Great stay

The house was large, and the five bedrooms were just what we needed. Everything was clean and all of the beds were comfortable. The location was perfect for us. We enjoyed our stay, with no complaints.

House was accomidating, i wish it was disclosed that it sits directly under the flight path of the airport. It was fairly noisy at night. Overall nice place to stay. It was clean and had enough space for my family of 7.

Great location. Overall clean. Responsive host. Good price. Planes can be a bit loud a night. The kitchen is not very well stocked for a 5 bedroom house. We had to buy baking sheets and baking dishes in order to use the oven. TV is small.

The home was absolutely beautiful and spacious. There were only 4 of us with our own room. The master bedroom upstairs is massive. We had a lovely and comfortable time there. Lisa the host was easy to contact throughout the stay. Be aware Washington is very much into recycling. We had a bit of trouble not overfilling the small garbage bin.The home is on a slanted hill so I would suggest a SUV if you are doing a rental as not to scrape your vehicle. I do look forward to staying again next time I visit Washington.

Lots of Space

I had to reach out to the owner to get access information, they said they would text the details but it was 2 hours after check in time and did not receive it until I reached out. The house is large enough for multiple families. It’s a 90s style house, very minimal decorations. Only one small TV in the large entertainment space. The house smelt like the previous owners were smokers and the smell is apparent, discussed this with the owner who told me it didn’t smell like smoke and no one smokes there. The owner showed up unannounced to check this out and said it always smells like that. The bathrooms only had watered down hand sanitizer instead of any soap. It could be a great place with a couple improvements.

The house was great and location was perfect for our reason to be in the area. Our experience was unfortunately hindered by how the booking and checkout were handled. A day into our reservation the host informed us that the property was double booked and asked us to cut our stay short to accommodate another group. While she did offer another location further away, we did not end our booking early, but we did not appreciate being put in that predicament. The day of checkout- The listing clearly stated checkout at 11 AM when booking through VRBO, yet the host messaged and insisted it was 10 AM according to her own personal terms. Her personal description said to be out BY 11. Even after I confirmed we’d be out by 11, the cleaning crew arrived at 10:15 AM, which felt rushed and intrusive.Additionally, while we understand light tidying, it was frustrating to pay a high cleaning fee and still be required to complete a long list of cleaning tasks or risk a bad review as tenants by the host (the warning noted at the bottom of a cleaning checklist). The property itself was great, but these issues created unnecessary stress. Consistency with the posted VRBO terms would have made for a much better experience.
