outstanding Ocean Views.
STAIRS / ACCESSIBILITY:
There are some stairs to enter and exit the main building, but while this unit is located on the 10th floor, there are no steps inside to your unit, and the building has elevators to reach all the higher floors.
BUILDING / UNIT INTERIORS:
This property was originally constructed in 1927. According to local lore the Inn was frequented by Al Jolson and Al Capone and various other mob bosses and figures that preferred this location over Atlantic City.
Over the years ownership was transferred to various entities, and today the Brigantine Inn is run by Legacy Vacation Club Resorts, who have tried to retain the essence and some of the design elements found in the original construction.
While you will find most unit interiors are clean and comfortable, they are a bit plain and a little dated. These units definitely have more of a rustic feel with older furnishings, comfortable but not luxurious. I'm not saying that to be negative, I'm just trying to help level set realistic expectations about what to expect. Having said that we enjoy our visits here, and this doesn't detract from our personal experience because the location can't be beat. Hopefully the photos provided give you a general understanding for what I am describing.
The benefits offered by staying at this resort are...
1. The fantastic beach in front of the property, only a short walk from your unit. You will not find the beach here as crowded as other locations on the Jersey Shore, which makes this a great location for a beach vacation.
2. Overall amenities (indoor pool, along with onsite Laguna Rum Bar and Grill where you can enjoy a beverage, meal, and live music sitting beachfront, etc,.)
3. The price. This is a very economical way to enjoy staying at an oceanfront property in New Jersey during a prime summer week, offering you more size and features (including a Full Kitchen) than a traditional hotel room elsewhere.
Many families enjoy their annual vacations at this property, however if you are a traveler that requires luxury accommodations, this may not be the right choice for you. If you have any specific questions on this please don't hesitate to ask.
GUEST ACCESS
This is a Resort Hotel property, so your unit will be private, but Amenities (Pools, Sun Deck, Beach, Game Room, etc) will be shared with other guests.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
- Primary Guest checking in must be at least 21 years of age with a valid ID and credit card for security deposit. Unfortunately, there are no exceptions to this minimum age requirement for the primary Guest who will be checking in. Your security deposit will be returned to you after Check Out if you have not made any charges to your room.
- Brigantine Beach Inn is professionally managed and operated by Legacy Vacation Resorts. The Front Desk is staffed 24/7 for Check-In, Check-Out, and is available for any questions, issues, or need for assistance. They are there to help so please donât hesitate to contact them during your stay.
- One FREE parking pass is included with this unit. If you need a parking pass for an additional vehicle you can arrange this directly with the Front Desk for an additional fee.
- Bedding linens, blankets, pillows are provided, as are bath towels. If you need additional items or want fresh bedding linens or towels during your stay, please contact the Front Desk. Although bedding linens, blankets, and pillows are provided, you may want to bring some of your own if you have a favorite pillow or blanket.
- If you plan on using the Sleeper sofa during your stay, I do personally recommend (if possible) bringing sheets, blankets, pillows, maybe even a mattress pad for the Sleeper sofa specifically, which can be turned into a very comfortable extra bed.
- Pool towels are provided for free, and they can be exchanged for fresh ones on an unlimited basis. However, if you or your family owns and likes larger beach towels, I recommend bringing them, along with any other Beach Blankets / Chairs / Umbrellas / Beach equipment you want at the Beach. If you donât bring your own Beach Chairs, Umbrellas, Equipment, etc you can rent the equipment in the area.
- There is no daily housekeeping provided. However there are Washers and Dryers available at onsite Laundry facilities. If additional housekeeping is desired during your stay, it is available for an additional fee scheduled directly with the resort Front Desk.
- There is no outdoor furniture on the deck. So if you don't want to use your beach chairs on the outdoor deck, I recommend taking some folding camp chairs. We take ours and they work great for setting up outside on the large outdoor balcony.
- Pet Friendly (Dogs Only): You can bring your dog for an extra Pet fee of $150-$250 per week. This additional fee would be paid directly at the Front Desk during Check In / Check Out. This fee is not paid to the Owner or AirBnb. You can call the Front Desk directly and discuss any questions about charges or conditions.
- There are Vending machines on the Ground level for snacks and drinks.
LOCATION
Planning a trip to New Jersey? Then you need to make the island of Brigantine, NJ part of your visit â itâs the Jersey Shoreâs best-kept secret!
Known as one of the most peaceful cities in south New Jersey, Brigantine is the ideal place for anyone looking to get away from the stresses of daily life. With miles of pristine coastline, soft white sands, and an active and friendly local community, youâll never run out of things to do in Brigantine, NJ.
If youâre not familiar with Brigantine, NJ, youâve probably heard of the city next door â Atlantic City is just a stoneâs throw away. In fact, Brigantine used to be called âEast Atlantic Cityâ more than 100 years ago.
But the island city of Brigantine has more than enough charm on its own. Clean and quiet beaches, scenic natural parks, and a rich history make the city a truly unique place to live and the perfect place to vacation. As a city that takes great pride in its beaches, Brigantine Beach is always kept clean. Itâs a big difference from the often cluttered and crowded Atlantic City beaches just minutes away, yet Brigantine Beach NJ still remains something of a hidden gem. As one of the last undeveloped beaches in New Jersey, you wonât find a cleaner or quieter beach in the state.
GETTING AROUND
One of the many reasons residents love Brigantine is that itâs the best of both worlds. They get a quiet beach community where they can enjoy nature at its purest, but theyâre also conveniently close to large regional attractions. If youâre vacationing, this lets you do things at your own pace.
When you stay in Brigantine, youâre a short drive across the bridge from the Atlantic City Aquarium, the Absecon Lighthouse, the Boardwalk, and many different Casino options. And at the end of a hectic day visiting Atlantic Cityâs bustling tourist attractions, youâll have a peaceful island to return to. In ten minutes, you can go from the crowded Boardwalk to setting up your towel on Brigantine Beach to watch the sunset.
The property is dog friendly (with additional Pet cleaning fee).
