Immediately adjacent to the Remutaka Cycle Trail and bridleways this newly built cottage is the ideal place to stay to explore the local area, whether by bike, horse or on foot.
Listen to the birdsong, sit and relax on the deck and watch the beautiful sunsets over the Rimutaka Ranges. Sit by the cosy log fire in the winter evenings and look out at the snow capped mountains. We can add additional touches if you are staying for a special occasion. There are kennels on the property if you want to bring your dog and a paddock available if you want to bring your horse.
10 mins from Upper Hutt where there are parks and swimming pools, bars restaurants and a cinema. Close to Kaitoke Regional park where there are fishing spots and water holes. 5 mins from the local golf club, rifle range and stock car racing.
Great for a weekend away in the quiet of the countryside and only 40mins from Wellington CBD.

Location is directly on the cycle trail.

Location is directly on the cycle trail. Its at the end of the hardest bit. The next day was wonderful. It has a great shower, and beers and pizzas were provided, what more could I ask for. Highly recommended especially for people on the cycle trail.

Wonderful Property and Hosts

We were fortunate enough to spend several blissful days on Belinda's property last month. Waking up to the horses, sheep, and chickens every morning was wonderful. The location is amazing...beautiful horse and farm country, yet only ten minutes to Upper Hut and adjacent to hectares of gorgeous forest and trails. Belinda was a most gracious host, and the place was spotless and equipped with everything we needed. Everyone was happy and had fun. Terrific experience.

Location AMAZING.

Location AMAZING. Propety AMAZING. I 100% will be back & cant recommend this place enough. My girls loved waking up to the horses, sheep, chickens & ducks every morning. The property is well looked after & has everything you need. Love love LOVED it

The cottage is modern, clean, comfortable and well stocked.

The cottage is modern, clean, comfortable and well stocked. Loved the shower. It is behind owners house, but feels private. The large deck provides extra seating space, the outlook over the hills is lovely and the animals out the back field provide extra entertainment. There is some traffic noise but it is not too intrusive and is not noticeable in the double glazed cottage. I have read there is a rooster, but we didn't hear it. We had a great, if short, break thanks .

Great place to stay we really enjoyed the rural environment coming from the city.

Great place to stay we really enjoyed the rural environment coming from the city.Our two girls really enjoyed feeding the animals that live there.We have already booked to come back in may as we enjoyed our first stay.Would highly recommend this accommodation.
