Bring friends or family to stay in this 3 bedroom, 2 storey classic beachfront kiwi bach that's just a few minutes walk from the water's edge. It's well-equipped with all you need for a fantastic holiday, and there's a playground over the road which also has a half basketball court - perfect for shooting hoops. There's plenty of room for larger groups and it's cosy enough for smaller groups too. Hokio Beach is a really special place - quiet and laid back, perfect for a relaxing holiday.

Fill your days with swimming, fishing, gathering tuatua, whitebaiting when in season, and kayaking or playing table tennis, cricket, petanque, or 'pitch-n-putt' golf on the lawn or shooting hoops at the park (all equipment and balls supplied) - or simply explore with beach and bush walks. Alternately, relax on the deck and soak up the sun and peace and quiet. In the evenings, crank up the BBQ while playing darts or indoor bowls, and enjoy the sunset.

For the colder months, there's a wood burner in the living area (firewood is supplied) - and oil heaters in each of the bedrooms, and in the living area also.

Explore the fantastic Horowhenua region including the Papaitonga Scenic Reserve, Tararua Forest Park and other walking and tramping tracks, other nearby beaches, and the local golf course which is just down the road. The closest town, Levin, is less than 10 minutes away and has restaurants, pubs, cinema complex, aquatic centre, and Adventure Park - a fantastic playground for all ages. Make sure you also check out the Otaki outlet stores for a holiday bargain. There are even a few wineries in the region which are open daily.

The beach house has a fully equipped kitchen. Also available for use are a gazebo, tennis rackets, books, DVDs, cards, and board games, as well as freeview and a few SKY TV channels (or bring your own SKY card for more).
