FANTASTIC BACH near Pauanui Beach

Fantastic near new bach in a quiet cul-de-sac only 3 minutes walk to the beach.

Brilliant indoor/outdoor flow with Bi-fold doors opening onto two decks. The front deck is perfect for entertaining with outdoor dining. While the back deck overlooks the tranquillity of the 2nd hole of the Pauanui Pines Golf Course, a great place to relax. The house is fully furnished with all the expected mod cons of home, complete with Wi-Fi, smart TV, espresso coffee machine, heatpump, dishwasher, BBQ and even a box of books and toys for the kids to play with. Park your car or boat under the fully covered carport.

NOTE: You need to bring your own linen (sheets, towels & tea towels).

Enjoy golf, tennis, fishing, boating, beaching or a coffee at the cafes at the Pauanui shops. The Bach can also be used as your base for amazing day trips to many of the attractions the Coromandel Peninsula offers to visitors. For those wet days the bach has a smart flat screen TV plus DVD player and Freeview decoder. To receive your normal Sky services you will need to bring your own decoder or use the SkyGo app and cast to the TV.

Additional to the nightly rental is a cleaning charge that we arrange with a local cleaner for the day of departure (indicative pricing for this is $60).

No pets - no exceptions. Please don't ask as refusal often offends.

Over the peak Christmas/New Year period the minimum stay period is 7 nights.

Over the holiday long weekends the minimum stay period is 3 nights (e.g. Fri - Mon).

Special conditions:
NOTE: Under the Kiwi bach tradition you are expected to keep the bach tidy, take away rubbish, and do the dishes before you leave. Bring your own linen (towels/sheets/tea towels).

All the comforts of home

Perfect for our needs as a well-located base for exploring Pauanui and surrounds. Clean and tidy 3 bedroom Lockwood, right on golf course. Great comms from Scott which I hadn’t initially seen as they’d gone to my spam box. Would definitely stay again if in Pauanui.

Peaceful getaway

We had such a great time. The location is perfect for walks, beach and wharf. The bach is comfy and easy to care for which is handy with the teens. Lots of natural light. Even with all the rain, it was great that we were very comfy indoors. 😀

It’s a nice clean bach near the beach. It’s right on the golf course. It maybe should be a bit clearer on the posting that there are no linen, towels, coffee, hand towels, iron, dish towels, only a couple rolls of toilet paper etc. Thankfully we noticed the night before. Seems a little bit of a pricy stay for what you get considering, but it’s overall a nice bach with a heat pump and laundry. The power is off when you arrive so it’s probably best to arrive before dark.

An amazing place minus internet

The property is immaculate and tidy and has most of what one may need for cooking and baking. I liked the attention to the small details one may need during a short trip. It was just like staying in one's place. However, the lack of Wifi was a bummer in 2022, and I wouldn't say I liked paying the cleaning fee in cash on top of the rent.

Awesome family bach

This is such a great bach for a family break, lovely, clean and spacious. The egg chairs looking over the golf course were a massive hit as was the box of toys! A very short walk to the beautiful Pauanui beach and a warm outdoor shower to wash off when you return which we’d love to do!
